Juniper didn't come down as Vision and Wanda had a visit from the doctor. She wasn't particularly interested in a man that 'knew more' then her, she was far much more better then him to care.

Scratched and bruises cover her again, her body ached and her lungs were burning, so whilst they were dealing with it all, Juniper was trying to rest the past the pain.

She felt drowsy and tired. She needed a rest. But she couldn't sleep, no the pain was to much for that and she couldn't trust that the spirits wouldn't hurt her more.

Westview was really messing up her control.

But time was moving slowly and Juniper grew bored. So she had the silly idea to join Vision and Wanda in the newly made baby nursery.

A butterfly flew to her, landing on her nose. The twenty five year old laughed softly, letting her eyes flutter open and closed softly to not scare the creature.

"Hmm, Tommy. Yeah, yeah. Then there's Billy, isn't there? Named after Shakespeare. 'All the world's a stage. All the men and women, merely players.'"

"Ah, baby names. There's always Tommy or Peter or Scott or Anthony or Clint or Bruce or Steve or James or Sam or Nick." Juniper went on to list, each of the names rang familiar to her. She merely brushed them off as maybe the spirits names.

"I said Tommy." Wanda said, she tried to ignore the other names Juniper had mentioned. She knew those names and she wasn't too sure how she felt about her best friend knowing them. Would she loose Juniper again?

When Wanda lost Juniper, her best friend, on New Year's Day of two thousand and eighteen, she was heart broken. But she had Vision to help her for a rather short time period.

Wanda had known Juniper for a long time, only a few days after she joined the Avengers, and the girls had gotten along straight away. Juniper helped her, reminding her that is she ever needed anything, a shoulder to cry on, a person to rant to or even someone to sit in silence with, Juniper Lea was the one to go to. Wanda appreciated this, and took up the offer.

They became best friends pretty quickly, and never did she regret it. Not even when she mourned for her best friend when she had killed herself, not when she had to protect Vision from Thanos. She never resented Juniper for her actions, but only wished she hung on longer, maybe life would of gotten better.

It was Juniper Lea and Wanda Maximoff against the world. But Wanda feared Juniper was remembering. She couldn't loose her again, so the girl checked Junipers mind for any remembrance, there was nothing. Wanda was safe, with her best friend and lover with her.

She just needed her brother to finish the mix.

"Well, what if it's a girl." Juniper added. "Maybe Natasha or Pepper or Juniper, or Maria, but Juniper is definitely the way to go."

Wanda and Vision chucked at their dear friend.

Wanda finished of the room, giddy smiles on the groups faces.

"Well, we ought to decide soon, I estimate he baby's due," Vision looked of in thought, bring his book close to his chest. Wanda and Juniper looked at each other, sharing a look, "it's not a constant progression, assuming logarithmic, but where I go graph the development thus far —"

"He's gonna be here before you figure it out."

"— nearest I can conclude is that Billy —"

"Tommy."

"Juniper Jr." Juniper mused.

"— is due Friday afternoon."

"In three days. Maybe I should sit down." Wanda gasped.

Juniper's estimation was a bit different. She assumed by the end of that day. The doctor had said her best friend was four months past, and Juniper knew this cause she made constant checks by the staircase, and it had only been twelve hours since the baby was conceived. Four times two was eight, add one made nine. So she presumed another twelve or so hours, maybe a bit longer, and the baby would be born. So over all it should be by the end of that day. It was a reasonable assumption, it was only morning so twelve hours or so brought them to late afternoon or evening.

Juniper was sat in her mirror, watching as some of the scratches hadn't healed. A few even bled. She was in pain and tears had slowly began to fall down her cheeks.

She wanted to be normal and not affected by the dead.

She was covered in bruised and normally light scratches that went away with water and some moisturiser, but the more recent ones were leaving light marks or bleeding or leaving scars in their presences.

Juniper felt weak for crying, but there wasn't much else she could do, she didn't want to bother Wanda or Vision, they were expecting a baby, and her bothering them over something as meaningless as this was pointless.

Junipers light went out.

Well, at least she didn't have to see her face.

Juniper made her way down the stairs after drying her eyes and wiping the blood away. "Who's secret?"

"Ours."

"We have a se — oh, yes! The extraordinary abilities." Juniper muttered, taking a seat on the sofa.

"Yes, I know what you mean." Vision said slowly, cautiously taking steps towards the girls. "But it's more then that, isn't it?"

Juniper furrowed her brows in thought, she never really had any close calls. Then again her powers were easy to control, minus the dead trying to posses her. Some were very determined despite her lack of consent, like, the other day when Juniper collapsed down the stairs after a man tried to posses her — despite her saying no — Wanda only just caught her with her magic before the girl could smash her head against anything. Juniper only blacked out for a minute, having quickly won the battle for her body and mind.

Vision took a seat on the other side of Wanda, his eyes look off as he thought about their lives in Westview. "Mr and Mrs Hart, dinner. Outside with Herb. I think something's wrong here, Wanda."

She wasn't the only one confused. Juniper didn't get why everything was fuzzy and why Westview was strange and it seemed Vision was on the same page as her.

"Yes, I know what you mean." Vision stated. Wanda blinked at him and Juniper tilted her head in thought. "The truth is, we are in unchartered waters." He said, taking a seat on the other side of Wanda. "And you know what? I'm anxious, too." He promised, his head closer to his lover, looking at her with adoration and promises of the world.

Ah, to be lonely and single. Poor Juniper all by herself, a constant third wheel. Then again, she had no desire for a romantic relationship.

"We just don't know what to expect."

"Nope."

"Will the baby be human or Synthezoid? A bit of both?"

Juniper pursed her lips, watching the couple as she wished for great entertainment.

"If he's anything like his ma, Billy will be perfect." He whispered.

"Juniper Jr."  Juniper whispered to herself.

It was times like this Juniper wanted a man. She wanted the cuteness and the love and the times that people 'awed'. She wanted the unconditional love and hope and respect that came with a relationship. But Juniper was scared of rejection and heart break. She didn't want a relationship that would leave her hurting but one that finished of the jigsaw puzzle that was her life.

Juniper wanted all of this, until she remembered her 'attraction' had never been romantic. She had sexual relationships, she had friendships and found families but never had she ever felt romantically connected to someone. Juniper Lea was aromantic and proud.

Despite Juniper being aromantic, she couldn't help but want to be 'normal' and be like everyone else, she wanted to be what people expected — but she wasn't

All Juniper had was Wanda and Vision, and soon the dear child or children Wanda was to birth.

"I think you mean Tommy."

"Juniper jr, duh." Juniper had whispered a bit louder

Wanda gasped in pain and the other two looked down at the stomach with the 'oh fuck' look.

"Oh, no! Darling, are you all right?" Vision asked, panic and fear running through his worlds as he got off the sofa.

"This is a real one!"

"What?!"

"I thought you said Friday afternoon!" Wanda looked at the floating Vision in annoyance.

Oh! Junipers assumptions were right, who would of thought. Totally not Juniper — or Tony who had watched Juniper with concern in the mirror as she cleaned herself up.

"Well, I didn't consider that the timings between development benchmarks could be quite random!"

Vision whimpered, Wanda went over the breathing exercise and Juniper offered her hand for Wanda to squeeze. The woman was quick to grab it and Juniper did her best to ignored the pain.

Her best friends life and the baby were more important then one hand. Juniper breathed deeply, pushing down her panic as she helped keep Wanda feeling safe and calm.

Vision copied the breathing exercises, allowing him to calm down and get to the ground.

Once Wanda was in a lot less pain, the duo of girls stood up, Wanda's hand still holding Junipers as they met Vision.

"Better?" The pregnant lady asked.

The robot said something in agreement.

But something interrupted their calmness as rain rained down on them. Juniper screwed up her face in distaste, her short pale blonde hair dampened with water, and droplets slowly made their way down her face.

"Vis, J."

"Yes, dear?"

"I think my water just broke." Wanda stated.

"Yes, Wanda." Juniper agreed.

Only moments had passed but the trio could be found under the table, getting away from the water.

Juniper hated how water felt, it made her feel like her throat or rather air ways were tightening up, the burning densely in her lungs got worse and her aching mind hurt more, as though even more oxygen wasn't getting to it, it made her body generally ache as though carbon dioxide over weighed oxygen. It was horrible and it was painful but for now she had do ignore it, Wanda was more important.

"Well, I was just reading about the advantages of water birth." Vision stated, holding his jacket close as he looked at the rain.

Wanda sighed. "Oh, thank goodness." She said as the place dried up.

Oh, thank goodness indeed.

Vision was the first to climb out, he helped Wanda out as Juniper got up herself, checking over the couple.

"Oh, what a mess." Wanda said after some grunts of pain, looking around at the wet area. She was quick to use her powers to dry the place, her and Juniper enjoyed the blow of wind whilst Vision tried not to blow away.

"Darling, do you think it time to —"

"Call the doctor?"

"Yeah."

Wanda grabbed Juniper's hand once again and the woman smiled at her.

Vision tried the phones, but along with the lights, they had gone down too. He raced to the door, and with that the girls were left alone.

Juniper tried her best, the only problem was, she wasn't a midwife or a doctor or a nurse, Juniper was just Juniper and that wasn't too useful.
