Chapter Twenty-Nine

A scream escaped from deep within my throat, and my family and friends scurried into my room. I was saved! Well...I would have been saved if I had screamed in the first place.

I was going to, when the cloak figure slapped a thick piece of tape over my mouth. Now, my only other option was to make a run for it. But unfortunately, I could not do that either for two reasons. I was connected to a bunch of machines, and the cloak figure was too fast for me. He pulled off the covers and got on top of me.

"Mmm!"

The figure put my wrists together and tied them with a piece of rope. He did the same with my ankles, removed the cords from my skin, and picked me up and swung me over his shoulder. Thank gosh that the doctors and nurses made me stay in my regular clothes. Otherwise, my kidnapper would be seeing things that are off limits.

"Mmm!"

The kidnapper pushed up the window in my room and leaped out. He fell a pretty long distance and landed on his feet. I was worried that I would be injured from the fall, however, this guy knew what he was doing.

Should I be afraid that he knows what he is doing?

As the cloak figure walked to an empty part of town with my bottom practically in front of his face, I thought to myself because I could not tell him or her out loud that I did not appreciate the so-called "help."

What else should I say? Thanks for shutting me up and tying my wrists and ankles and forcing me from the very place that is giving the help that I need. I could not have died without you.

I was beginning to get bored of doing nothing and being this guy's victim and looking over - and I mean over - my kidnapper's shoulder and viewing what we had passed and what was fading in the distance. This may come as a shock to you readers, but I was so bored that I yawned and almost fell asleep.

I know, right? Here I am. Kidnapped by who knew who and taking to who knew where, and I was concerned about sleeping. I sure am abnormal.

The cloak figure soon halted - and threw me down a hole. A large, deep hole that was, of course, entirely out of dirt.

I reached the bottom, and my stomach hit the hard ground. I glanced straight ahead of me - and could not believe what - or in this case, who - I was seeing.

The Monster Protectors. They were there too!

"Mmm?"

McKinley set a small cup that he had been holding down on a table and laid his eyes on me. He said, "Enoch was a success. He brought you here."

Enoch?

The figure was now looming over me and untied my wrists and ankles and carefully ripped the tape off my mouth. I scrambled to my feet and frowned at him.

"Thanks for the concussion," I said sarcastically. I faced McKinley. "Who is Enoch?"

"That would be me," my kidnapper replied. He pulled off his cloak and tossed it aside. I recognized who he was.

Wendow and Triso's oc.
