"I can't believe we're stuck in here because of you...", you rested your head on the table and sighed loudly whilst Kuroo was on the table next to yours and rested his legs upon the table with his chair tilted.
"Don't regret it though you trying to catch me was hilarious", he responded," it was like a Pomeranian puppy chasing me", he continued.

"Well now we're stuck in detention because you took my book and ran away and so the both of us were late for fifth period", you stated annoyed.
Kuroo just raised an eyebrow in amusement," Well I had a great time sooooo".
"Of course you did", you mockingly said," such an asshole".
"A hot one", he stated.
You rolled your eyes,"narcissistic ass".

A pair of heavy footsteps entered the room,"alright y/n and Kuroo you may now leave but please don't be late next time to lesson", the teacher stated.

Both you and Kuroo started to pack your bags and left. The two of you walked out of the school and as soon as you did, you hit Kuroo's head.
"Oow", he rubbed his head," you hit a bit too hard that time".
"Deserved it", you bluntly replied.
He widened his eyes,"h-hey are you actually mad?", he asked worriedly.
No response.
"Y/n hey talk to me", He pleaded.
You ignored him again.
"Y-y/n I-I'm sorry!", he lightly grabbed your arm and turned you towards him.
You just rolled your eyes.
"How about we go to that favourite cafe of yours?", he grinned.

You still didn't respond.
"Heyyyyy!", he exclaimed,"I'll just force you to come with me then", he dragged you along but you kept on trying to push him away.
"S-stop!", you pleaded.
"Here's another ride!", Kuroo grinned and ran whilst dragging you.

"Here we are", he stated.
You looked towards the building he stopped by and it was the cafe you liked.
"I hate you so much", you tried to conceal the smile that was forcing its way upon your face.
"Well let's go in!", Kuroo smiled.
"I could never be mad at you for too long even if I tried...", you stated.
"I know~", he replied with a grin.
"What would you like?", he asked.
You looked at the menu,"ummm I quite like red velvet and Lemon ice tea".
"Alrighty I'll order and pay for it", he said which made you feel bad.
"No it's fine I'll pay for my own you can buy your own stuff", you responded frantically.
Kuroo hummed,"no it's fine after all what I did I guess it was a bit of a dick move", he explained and patted your head,"it's fine I'll pay".
You stood there and obliged.
"You're going to make me feel bad", you mumbled.
"Huh?", Kuroo turned around,"did you say something?".
"You're going to make me feel bad", you repeated.

Kuroo grinned,"awww it's alright gremlin", he responded which made you chuckle.
"Just go on", you stated.
"Ay captain", Kuroo jokingly said before going to order the food.
You sat on one of the tables available, it was a quiet day and the cafe wasn't crowded, as you looked out to the window you saw a cute cat.
The cat was greyish-blue and it didn't seem to be an adult, probably a couple months old, old enough to be able to get by itself.
"Here's your meal madam", Kuroo stated in a posh tone before setting the meal in front of you,"what are you looking at?".
"Oh, it's just a cat", you responded.
Kuroo looked out as well,"it's a cute one!", he stated,"I kinda wanna keep it...".
"It might already have an owner and it's just wandering around", you replied, Kuroo sighed.
"Sad times I guess", Kuroo said.

You and Kuroo proceeded to eat your meals,
"How is it?", Kuroo asked.
You looked up towards him and smiled,"alway the best", you replied which made him chuckle.
"What did you order?", you asked.
"I just ordered a slice of vanilla cake and hot chocolate", he answered.

The rest of the meal was quiet but it wasn't an awkward silence, it was comfortable, two friends sitting in a warm cafe looking outside to the peaceful street and enjoying each other's company.

It was an ideal outing.

"Do you want to go somewhere else?", you asked.
Kuroo nodded,"sure I've got no volleyball practice today anyways".
"There's this carnival that's opening tonight", you replied.
"Is this a date?", Kuroo asked with a smirk.
"Ewww", you shook your head,"no never".
"Is alright if it is I understand because you can't resist me after all I'm too hot", He smirked.
You chuckled,"you really think you're like the best looking guy".
Kuroo hummed in agreement.
"Anyways can you invite Kenma and the rest of the volleyball boys as well if they're available?", you asked.
"Alrighty~"
"Well let's go and get ready!", Kuroo exclaimed.
You stood up,"yeah".

Kuroo walked you back from cafe to your home and proceeded to go back to his.
"Hey Kuroo!!!", you exclaimed which made him turn back.
"Yeah?!", he shouted back.
"Make sure that Kenma comes!!", you informed him.
Kuroo put his thumbs up,"okey!".
"Thanks!!".
