The Other Voices

Leila's P.O.V.

I lay in the room Zalgo assigned me to, staring up at the ceiling. I was contemplating everything that's happened so far. I was a normal teenage girl. Happy family. Great sister, then comes along Slender. Started stalking me and driving me to a breaking point. I wouldn't crack though. Oh no, there was no way I was going to give in to that bastard.  Kidnaps me and knocks me out. Erases my mermories. I shiver as I remember being tied down to that chair in the cold room. Reborn as Leila. Making my way through my new creepy pasa life. Luna. I smile, Luna was always my favorite. Jack, BEN, Hoodie. Going to school. Meeting my friends. Goldy, of course. Sleepover. Regain of Araceli. Going back to the mansion. Fake memories. Luna again. Toby. Lyra. Coma. Marking. Elane. Liu.

Oh yeah, I have a marking now. I pull up my sleeve and see the O with an X over it. The idea use to excite me so much, but now, it's a sickening sight. I hate it. Oh now, hate is a strong word.  I ignore the thought. I've been getting those ver since I've regained my memories. As I look around the room for the hundreth time, I can't help but look at everything differently. Do you know how they say no one can feel the exact same thing? I think the same goes for the eyes. Everything looks different. When I was 'Leila', everything seemed brighter, more full or life. Everything was amazing to me and had a purpose. But now. Everything looks duller and darker. It's not the same. I don't feel like I'm me anymore. I'm not Leila. And I'm not Carmen. I feel different from when I was them. Carmen was loving, sarcastic, and cared for her loved ones. Leila was like her, but more caring and adventurous. She loved everyone and was forgiving, she saw beauty in everything. I'm neither though. I'm completely different from them. Knock, Knock. The sound interuppeted my thoughts. "Come in" I yelled monotonously. The door opened and entered a man I didn't regonize. At least, not at first.

"Wylie?" Wylie?! What is he doing here?

"Hey there, Leila." He waved shyly. Hello!

"I'm not Leila." I stated, then looked back at the ceiling.

"What's wrong with you?" He asked, coming over and sitting at the edge of the bed, pulling me down some. Wow. Blunt, I see. I don't like you.

"I'm only telling you the truth. I was playing the role Leila, an act I never knew I auditioned for."

"Deep. But this isn't Supernatural or something. So knock it off." He said. I looked over at him before looking back to my spot. I might be willing to give him another chance. Oh, stop. That's not the Wylie I know.

"What's up with you?"

"No, don't you pull that on me, Leila. This is about you, not me." I'm Leila though...

"Really? Cause last I'm aware of is Silva and Jeff telling me you were beat to death by your father!" I said raising my voice slightly. Don't! "I'm guessing you caused the 'accident' too?"

"Yeah." Poor, Wylie. What're talking about? He's fine.

"And you don't care at all?" Why should he?

"Nope." What's wrong with him? Come on, that's the third time that question has been asked. Learn bigger words.

"You should! He was your damn father!" Oh, bad-word. So intimidataing.

"He tried beating me to death. I wasn't going to let that slide." But becoming a pasta..?

"Even Jeff feels remorse about his parents!" I recalled when I had asked him about his family. He was really uncomfterable talking about it, and he loves bragging about his kills.

"Well Jeff's parents didn't try killing him!" Well I mean... Carmen, I can't argue with this one.

"Even so, you should at least feel somewhat saddened! What about your mother? You left her!" Ooh, she pulled the mother card! It's about to go down! Don't encourage her!

"So?"

"How do you think she feels? I didn't have an option in leaving! Little dickhead forced me to, if I could go back to see my parents one last time, I would!" He stayed quiet after that. "You really should've given more thought into your mom. She's probably moping over both you and your dad's death right now."

"When did you learn those profanities?"

"I told you, I'm not Leila." That's right!

"Then who are you?" I don't like this one. He's dumb. No, he's not.

"I'm not sure." I sighed. Don't get mad at Wylie. He's upset. Comfort him. Shut it. He did it. Now he's paying for his actions. He was under stress. It makes you do things you don't want or mean to. "I use to be named Carmen. You know, before I became a pasta."

"Carmen, huh? So that's your name?"

"Nope. I'm not her either. I think she's dead." She is dead, to be technical. You witnessed it, right? Yeah.. Gruesome sight, but I can't complain. I enjoyed it.

"What do you mean?" He asked, startled. What'd I tell you?

"Well, from what I'm hearing, Leila is still in me. I can hear her trying to talk to you." You weren't suppose to tell him. I say you just kill him. "Then, there's this other voice. I'm not sure who that is though." You seriously don't know my name? How did I never notice you? I glanced over at him to see him giving me a look. "What?"

"You hear multiple voices inside your head?" I laughed at that. Idiot. Of course she does. You think her yes are her only power? That's pretty lame. Are you mocking our eyes? Maybe.

"Yeah. You're a pasta too. At least mine arn't out of control like Liu's." I laughed again.  You shouldn't make fun of Liu like that. It isn't nice. She should do whatever she likes. I still thinks she should kill that Wylie guy. No! Wylie is our friend! Correction, sweetheart, your friend. Not ours. I groaned.

"What?" Wylie asked me.

"They're arguing now." You're telling him that too? He is our friend, it's only right.

"About?"

"Killing you." He looked at me with startled eyes. See? Look at that. He probably doesn't even know basic self-defense moves. He can go down in three seconds flat. One with the Elucidtor. Stop saying that, he's still our friend. Keep dreaming, sweetheart. He's not my type. "No offense, but can you leave? I'm tired and they won't stop arguing until you're gone or something."

"If you answer one last question for me." Ugh, of course.

"Which is?"

"How is Leila and that other chick in your mind or whatever?" No he didn't. Did he just call me a chick? He did. He is dead. Let me take control! I want to kill him! Calm down, Slender's rule not to kill other pastas. Zalgo didn't mention any rules. He's probably more strict about it. He's probably even more strict about it then Slender. The other voice got quiet, knowing that Leila was probably telling the truth.

"I think since I regained my memories, Leila was overwhelmed by it so she was pushed back or whatever. Since I'm suppose to be the original Carmen or something, it shifted me and I guess became the superior being. Leila just never noticed this other person within her." He sat there for a while until finally getting up and saying Good-Bye. No fair, he didn't answer any of my questions. He can't hear you hun. Shhh. Carmen wants to sleep now.

"I told you. I'm not Carmen." I said to Leila. What are we suppose to call you then? I thought about it for a while. I don't really have any other name and I can't call myself Leila. Mhm, it's what I thought. Go to bed now. Goodnight!

"Goodnight." I replied. This is crazy. As I was drifting off into slumber, I heard the other one mumble, Not for long.

(A/N: Okay, did everyone get that? No? Yes? Just comment if you have a question about anything I wrote in here. XD This is the official 50 chapter! I think the next chapter will be last one. Thank you all for reading and commenting! It means a lot to me!)
