Sorry...?

Leila's P.O.V.

I awake to here a muffled sobbing sound. I try to lift my eyelids, but to no avail.

"I-I'm so sorry, L-Lyra!" I hear a voice sob, I then hear a few things crack. Toby. Hoodie had spoken to me about his sister. I gasp internally. The last thing I remember is Hoodie holding a knife to my neck. Had he done this to me? Knock, knock. I hear some movement and sniffling before the door opens.

"How is she?" I hear a female voice say. That must be Luna.

"S-she's fine. But she ha-hasn't waken up yet." Toby ticks.

"Alright, I'll take over from here." I hear some more movement, a door shut, and then my hand being grabbed gently and being lifted to ... Luna's chest? "Please, wake up soon, Leila." She moves a piece of hair over to the side of my cheek. I try with all my might to give her some signal that I'm awake. I squeeze her hand with all I can. She gasps and drops my hand, I hear heavy footsteps then a door being swung open.

"JACK! Jack, come quick! It's not like you're busy, hurry up!" Luna screams throughout the house from the door. There re some more movement then I can suddenly feel some heat beside me.

"You said she's awake?" I hear Jack's voice ask from my side.

"She is, she squeezed my hand."

"She probably doesn't have enough strength to do anything. Leila, can you try opening your eye's again?" Jack asks. I only manage to open half of my left eye. I see a bight white and then I see Jack by me. Luna is standing at the end of the bed with the door wide open. I look around to see a chair just behind Jack along with a widow to the right of that. Everything in the room is white. I hear a ringing in my head, due to this I can't hear any of what the two are talking about.

I then feel a pounding in my head that just continuously thumps throughout my entire forehead, I think Luna called it  'headache.' I grimace as I feel my eyes beginning to sting worse and worse. The ringing abruptly stops.

"Sorry, if this hurts, Leila." Jack says before using his gloved index and middle finger to open my eye. The index on my top eyelid and the middle on the bottom. My breathing begins to accelerate a little due to the pain. "Her eyes are white." Jack calls back to Luna.

"No duh, Sherlock." Luna says, sarcastically. Jack removes his hand and bends down to pick up a brief case. He turns around and places the case on the chair before I hear a click. I manage to fully open both my eyes now.

"I should put her on painkillers. She should go to bed in a few minutes or so." Jack says before turning around to show he's holding a syringe. I felt something snap inside me and adrenaline filling my body. I then bend my leg and kick Jack in the gut causing him to fall to the floor.

I quickly get up to make a quick leave out the door, at first struggling to find my balance, but just when I was about to leave the room, Luna regains her senses and wraps her arms around my stomach. I elbow her, however I held back. I can't hurt Luna. Jack rises back to his feet and inserts the point in my arm. I still try to flail out of Luna's grasp, but Jack speedily pulls the trigger to the syringe that empties the contents into me. With one last kick, I lose the surge of energy I felt merely seconds before. It just so happens that I kicked Jack in his 'no-no' spot.

"Bloody Murder!" Jacks screeches before tumbling to the floor holding his crotch area. Luna gently picks me up and places me back down onto the bed.

"I..I'm so.. so sorry, Luna.. I didn't... didn't meant to." I say before sleep grasps me.

"It's alright Leila. So to sleep now." Luna softly replies as Jack groans in the background.

~Time Skip~

I flutter my eyes open. What happened? I grunt and old my head, then sit up. I quickly realize what happened last time I had woken up. Guilt scratches at me. I don't feel nearly as tired as I did last time, I actually feel pretty great.

"Morning Sunshine." I hear a someone say in a gruff voice. I turn my head to see Jeff.

"Hey, Jeff." I greet him, smiling.I then move over to the left side of the bed and get up.

"Whoa there, You shouldn't even be trying to move in your condition." Jeff says trying to pull me back onto the bed from the right side.

"In my condition? I'm not hurt at all." I say, managing to get to my feet. Just then we hear smile bark. Jeff curses and rushes out the door. I begin to follow out when I realize I'm not in my usual clothing. I'm dressed in a gray shorts the reach midway to my knees, along with a matching gray under shirt. I shrug and walk out only to be greeted by Hoodie. I tense.

"H-Hey, Hoodie..." I stutter, trying to avoiding eye contact by looking everywhere but his eyes.

"Hey Leila." He reaches out his hand and I take a step back, looking him straight in the eye this time. He just sighs. "Look, I'm really really sorry about the other day. I ... I was just.." He pauses. "I was just worried about a mission Slender put me on and, I'm really sorry. I won't let it happen again." He looks at me or a reaction. I loosen up.

"I-I don't know Hoodie.. This is the second time it's happened and.. I don't think I can be as forgiving as I was last time... Let me think over it, okay?" Should I be so cruel to him? He did say he was sorry.. No Leila! Listen to Luna, she was right last time, wasn't she?

"Okay." He replied back gloomily. "Well, I need to go on another mission. Later." And with that, he left down the hallway that led to the stairs. I went to Luna's door and knocked.

"Come in!" I heard her say. I opened the door.

"Hey Luna." I smiled. Her room had more of a purple and black theme. The ceiling and every other wall was purple, while the carpet and other walls were black. She had a checkered covering her bed, meanwhile her door, bed-side table, and armour/dresser were black.

"Leila!" She said jumping up from her spot on the bed. "What're you doing out of bed?" She asked, worry clear in her voice.

"Well, I'm feeling fine and Jeff ditched out on me so I thought I'd come talk to you." She sighed.

"Fine, come sit down with me." We sat on the edge of her bed, the mattress slightly going in.

"How long did I sleep?" I asked.

"A day and a half."

"That long?"

"Yeah, you were pretty out of it."

"Speaking of which, sorry for hurting you and Jack the other day."

"No worries, over it." She smiled. "Now back to important matters. Are you ready to go through the plan?"

"I-I don't know. You see Hoodie came to apologize to me and I-"

"Don't wimp out on me!" She cut me off. I sighed.

"Fine, but only this once. When do we do it?"

"How about tomorrow? Slender will be here then and he's a key factor."

"Okay, fine with me." Knock, knock.

"Come in!" Leila yelled once again. Jack appeared at the door.

"Leila, Slender wishes to see you in his office."

"Great." Luna mumbles. "How'd you know Leila was in here?"

"I figured she'd see you. After running from the guest room. Do you need me to help you there Leila?"

"No, that's alright." I pause. "Thanks though, Jacky." I smile while he only grunts.

"Hurry up." He mumbles before leaving. I say a quick bye to Luna before heading to see Slender. Once there,  knock on his door. He gives the signal to go I sit in the chair I usually do. However, this time Masky and Hoodie are on both sides of me.

"Uh... Did you need me, sir?"

"Yes, Leila. I have an important matter to speak to you about." Slender informs me in a booming voice.

"And that is, sir?"

"You will be sent off to school." I tilted my head slightly out of confusion.

"School? What's that?" He chuckled slightly.

"School is a place where humans go to learn multiple things at once that sometimes causes them extreme stress due to the work and homework they are given."

"Why are you sending me there?"

"What year is it?"

"What?"

"What is the 5th month called?"

"What's a mo-"

"What is 72 multiplied by 1?"

"72!" I answered proudly, smiling at our little 'game.'

"Now multiple that by 5, square root that number. Multiple the root by 8 and divide by 2."

"Huh?"

"Precisely. Hoodie and Masky will teach you all the basics for the rest of today and tomorrow. You will start school after that with Hoodie escorting you."

"Yes, sir." I said.

"You are all dismissed."  We all left the room and went to the living room where they could begin teaching me before they had to go off. Hoodie grabbed something off the wall.

"This is a calender." He said. It looked like a huge pamphlet with a picture of dog on the top.

"A calender is an item that shows you all the days and months within the specified year." Masky said. They then went on o explaining what a month was. After making me memorize the months, they let me go to bed, seeing that it was already late.

After I had taken a shower, I laid in bed for a good 30 more minutes trying to refrain all the new words I learned in my mind. Is school going to be this hard?

(A/N: I would like to apologize if the first part is suck-y, WattPad erased that part and I had to rewrite it. Thank you all for reading!)
