Hugo sighed laying outside in the sun on 'his' rock. It was just a nice flat rock. In the perfect spot, it had the perfect amount of shade and sun. He loved sun bathing, the weather was perfect. Be beautiful fall day. The trees all turning colors and the wind was cooling. Hugo stretched and shook his head, he peeked up seeing his favorite worker. She was a vampire and really nice best of all she always had food, he whined excitedly seeing her walk over. His tail wagging, he smiled laying on his side. The women came over with a bowl. "Hi Hugo, here some lunch for you cutie." She said putting the bowl down. Petting Hugo, he wagged his tail and looked at her. "Thank you, Rose." He said eating.

Rose smiled sitting by him, he licked the bowl clean and looked at her laying his head in her hands. "You've gotten so big since you first came here. We used to be able to hold you in two hands." She said petting him. Giving him a few treats. Hugo looked at her and tilted his head as she stood. "I gotta get back to work. Prince Cedric will be Home soon." She said taking with bowl and left Hugo sighed and laid back down. The risk was the perfect place to listen for the carriage when Cedric get home from school. He laid his head on his paws.

Hugo feel asleep, slowly waking up hearing the horses and the carriage. Hugo sat and wagged his tail. He learned pretty quickly not to run over the the carriage. After a horses tried to kick him. He jumped off the rock and went to the carriage and sat. He bowed playfully as Cedric got off. "Hi puppy." He said petting Hugo. Hugo jumped on his almost being as tall as Cedric. "God your getting to big." He said pushing him down. "I'm gonna be taller the you some day I bet." He said wagging his tail. "Can we go for a hike master?" He asked walking beside him. Cedric smiled and pet him. "Maybe in a bit but, we're gonna work on training." He said petting Hugo.

Cedric talked with Zach and his son Eric, who was the same age as Cedric and had been helping his for a few years in training. "Okay Cedric go hide walk all around and through the pond he has to find you we don't want it to be easy." Zach said Hugo walked over as he saw Cedric run off. "Wait Hugo." He said grabbing his collar pulling him down to sit. Hugo sat and looked up at him. He sighed waiting, Zack kneeled down. "Find him." He said letting go Hugo. Hugo ran mit ff sniffing the ground and fallowed it to the river and tracked through the mud locked of the sent, or so he thought getting turned around and shook his fur. He found the sent again running over to Cedric and tackled him. "Got you!" He said, Cedric groaned jumping was one thin Hugo had a bad habit of. He held Cedric down. Cedric pushed him off flicking his nose. "Good find, no jumping. We've talked about this." He said petting Hugo. "Okay no jumping." Hugo said, jumping around and bowed playfully. Hugo was just a big playfully puppy in a very big wolf body.

Hugo fallowed Cedric and and looked around sniffing. "There's a snow storm coming master." He said he could sense it. You could tell it be cold winter but how fluffy Hugo got. He licked him and fallowed him home. Zach throw a chunk of meat. Hugo grabbed it chopping on it and swallowed it. Licking his face and shook his fur. "Good job, Hugo. He's getting a lot better with obedience. We been working a lot." Zach said, Eric smiled and ruffled Hugo's head. "He's best friends with Hunter now." He said "Hunter's getting so big from last time I saw him. He's 14 right? Same age as Hugo?" He asked, he nodded "yep he's an omega though so he'll be smaller." He said Hugo wagged his tail and punched in Hunter playing with him. "Good hopefully he can keep him company I'm gonna do homework." Cedric said.

Sure enough Hugo was right and a bad snow storm came in. He laid inside at Cedric's side as he did homework in the living room. "Well no school tomorrow so we can play and do some training." He said soon enough two little girls came in and climbed on Hugo. "Hey don't do that he doesn't like that. Play nicely with him." Cedric said, the Girls pet him and soo left Hugo groaned and shook his fur. "Good Job puppy. I know they can be a lot." He said, Sebastian came into the room. Scoffing seeing Hugo. "Your mutt really should be outside like  all the others. He's spoiled, probably why he doesn't listen to you." Sebastian said, he always hated Hugo for no reason. Hugo glared at him, "he listens, I don't beat my wolf either like you. Your wolf also tries to take off peoples heads so you have nothing to say." He said, Hugo stretched. "I don't beat him, he gets punished when he does shit I don't want him to do. Hugo is nothing more than a pampered mutt." He said, Cedric rolled his eyes. "You do what you wish with your beast. I'll do what I want with mine brother. Father has told you to back off now I am. You don't even let him in the stables with the guard mutts. He's chained up to a dog house he can hardly fit in." He said "how do you expect it to be a good fighter with it's not even cared for." Cedric added "he'll win or he'll be replaced. I'm not keeping a loser." He said

Hugo really hated Sebastian, the way he talk about his wolf and lead alone treat him. It wasn't his place to say anything but he knew more about the wolf than Sebastian did. He sighed looked at Cedric then at Sebastian. "And he's fine outside. It's a wolf yours has turned into a lap dog!" He said Cedric pounded his fist on the table shattering the glass. Hugo jumped at the glass shattering, whimpering nudging Cedric and jumped on the couch avoiding the glass. Sebastian scoffed "your mutt doesn't even know dogs aren't allowed on the couch." Sebastian said Cedric rolled his eyes and picked Cedric up Hugo. "He only did it to avoid the glass. He knows he's not allowed up on the couch." Cedric said Sebastian scoffed "whatever keep the mutt away. And have fun cleaning up the little mess." He said walking off Hugo growled softly and shook his fur.

Cedric shook his head and got his book and keep Hugo from the glass. Hugo frowned laying on the floor. "Master can I go outside for a little?" He asked, Cedric sighed nodding letting Hugo out. "Not to long it's to cold." He said Hugo nodded sneaking out with some of his dinner. He normally ate more than enough. He became good 'friends' with the cooks. He carried the stake out to a wooded box filled with a thin layer of hay. "Just me Blaze." He said putting the stake in the dog house. "Thanks Hugo, god it's cold even for me. Would help if he at least let me in the stable. He's such a..." he stopped himself and huffed. "Such a dick? Yeah he isn't just because he's your master doesn't mean he can act like this." Hugo said "we'll not much we can do about it." He said

Hugo sighed twitching his ears. "No but, you can say it he's not here. I wish I could do something." Fine shook his head. "You do enough kid, bringing me food and keeping me company." He said Hugo perked up hearing Cedric call. "I gotta go, howl if you need anything." He said walking back home. The snow was deep almost to Hugo's knees. He walked up the steps and shook the snow off and went inside. "Come on puppy, let's have a fire in my room and I'll do homework." He said, Hugo fallowed him up stair. Watching as Cedric used his power to make a small fire ball and put it in the wood that was in the fire place. Hugo curled up at Cedrics side letting him lean his book against him to keep it in the right page. He put his ears down and sighed. "Master I'm worried about Blaze. I know it's not my place but...it's cold out there. I was cold and I wasn't there for long and I'm fluffy." He said dropping his head. Cedric worked in his note book and sighed. "I know, and it's not your place but my dad isn't happy. He might be a wolf but he doesn't deserve that. Sadly there are few laws but dad not like it if it came out a wolf die in such conditions. He's making Sebastian move him in the stables. Maybe if he feed it and cared for it Blaze might win." He said, petting Hugo. "I know you went out to see him." He said, "I don't mind Sebastian would but he can't touch you." He said, Hugo leaned into the pets.

Hugo sleep at the foot of the bed, his head resting on Cedric's feet. Hugo jumped awake to the young girls screaming. He groaned and flopped down. Cedric got up and sighed getting dressed. "Breakfast Time then you get to play outside." He said, "I have something I think you'll like." Cedrics said, leading Hugo downstairs the girls ate quickly. Sebastian's face was sour. Huge sat outside the kitchen licking his lips and hug into the bowl filled with chicken and other raw meat. Drinking some water and laid down jumping to his feet and fallowed Cedric and he got bundled up as the little girls did Hugo jumped around and rolled in the snow. "My dad used to have a wolf he pull us on the sled, so I want you to try. Hunter is gonna help, my sisters are riding so don't just take off." Cedrics said putting a harness on him. "You like to run and this will make me happy." He said, Hugo sat as he was hooked up to a sled Hunter being beside him. Hugo was excited he loves the snow to run. The girls came up petting him and hugged them sitting in the sled. They were small enough that hey not weigh much. Cedric got on and smiled. "Okay boys go!" Cedrics called Hugo pulled wagging his tail high. Cedric went into town with the. Hunter panted as they stopped, "good boys. He said putting a leash on them. "Let's get them a treat girls. Then we'll get you two some hot coco and cookies for the way home." Cedric said walking into the wolf supply store. Hunter sniffed around fallowed Cedric around the girls staying close. After paying they left the store. Of course people didn't notice it was the price with all the gear. Hugo gently pulled the sled back home so the girls could have their hot coco and enjoy the ride. Hunter and Cedric walked along side.

After they got back Hugo went and found a spot to rest. Sebastian walking over, Hugo groaned and watching him. He had an neutral look across his face. Glaring as he passed Hugo. Hugo rolled his eyes walking off and sniffed around wagging his tail seeing a bunny. He chased after it letting out a loud yelp as a bear trap clasped around his paw. Howling and struggling in the trap. He didn't get why it be there it wasn't like he left land or anything. Hunter ran over with Eric. He quickly got Hugo out. Cedric ran over and grabbed Hugo. Hugo being bigger now but Cedric definitely still be able to pick him up. "Oh baby! Let me see, we're going to the doctor come on. Eric find out who set that after you get Hunter away from this area." He said Eric picked Hunter up and looked at the tracks seeing none what was odd with all the snow. "Will do." He said, Cedric ran Hugo back getting his paw wrapped Hugo whined flopping his side as he was keep inside. "Sorry pup no playing till Your healed." He said
