The ground met Hermione's body with a sickening thud making the young witch groan in pain, her whole body ached as she blearily blinked her eyes open.
She could recognize Hogwarts anytime and what she saw was a new and cleaner version of the Hogwarts she was used to seeing.
Standing up made her nauseous because before she knew it she felt the urge to puke.
Holding her pain in she observed her bloodied and torn up clothing, her hair was matted with dry blood and remnants of who knows what.
Sighing she covered her arms with her tattered cloak as she marched straight into the school without hesitation, she will make things right. She will save him, she will save all of them no matter what it took.

Entering the halls of her beloved school made her heart soar like a phoenix but quickly crumbled knowing that this wasn't her school. Not in this time.
Sighing as she watched a few students mingle about, none seemed to pay her any attention which she was glad for.
Making her way straight to the headmasters office she never expected to suddenly bump into a rock hard wall, no a rock hard chest with the cold voice that accompanied it.
Looking up she could see it, dark green almost onyx eyes greeted her with the storm brewing in him.
"Who are you?" His velvety voice laced with malice questioned as he glared at her.
"I-I'm Hermione Vivicus Sanguine." She squeaked out the first name that came to her mind as she backed up.
She was talking to the young Voldemort.
Was he still considered Voldemort if he looked younger?
Riddle's eyes narrowed dangerously as he bent down a bit to meet with her eye level.
"Tell me the truth girl.." he whispered lowly "or you will regret it if you lie to me." His rich voice almost smothered Hermione as she glared right back.
"I'm not lying." She muttered as she crossed her arms, her face grim and coated with scratches and dried blood. Riddle stared at her as if she was filth upon the sole of his shoes.
"Come with me filth. I must present you to the Headmaster straight away." Riddle's sharp voice cut through the air making some student's turn and gawk at them. Riddle's face suddenly became a blank slate as he walked away from the young lady, his heels echoed in the near silent halls.
Hermione sighed as the adrenaline rushing in her blood, calmed if just for a moment. Following close behind she kept her wand hidden just for pre-caution, incase Riddle tried to hex her into the new world.
As she followed him she couldn't help grazing her eyes over his lean figure, he had average shoulders and his perfectly gelled hair. His cloak billowed in waves that mesmerized the doe eyed girl, it would have put Severus Snape to shame.

Soon after they arrived to the familiar stone gargoyle Riddle tapped it's carved snout as he whispered the password, eyeing the girl as he clearly didn't trust her with knowing what he knows.
The Gargoyle slid to the side making the stone grate, yet Hermione had to act as if she was a foreign student from another school.
As they walked up the steps Hermione could feel the adrenaline rushing back into her system as she nervously clutched her dirty robes. This timezone should be when Grindelwald should start waging war.
Arriving at the polished oak door, Riddle rapped his knuckles thrice making a booming sound swirl around the two. It represented the sound and pounding of her heart, the war cries or Harry and the Order echoed in her minds, screams of terror and rage coursed through her mind flashing underneath her eyes.
"Guine..."
"Sanguine!"
"Ms. Sanguine!"
Riddle's voice snapped out at her as he glared harshly, he was unimpressed with how she zoned out like the wench she is.
His cold eyes observed her blank expression, she seemed to have been reminiscing about something dreadful, but he needed her attention now.
Suddenly she glared hard at him as she swept past him in a huff, her tangly hair dirty yet still Tom could smell the overlaying Vanilla and Cinnamon scent that lingered in the air.
Brushing it off he followed soon after to face the older audience that stared at the two with mirth.
The headmaster stared at Riddle with a warm smile.
"Ah! Mr. Riddle please come in, come in!"
His face was wrinkled with age as he stood up, Armaldo Dippet he current Headmaster of Hogwarts.
Hermione's eyes hardened yet she stayed standing up, this action went unnoticed by Dippet yet the other man caught it.
Albus Dumbledore stared hard at the new girl, his blue crystalline eyes seemed to pierce her body as if he was deciphering a puzzle.
Hermione couldn't bear to look at him just yet, the death of Dumbledore ran vivid in her mind, his body sprawled on the cold stone. A peaceful smile as he died by his most trusted friend.
Yes Albus caught her stone cold eyes, yet it seemed to fie even more as she glanced away from him, the gears in his mind already moving.
Professor Dumbledore finally spoke, his voice just as whimsical as the young woman remembered.
"And who might this young lady be?"
Hermione steeled herself to stare at the dead professor she would be proud to call Grandfather.
"My name is Hermione Vivicus Sanguine. I come all the way from Germany." She had laid down a slight german accent, glad that she studied the language.
As well as the school that history stated, got destroyed from Grindelwald's forces.
"I came here in hope for shelter... The school NachtWulf has been decimated and I-I don't know who still lives..." her voice was only a wispy song as she looked down to the carpeted floor.
"My, my. Dearie why don't you enroll here? We shall keep you safe from danger." Dippets voice was soft and gentle as he smiled broadly.
Hermione's eyes lit up as she let a tender smile crack on her face. "Would that not be too much trouble sir?"
"No dearest! What year were you in?"
"I am in my seventh year Sir." The young girl bowed as she kept a small smirk hidden.
"Perfect! Mr. Riddle can show you around." Dippet smiled as he conjured her a fresh set of blank robes.
"Mind you shall be sorted tonight at the feast!"
"Yes.... Ms. Sanguine. Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." Albus smiled as the twinkle in his eyes never left.
