I found myself locked in my cupboard, I groaned, I was on the floor? I slowly sat up  grabbing my bed for support, I layed on my bed.

I heard someone come in, Hazel?

"Hey Blayke, dad told me to tell you that a child protection service person is coming over tomorrow cause of a abuse situation, he just wants you to have no bruises they're all gonna have to be covered up got it," She said

"Yes sis" I said

"Sit up" She said

"I can't" I said it really hurt to move

"Sit up!" She yelled

I slowly sat up with all my strength

"I'm going with parker tomorrow so Don't blow this" She said then left

I collapsed on my bed.

I fell asleep way to tired.

I woke up to pounding on the door, it opened, "GET READY NOW!" I heard

I winced at the voice but said, "yes sis"

I got read in a nicer dress then went to then got told to stay in my cupboard.

An hour later I got told to come out, I saw a woman and her son, wait her son was Alex?!

"Hi sweetie, your Blayke right" The woman asked, I nodded,"come talk"

I sat next to my dad very tense,

"Hi Blayke" Alex said

I smiled slightly, and waved.

I didn't want to get beaten up again so I stayed quiet. They asked me a few questions. They asked my dad to leave I relaxed.

"Sweetie tell us some things, does your father drink?" The woman asked

"At parties... " I lied

"Does he smoke" She asked, "I found a cigarette under the coffee table"

"Ya, he does but he usually goes outside..." I lied again

I kept my face to ground

"Are you scared of your dad" She asked

"I mean he's big and tough but wouldn't hurt me" I lied

They asked me more questions and I lied almost every time.

They soon started to leave, this was my chance to tell them, "wait" I said

My dad looked at me stern faced

I cowered, "I just wanted to say... thanks"

Alex talked to me before my dad pulled me inside, I mouthed, "help me"

As soon as he could he brought me to the back room and started beaten me up. I cried in pain as the bruises overlapped and the cuts and scraps. I heard the door open. Cops came in, I curled up into a ball.

I felt someone pick me up and put me into their lap. I cried.

"Hey it's ok Blayke, you're safe now" I heard

I looked and saw Alex,he hugged me and I hugged him and started sobbed.

A couple moments we pulled apart. Alex looked at my face and touched a my cheek gently. I felt a bruise there.

I leaned on him I felt like I couldn't breathe. I suddenly passed out.

I heard beeping? I felt something holding my hand and something going into my arm? I opened my eyes and heard, "She's waking up"

I saw a girl doctor and Alex?

"Hi sweetie" The doctor said, "how you feeling"

I shrugged. My body ached and I was just weak in general.

"Blayke, what's wrong" Alex asked

I shrugged I didn't want to talk

"You wanna talk" The doctor asked

I shook my head

"Alright you don't have to" She said, "you're gonna have to stay for a bit just because you're too weak at the moment to do much"

I nodded and looked down.

"I'll let you rest" She left

"What's wrong Blayke" Alex asked

I didn't talk for a bit till I finally I took a deep breath "what's going to happen to me, I don't have anywhere too go" I said

"It's ok, they've found you a place to stay" He said, "just rest, alright,"

I nodded. I rubbed my thumb over his hand, calming down, falling back to sleep.

I woke up alone, I opened my eyes and no one was there, I slowly sat up, it hurt a bit but I layed back on the pillow. The door opened, the same  doctor from earlier and a man came in.

"Hi sweetie" She said, "how are you feeling now"

"Um... Achey?" I said

"Alright sweetie, that's what the IV is for," She said, "hey do you want to see someone?"

I nodded,

She motioned for the man to come over.

"Hi Blayke" He said

I looked... UNCLE MIKE!

"Uncle Mike!" I said excitedly

He came over and Hugged me, we didn't see the doctor leave.

When we pulled apart he knelt next to the hospital bed and said, "Blayke, it's really you," He kissed my cheek and held my hand,

I smiled, "uh huh" I sniffled and started crying softly, but I wasn't said I was happy?

"Hey what's wrong" He asked

"I-i'm just... So h-happy to s-see you a-again" I said

"I'm glad to see you too," He said, "and guess what"

"What" I asked

"After you're out of the hospital you're gonna come live with me" He said

"Really!" I said not believing what I just heard.

He nodded.

"Thank you! thank you! thank you!" I said tears going down my face

He hugged me, "always..."

I smiled and hugged back, "always"
