Taehyung parked his bike by the banks of a lake adorned with cherry blossoms. He called out to Jungkook, but received no response. Finding Jungkook resting on his shoulder, Taehyung stayed silent, letting the moment linger for a while.
"Just five more minutes, let's stay like this, hyung... I always dreamed about this moment," Jungkook murmured.
Without a word, Taehyung allowed him to stay, embracing the tranquility of the scene.
"Come on, Jungkook... I want to talk with you," Taehyung eventually said, gently coaxing Jungkook to park the bike and join him on the wooden seats beside the river.
"Hug me, it's so cold," Jungkook requested, holding Taehyung's hand as they settled on the bench.
"What do you want to say, hyung?" Jungkook asked,
"Why do you love me, Jungkook?" Taehyung inquired.
"Because... don't you remember? Everyone blamed me for my mother's death, except you... I know she died because of me, but you're the only one who supported me," Jungkook replied, his voice tinged with emotion.
"I know the situation, Jungkook... I was the only witness... I wanted to save you, even though I knew your mother wasn't a good person... That's why I lied," Taehyung explained.
"That's why I love you, hyung... You're the only one who understands my mother's intentions. She wanted to kill us to be with her lover... But promise me, hyung, it was an accident..." Jungkook confessed, his words heavy with guilt.
"It's okay... don't say that again," Taehyung reassured him, gently touching Jungkook's face.
"You're the only one who supports me, even when my father and brother hate me," Jungkook continued.
"I know... but Jungkook, to me, you're like a child... like a brother," Taehyung responded softly.
"A brother? No way... I'm your wife, and I'll be the mother of your children," Jungkook laughed.
"It's not like that, Jungkook... you need to understand something about someone who's loved you since school, even before knowing who you truly are," Taehyung said, his tone gentle yet firm.
"I don't want to... I love only you. If you reject me,... Hyung, please don't leave me... I... I will die... Please..." Jungkook pleaded, his desperation evident.
"Kooki..." Taehyung cupped his face tenderly, using the nickname only he knew.
"Kooki? It's nice to hear from you..." Jungkook's tears fell freely as he embraced Taehyung.
"I love someone else, Jungkook... and it's your brother," Taehyung finally confessed.
"You're lying... you're lying..." Jungkook cried out, unable to accept the truth.
Suddenly, Jungkook lashed out, hitting Taehyung. "No... I love you, I only love you... Please, hyung, don't do this to me..."
Taehyung's heart ached at the sight of Jungkook's anguish. "Don't cry, Kooki... please... you'll find someone who's like an angel to you... believe me..."
"I don't want that... I want only you," Jungkook sobbed.
"Kooki, you know who loves you, it's your fa—" Taehyung's sentence was interrupted by a call from Jimin.
"Wait... Hello, Jimin?" Taehyung's voice shook with worry. "Where are you? What happened?"
"I... I..." Jimin's voice faltered before the call disconnected abruptly.
Taehyung glanced at Jungkook, fear gripping his heart. "Jimin... he's in trouble. Come on, let's go..."
Rushing to Jimin's location, they found his car parked outside a bar. Inside, after some inquiry and a heated confrontation, they discovered Jimin in a compromising situation.
"Jimin!" Taehyung called out, rushing to his side. "Help me get him dressed," he instructed Jungkook, his concern evident.
Jungkook nodded, quickly assisting Taehyung in covering Jimin and gathering his belongings.
Together, they carried Jimin out of the bar, determined to get him to safety.

Jimin slowly opened his eyes. "Where am I?" he asked.
"On the dance floor," Taehyung replied, handing him a glass of water.
"Hmm?" Jimin looked around. "Hospital!"
"Yes, yesterday night you were completely out of it. What the hell did you drink?" Taehyung scolded.
"I don't know," Jimin said, staring at the ceiling. Suddenly, he remembered the conversation between Jin and Jungkook. "Taehyung," he called out.
"What?" Taehyung glared at him.
"Can I ask you something? About Jungkook," Jimin requested.
"Just a moment, you were here with me. Just go home. I'll try to talk to you about it later, but it's okay, we have time," Taehyung reassured him.
"Okay," Jimin nodded. "Don't judge too quickly," he reminded himself.
*********
The evening had arrived, and it was time for their party. Everything had been arranged perfectly.
"Jimin, can we go?" Taehyung asked.
"Yes," Jimin nodded in agreement.
"You should confess everything to Jungkook today. Otherwise, it will cause even more of a fuss. Okay?" Taehyung insisted.
"Hmm," Jimin simply hummed in response.
"You really should, Jimin... I'm serious," Taehyung reminded him once more.
"Yeah," Jimin acknowledged.
"What's going on with this boy? Come on, let's go," Taehyung said as he walked ahead.
Jimin stared at the chain he had found in his coat, lost in thought.
