Fail or Fall? Both Hold Same Meaning After All......
"STOP IT YOU TWO!!" roared a female voice from the corner. As I looked at the source's holder, it was Madelin. Yeah, the shadow demon. But to be surprised to see that two men actually retreating away from each other.
Clicking his tongue, Dans wore a displeased expression on his face, "If they failed, then it your fault!"
Knitting his eyebrows, Shin punched the desk fiercely, "And why would they fail?! I a perfect man!"
I huffed in an auditable tone catching both men's attention as I focused my eyes on Shin, "Because you were giving them a curriculum which wasn't within their course of studies!"
"Oh my goodness! That's terrible!" I heard Yura exclaiming from where she stood behind me which her presence was unknown to me. "Isn't there anyway to prevent that?"
"But you haven't informed me about it!" Shin exclaimed overwhelmed by shock as he glanced at me, "How was am I supposed to know?!"
"If it was a different curriculum, we could have said that it was a mistake." Stated Dans, "But for it to be a college degree curriculum, then this is totally on a different level!" He barked.
The man directed his attention back to Dans, "But it is my first time teaching!" And as expected. I facepalmed.
"WOW!!" Looking behind me, a certain Drulf entered the room, "a college degree?!" Her eyes twinkled. No wonder it was that much surprising even to her. "It was even hard for me to master!" She threw her bag aside as she ran to Shin greeting him with a hug which I have never seen in my whole life such a reaction or a way of greeting at all, "Good Morning, Shin! Teach me~" and my mouth was left ajar the second she directed a wink at him. I never knew she was intending to catch him anyways. She was literally stealing him for herself! That cat theif! She was flirting with him in front of the whole staff room as well.... what the hell did that woman come from?!
I placed my bag on my desk as I existed the staff room making my way to my class to check up on him. If I have scolded him further for carrying out a test at an unallowed timing, it would have brought about another argument. If I am this much in misery, then what about their state?
Walking through the hall, my mind kept me busy from the outer environment. Well, who wouldn't be? After all, it's a matter of time. New surprises arise everyday. And here am I wondering what to do and where to start. Isn't it funny for thinking about such odd things? I reached a classroom holding the doorknob and entering, but to be greeted by a teacher whom I've never met before standing and teaching them in my and Shin's place. Who could he be? I thought to myself as I glanced at the students, but to revive the shock of seeing different faces, forget about younger ones.
Yikes! I instantly exited the room shutting the door behind me, "So sorry!" I apologized from the other side behind the door. It seems like I've entered the wrong classroom. What the hell am I even thinking? I finally reached the level where I am entering places which I don't know where am I. Hell is surely coming... I thought to myself just before being collided with the running boy. The impact was too much for him; bouncing back, he fell.
"Are you alright?" I asked the boy before revealing his face to me. It's Chris! My student. "Chris, what are you doing here at such a time?"
The boy didn't stand on his feet, perhaps he stood on his knees, intertwining his hands, "Please!" He begged, "Save our future, Mrs. Midori!"
That was coming out of nowhere. I couldn't even process that as one of the things happening in real life or was it just one of my crazy hallucinations? "What happened?"
"I just managed to escape from the classroom...." the boy's eyes just became teary, it was obvious that he was on the verge of crying. "I SUCCEEDED IN ESCAPING FROM THAT HELL OF EXAMINATION CLASSROOM!!" He yelled as his voice echoed across the hallway.
"Don't cry...." I was about to speak the words which is my reason for being here, but my tongue was tied enough by chains.
"No..." no? "IT'S THE TEARS OF JOY!" Once again, the boy screamed as he stood on his two feet.
"I am going to fix this," I reassured him, "just go back and--"
"NO WAY IN HELL!" the boy refused neglecting my orders as he dashed right across me into the corridor, "IT'S A THREE-DIMENTIONAL SAVANNA!" He yelled again before completely disappearing out of sight. Savanna? Well that is too much...
Taking a few more steps and reaching to my respective classroom, I knocked the door before entering, and I saw an actually savanna. WHAT THE HELL?! THE BOY WAS ACTUALY RIGHT! My train of thoughts beeped in my mind the moment I was greeted by their proctor. Or if he was supposed to be addressed as one..... Well, the tattoo on his both arms and the cigarette in his mouth didn't show him to be addressed as so although it was obvious that there was a 'No smoking' sign everywhere in the school, let alone a classroom and especially am examination room.
"What is there?! Are you to be examinated?!" The so-called Procter growled at me. For a moment, I thought I would have fainted at the second he narrowed his eyes at me. It was like I was shot by an arrow for real, let alone a bullet. I was even more shocked to know that he doesn't even know that I am one of the school teachers....
"She is our homeroom teacher...." and to look at the other side, Thomas has already spoken in my place.
"Huh?!" The proctor took out what seemed like, WHAT?! It was a pocket knife, "who gave you permission to talk?!"
"I am sorry!" The boy stood from his chair as he sat on all his fours bowing his head to the ground, "I am terribly sorry!!"
"Complete your test or you're done for it!" Shouted the proctor, or who seemed like a man who thought he was still at a middle of a world war or somehting. What kind of education is that?! Military or something?! From where does that monster exist?!Thoughts rushed on my mind that I could feel the blood in my head boiling over. "You're a teacher, huh?!"
I couldn't say anything, but to nod my head.
"WHAT TYPE OF TEACHER WHO'D BE LATE AT HER CLASS?!" And hence, I was being scolded while I stood in my place, let alone in front of the students, and let alone as if I were a student myself.
"Sorry, I came to check their test papers...."
"Alright." And thanks to the deities that this was the only word he wasn't barking on as he uttered it out.
Turning to the class, I asked, "Who'll be giving me their test paper to check the questions?" And I knew I was being their saviour the moment everybody raised their test papers.... I sweatdropped, sighing.
