Chapter Twenty-One
BAILEY'S P.O.V.
Beep, beep!
"What is that beeping noise?" I asked Paige and the fairies.
Turns out that Blue's wristwatch was making those obnoxious sounds. He tapped it, causing the beeps to stop, and read the time. "Dang. It is after five o'clock. The humans are not kidding when they say that time flies fast," he said. He closed the book and handed it to Orange. "Please put this book back in its correct spot."
Orange took the book and flapped her wings. "I am only obeying you because it is what God wants me to do. Obey good people and all."
She disappeared with the book, and Blue shifted his attention back to us. "Gather your things because you are going to the jailhouse."
As you might have imagined, Paige and I were in utter shock. I was so taken aback that I fell out of my chair. Blue must have made a huge mistake. We are far from perfect, but we are not criminals.
Paige slammed her palms on the table. "You have to be pulling our leg, Blue," she stated. "You must be."
Blue floated into the air. "No joke. God has spoken. You two are going to jail for a long time."
