Chapter Nineteen

Sophia slowly raised a hand. "May I ask a question, Mary Sue?"

"Sure. Ask me anything. I will not murder you."

"Why did you put ketchup on your face?"

I was ticked that Sophia would ask that and glared at her. "Really, Sophia? Really?" I said. "Mary Sue shoots a huge group made up of real worlders, and that is your first question?"

She met my gaze and rubbed her arm, looking embarrassed. "I am sorry, Cassandra. I thought that you already knew why she shot those real worlders. I know that I do."

"So do I, Sophia. It is just...ugh! Regardless whether a person knows the reason or not, a sane person would ask a wicked killer why she would want to take the life of another."

Mary Sue shrugged her shoulders. "You should ask the real worlders who murder their own kind if you are curious, Cassandra. However, that would take a long time because all real worlders are murderers in different ways. Like those darn media warriors."

"You mean that group who hates white people and tries to please everybody who is not white or straight?" Kathy guessed correctly.

"The one and only."

Kathy crossed her arms. "I cannot stand those people. I feel bad for all the good media warriors. Did Cassandra tell you that some media warriors came by Forlot and demanded Caleb Night to be removed from the series because he is everything that they hate? A white male who is straight and a Christian."

I honestly wished that my partner had not told the Caleb part to Mary Sue. Despite the fact that Mary Sue was crazy and had no respect for any real worlders, she did have the uttermost respect for Caleb Night. She loves Caleb - not romantically - and would not hesitate to shoot a real worlder who hates him, especially if he or she demands to be banned from this series. So she became outraged.

"They demanded what?!" She turned to me with her eyes bulging from their sockets. "Why did you not tell me this sooner, Cassandra?"

"You were not in Forlot," I replied, trying to be as calm as possible. "You were in the real world when it happened. But Ash handled them. She gave them heck."

She let out a heavy sigh and massaged her forehead. "You guys should have locked them up until I returned from my spree. I would have taken care of them in ten seconds."

I clenched my hands into fists. "You mean that you would kill them."

"Precisely. We would have been better off without them. Just like that we will be better off without real worlders. Period."

I rubbed the bridge of my nose and came close to her. I let Sophia watch over the injured man. "Look here, Mary Sue. I know that real worlders are not perfect. Some real worlders are good. Some are wicked. Some love God. Some refuse Him. However, regardless of their opinions no matter how right or wrong they are, those opinions do not change the fact that God created them. They are God's children. And you know how the Lord feels when one of His own children murders another? Mary Sue? Mary Sue!"

Mary Sue hurried past me and entered the man's shop. I chased after her and saw that she was admiring the shirts on the wall.

Now before I go on with this chapter, I need to inform you readers that Trump - you know which one - will be mentioned a few times. Whether or not you are a Trump supporter, please be respectful and note that whatever Mary Sue does in this book is part of her character.

For those of you who are easily offended, too bad. Suck it up.

There were plenty of shirts to choose from, and each one was hanging on the wall by a hanger that was hanging on a nail.

Mary Sue tapped her foot. "Which shirt should I wear that will easily offend the real worlders? Oh, I know."

She jumped up and grabbed a shirt, yanking it off its hanger. Believe it or not, she had picked out a Trump shirt. It had his face plastered on the front.

"Mary Sue!" I exclaimed angrily.

"What is the matter, Cassandra? Are you offended by Trump?"

"Of course not. I have respect for the guy."

"Ooh. You hear that?"

"Hear what?

"Those are the anti-Trump supporters booing you."

"I do not care if they boo me. It is my opinion."

She put on the shirt. "I am happy that you support him. I support him too."

"Oh. So you actually like a real worlder."

"Supporting and liking are two different things. I just want to tick the real worlders off."

"You do realize that some of them like the man."

"Do not worry. I will cross that bridge when I get there."

Mary Sue walked over to the mirror and did a few poses. I followed her tail and asked her point blank if she would spare any real worlders. She surely would not rid the world of true Christians...would she?

"Are there specific groups that you are targeting? Black people? Atheists? Gays? 'Cause if you are, I will protect them from you."

She looked at me. "I am not doing this for Christianity. I am doing this because real worlders have ticked me off for far too long. Christians count as real worlders, so they will be my focus as well."

"Then I will protect them as well."

She brought her face close to mine until our noses were touching. "There are billions and billions of real worlders. You are just one fictional character. You do not stand a chance."

"Try me. I will protect them all because that is what our writer would want me to do."

She looked at me like that I had lost my mind and scooted away. "I dare that you ask our writer how she feels."
