(Child Hugo)

Hugo sat in a small cage with a town of people standing around and staring. Hugo was just a pup feral as a Wolf pup could get growling and bitting the bars. Fluffing you're his guard hairs. The man selling him hit the top of the bars with the stick. "Stop it mutt." The man growled. Hugo tucked his tail at the loud bang on the bars.

A group of vampires gathered looking at the wolf putting bids down. Hugo snapped his jaws growling looking around. That's when he saw him, a younger man. He tilted his head and watched him. He yelped as the bars were hit again. "He's very wild. Start training now and he'll be a great fighter. He definitely..." he was cut off by a man's bid. "45,000!" A man shouted, the man holding the stick smirked. "I here 45,000! Anything else?" He shouted men groaned walking off. "For that?! It's not even worth 4,000!" A man said walking away. The younger man and his son walked up. "He's all yours Cedric, you gotta take good care of him." The dad said, passing the money. The small wolf looked at the kid, he wasn't any older than 15. Vampire aged so fast, he probably be the same age as Hugo if he wasn't a vampire. The wolf pup looked at the kid and sniffed through the bars. "He's not exactly a good gift for a kid. Little shit about took my fingers off." The man said counting the money. Hugo slowly walked forward sniffing the kid through the bars and looked at the taller man and whined. The kid smiled petting him, "it's okay I'll take care of you." He said opening the cage. Picking the pup up and held him. "Okay have fun with it." He said Cedric fallowed his dad. Hugo in his arms, "Let's take him shopping dad!" The Boy said the man nodded, "okay, he's your responsibility. My friend Zach will help you train him." The dad said, itching Hugo's head. Hugo pulled away from him nuzzling up to Cedric.

Hugo chewed the rope leash, fallowing Cedric around the store. It had all any vampire need for a werewolf. Luca wagged his tail sniffing a bone at his level and managed to get it off the self. It was a big deer bone being bigger than himself. He wagged his tail falling over in his attempt to pick it up. Cedric laughed softly and picked the bone up setting it in the cart. "That's gonna last you a while huh?" He asked petting his head.  Hugo waged his tail fallowing Cedric around the store as he picked things out. He looked up at Cedric as he put different collars on him. He wagged his tail as he put a black collar on him with spikes. He barked and licked his face. "I like that one to, you look so tough. But your just a little puppy." Cedric said, the cart was filled with anything Cedric needed or want for Hugo. As well as a few things Hugo steal from shelves. A few workers of the king fallowed and or stood guard. "Dad Hugo needs a bath when we get home." He said  itching Hugo's head as he held him. "Yeah? Well you wanted a wolf. He's your responsibility." His dad said paying and let the workers carry everything to the carriage. "Come on Cedric," his dad called, Cedric fallowed him and stepped into the carriage hugs sat looking at the steps then at the horses. Cedric got out and carried Hugo in. He wagged his tail. Looking out the wind sniffing and wagged his tail.

Hugo whined and splashed around in the bucket. Cedric smiled pulling Hugo out and dried the wolf off. Hugo growled bitting the towel pulling it and wagged his tail. "Your strong huh puppy?" He asked picking him up. Hugo wagged his tail and leaned into his arms. Cedric went inside and put Hugo in the bedroom. Hugo went around sniffing and looking around. Cedric whistled, Hugo turn around wagging his tail. He jumped up at him seeing the bone in his hand. "Mine mine!" He barked, Cedric smiled opening the door and ran through the house. Hugo fallowed after tripping down a the last few steps. He stood and shook his fur. Running after him, growling and run tripping a worker. Running outside after Cedric. Cedric chuckled, "sit," he said Hugo wagged his tail getting closer to him. Chopping his little jaws looking at the bone. Cedric rolled his eyes, "hey Hugo sit." He said Hugo whined and sat and happily took the bone. Laying down with it. Chewing on it, growling as Cedric reaches to pet his head. Nipping his hand, he looked at Cedric who pulled away and got tears in his eyes crying. Cedric's dad came over from talking to the wolf trainer. "Oh Cedric what's wrong?" He asked and looked at the boy. Hugo looked at Cedric and went to see him tripping over the bone. He whined and nuzzled against his leg. "He bit me, I just wanted to pet him!" He cried Hugo whimpered jumping up at him.

The wolf trainer picked Hugo up, Hugo whined and kicked his little puppy legs trying to get down. "I'm sure he didn't mean to Cedric, see your healed already. I think he's just protecting his food. He don't get rested to well before he found you. He just needs to learn. I'll work with him okay? You gotta help me though okay?" Zach said holding Hugo out for Cedric. Cedric slowly took the pup. Looking into his sad puppy dog eyes. Licking his face slowly wagging his tail. Cedric hugged the pup petting his head. "No more bitting ever okay?" Cedrics said the small pup nodded. "See he feels bad. He's a cute little guy, he's got bid puppy paws to grow into. I bet he'll be really big soon." He said ruffling the pups head.

Hugo sat on the ground and wagged his tail seeing Cedric. "Come on puppy fallow me!" He young prince called having a fake wooden sword on his belt and a crown in his head, he ran off. Hugo ran after him barking his tail wagging. He stopped as they got to a lake and watched Cedric walked across the log. Hugo climbed up the log and slowly walked a crossed the log jumping down when he made it. Wagging his tail, "I made it!" He said happily, Cedric pet his head. "Come on puppy lets go explore. This is all ours!" He said Hugo looked around wagging his tail. "We avoid the dark forest, never go there no matter what." He said leading him the other way. Hugo fallowed him wagging his tail. Lucas took off after a bunny. Sticking his head in the rabbits hole and dug at it pulling his head out and whimpered shaking his head. Cedric smiled and chuckled. "It's okay puppy. You'll get him one day." He said, the wolf pup barked and licked his face. Fallowing the kid home. Growling pouncing in a butterfly and 'played' with it. Tilting his head he nudged it and it didn't move. He scoffed shaking his head fallowing Cedric who giggled.

"Come on puppy it's dinner!" He said putting a bowl of water down his name being put in perfect handwriting on the bowl. "I feed my puppy good." He said setting down a bowl with chunks of beef and a box of other meats. Hugo wagged his tail eating. A kid a few years younger than Cedric came in gasping when he saw Hugo. "DAD!" He boy called, Hugo stopped and tilted his head. Putting his head down, the boys dad walked in. Cedric pet Hugo, "he's just jealous I got a puppy." He said "am not!" He argued the dad sighed, "that's Hugo, he's your brothers birthday gift. When you get to his age you can get one. You get to do anything with them. Hugo is a companion. But you can get your own someday and either train it to be a companion, a guard or anything you like." He said

The boy shook his head, "that not fair." He said "yes it is, you'll get your wolf soon stop complaining. Let's eat okay? Mom's at a friends so just us." He said, Hugo ate chomping on the stake. Licking his lips, Sebastian finished eating as did Cedric. Hugo fallowed Cedric up the steps and into the room. It was a very nice big room. "What does your human form look like?" He asked Hugo shifted to his human form. He had the same pretty color hair matching his fur as a wolf, a soft fluffy hair, he had the same amber eyes, that he shift to the blue color, pointy little ears, a fluffy tail. The spike collar still on him. He was lean and a bit smaller than Cedric. "How old are you?" He asked, "I'm 10," he said Cedric nodded, "were about the same age then. Vampires mature faset. I'll be fully mutate at 18." Cedric said petting Hugo. "We'll always be best friends. Your a good puppy, but no biting. Okay that my bed you sleep here." He said setting up a kennel with a dog bed on the bottom. "I don't want you to ever run off or get into something." Cedric said, putting a chew toy in. "But that's not until tonight. For now we can play!" He said bouncing a ball. Hugo wagged his tail barking catching the ball.

After playing outside it was past time to go in. Cedrics father came out and chuckled. Hugo whined as he was left in the kennel Cedric getting ready for bed. Cedric laid down trying to sleep, Hugo cried the whole time pawing at the cage. Cedric sighed getting up and got Hugo out. Holding him close "only for tonight puppy." He said both Cedric and Hugo falling deep asleep.
