“Sweet dreams.”, the voice spoke, sweet as honey, yet she knew that it hadn’t come from her parents, and still, every night she could hear the same child-like voice. It was so familiar to her, yet still a stranger to her mind and memory.

    Even when it didn’t speak, she knew it was there, watching her silently, and sometimes, she could get a glimpse of it’s pale, transparent dress out of the corner of her eye. She couldn’t tell why it followed her, but she hadn’t a single memory without it.

    The oldest memory that she could remember clearly was when she was about five, close to six years old, when she was found by Blazing Sun and Sleeping Moon, who soon became her newfound parents. The voice had spoken to her that night, saying, “You still miss us, you don’t show it, but you do, I can sense it, and I’m sure she can as well. Just know I am always with you, and she is always watching us. Maybe… maybe someday you’ll move on.”

    Whenever she had a Shadow Maiden haunt her dreams, she could always hear the voice chase it away.

    Time passed, and eventually she decided to leave her parents to explore the world around her on her own. The voice, however, never left her, though it spoke less and less to her with each passing year.

    The more she traveled,the more she learned about the creatures and life around her. Through her time in the desert, she learned of the giant tawny feathered, blue footed birds that were scared of their own reflections, as well as how to find food and shelter. Only when she met a small group of humans did she find out that the giant birds were called Fulvum. In the plains, she saw many creatures, dragons, pegasi, unicorns, Cloud Beasts, and more.
