Seriously?

Leila's P.O.V.

"Y-you said you wouldn't leave me.." I heard a voice say in the dark abyss I had been placed in. I groggily opened my eyes. Looking around slowly, i realized I was in the same white room as before. Toby is sitting on a chair hunched over and Hoodie is leaning against the door frame.

"Huh?" I said in a near whisper. My muscles felt as though I've been struck by a train. Both Toby's and Hoodie's heads popped up to look at me.

"You lied to me.." Toby ticked quietly before pushing through Hoodie and rushing out the door.

"What's up with him? He's bee like that ever since you went into that coma."

"He's stuck on thinking I'm Lyra." I laid back down. "What's a coma, anyways?" I didn't really feel like talking to Hoodie, but I couldn't hold a grudge towards him. He was probably assigned by Slender to lie to me. Oh yeah, I'm suppose to be actually doing stuff.

"It's a state of unconsciousness that lasts more than six hours in which a person cannot be woken up from."

"So, like a state of comatose?"

"Yeah, exactly actually." This suddenly got to me and I popped up in the bed, regretting it moments later when I felt the pain in my ribs.

"How long was I out?"

"Pfft. Not that long only." He faked a cough. "freeestunts."

"What was that?"

"fthresestunts." He did it again.

"Hoodie."

"About three months."

"What? What about school?" I began panicking, all the homework I had to make up for...

"Well, your winter break is suppose to start in tomorrow, no school. You just missed your last day and Slender desn't think you should go back."

"I want to, though."

"You have to. No choice, sorry." He went over to the nightstand that was placed in the room then walked over to my bedside with a clear cup filled with a light red liquid. "And you need to drink this. It's going to put you to sleep so you won't feel any pin or anything when Slender gives you immortality, and you mark."

"I'm going to get my mark?"

"Yeah, where do you want it?"I thought for a while before pulling up my sleeve to show my right shoulder.

"Here."

"Intriguing, now drink this and go to bed so you won't be in any pain." I did as he instructed me to and quickly felt a drowsiness come over me. In the split second, right before I drifted off, I felt... scared. Scared of Hoodie and all the other pastas. I couldn't think of a reason why, but my conscience knew that I should be horrified of them.

(A/N: Sorry for the short chapter. I'll try to update again later on, but I'v been kind of busy trying to find a brother that I have. I just found out about him and he's a year older than me, so I'm sorry if I can't get another update in, but thank you all for reading/ commenting, I love the feedback! :D )
