Zane's POV 

We arrived in ninjago city and found a parking spot not to far from the coffee shop, Falcon landed on my shoulder as I followed my father down the street. I was busy looking around at all the colorful excitement around me when I heard my father say

"Aiden?" I looked in the direction he was looking and saw a man and woman walking with two small children. My father then raised his hand to wave and yelled a little louder

"Aiden, Kailona!" The people my father was apparently talking to, didn't seem to notice, so my father started across the street towards them and I of course followed him. When we were on the other side of the street my father called the man's name once more and this time the man turned around to see us.

"Doctor Julien?" The man said, he motioned for his family to stop as we caught up to him. My father shook the man's hand and the man asked

"Julian, what are you doing here."

"Meeting with an old friend, but I didn't count on meeting two old friends, or should I say three." my father said turning to the woman and giving her a hug, we were then introduced to the children Kai and Nya. The man looked at me.

"And who is this handsome lad over here, I don't remember you having a son when I last saw you?" The man said, turning toward my father as he spoke. My father put a hand on my shoulder (the one not inhabited by Falcon) before saying.

"This is Zane, my most sophisticated invention yet."

"Ah I see, a robot." the man said turning to face me again

"Not just a robot," my father said, looking offended. "But my greatest accomplishment and my son."

"My mistake, it's nice to meet you Zane." he said, extending a hand toward me, I put out my hand to shake his and said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too sir." my father then invited them to come have coffee with him, they accepted and we all walked back across the street to the coffee shop.

Jay's POV

I was getting bored of waiting in the coffee shop, my mom had ordered me a scone but I already ate it, now I was breathing on the glass window and drawing with my finger. I turned around when I heard the bell on the door ring, I saw a man with white hair, and a teenage boy walk toward our table great, no one my age to play with I thought, I was about to go back to my drawing when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a little girl with black hair and a pink dress, she was the prettiest girl I had ever seen, all I could do was stare at her. I heard the man with white hair introduce the girls parents, than my mom asked the kids what their names were.

"I'm Kai and this is my little sister Nya." said a boy who looked a little older than me. Nya that was a pretty name. Then my mom gestured toward me and said.

"This is our son Jay, say hello Jay." Nya was looking at me, this was my chance, I smiled and said.

"Hello Jay." it worked! She laughed, and so did her brother, maybe this wouldn't be so boring afterall.

Nya's POV

I liked Jay, he was funny, and his shirt was blue, which is my favorite color. me and Kai sat down next to him at the table, so did Zane. we had a lot of fun talking and playing, then Jay asked.

"How old are you guys?"

"I'm five and a half." Kai answered him, than I said,

"I'm four." Jay looked really happy when I said I was four.

"I'm four too! how old are you Zane?" I forgot that Zane was there because he hadn't talked in awhile, we all looked at him and waited for his answer.

"I am six years old." Zane said. Jay looked confused, me and Kai already knew that Zane was a robot so we weren't surprised.

"How can you be six? you're a big kid." Jay asked Zane.

"I am a robot, my father built me six years ago." Zane said.

"Wow you're a robot, that is so cool." then Jay kept asking Zane questions, and they talked about roboty things that I didn't understand. While they were talking I turned around in my chair to look around, I saw a boy with black hair, sitting with his dad, He looked bored. I sat back down and looked at the three boys.

"That boy over there looks bored, we should ask him to come sit with us." I said, pointing. The three boys looked behind me then Jay said.

"Okay, let's go." me and Jay got up and started walking towards the boy.

"Nya, where are you going?" My mommy said from behind me, I turned around and told her,

"We are going to ask that boy to sit with us." she looked to where I was pointing.

"Alright sweetie, that's fine, you can ask his father to come sit with us too." mom said to me. I turned around with Jay and we walked over to the boy's table.

Cole's POV.

I sat at the table with my dad and finished my scone, we were supposed to be running errands but my dad was "taking a break" to drink coffee and read the newspaper. I was bored, so I started tracing shapes on the table with my finger. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed someone walking toward my table, I looked up to see a boy with orange hair, and a girl with black hair standing in front of me.

"Hi, i'm Nya and this is Jay (the boy waved) we thought you looked bored so we came to see if you and your daddy wanted to come sit at our table with us." the girl said to me. I looked up at my dad

"No, no, we don't want to disturb you." my dad said to the girl who responded by saying,

"It's okay, my mommy already said you could." my dad hesitated before saying,

"Well, okay." I smiled and followed the girl and boy to their table, I sat down next to Nya and Jay while my dad introduced himself to the adults.

"Hello" said two other boys who were sitting at the table, Nya introduced me to them.

"That's my brother Kai, he's five and a half, and that's Zane, he's six, me and Jay are both four."

"Hi." I said to them, I was surprised that the bigger boy was only six.

"What's your name?" Kai asked me.

"My names Cole, i'm six."

"Hey that makes you and Zane the same age." said Jay.

"So who is older, when is your birthday Cole?" Kai asked me, I thought about it for a second before answering

"I will be seven in two months." then everyone looked at Zane

"My birthday was last month." Zane told us.

"That means you're the oldest Cole, so you get to decide what we do next." Nya said, everyone sat waiting for my decision, I thought for a while then told them.

"Lets play table football." everyone agreed and I showed them how to play. I was having fun laughing and playing with them. This must be what real friends are like, not like the kids who only wanted to be my friends because my dad was a famous dancer, we played for a long time before my dad said it was time to go. I reluctantly said goodbye to my new friends and followed my dad out the door.
