10. Moon Seoyeon

"Can't you really come with me tomorrow, hyung?" Taehyung asked the night before the team building. He already packed his things, and he is currently on their bed cuddling with Seokjin as he is trying to get Seokjin to come with him. "Seoyeon-ssi said I can bring a plus one and I want that to be you."

He gave Seokjin a pout and puppy eyes. The older sighed. "Tae, I will go there but not tomorrow. You will see me on Friday afternoon, that's a promise. I can't take a leave tomorrow my boss will be furious."

Taehyung whined like a kid. Seokjin just shook his head and chuckled. He is such a cutie especially when he acts like a kid in front of him. Seokjin can't help but fall deeper. The mask that is using to hide his real feelings slowly being took off. Who wouldn't melt on these actions? Taehyung has been treating him like how he dreamed the younger would in the past years, and having him like this now, is just a sort of dream come true for Jin.

He still has a lot of fears, but one by one they are slowly disappearing whenever Taehyung assures him that he will never hurt him again. That's what all Seokjin wants. He wants Taehyung to treat him like how he deserves. He just wants to be loved by the person he loves most.

"Fine. I will wait for you there. Extend your leave until Tuesday, okay? I want us to spend more quality time together." He said kissing Seokjin's cheeks.

"You still don't get enough seeing my face? We spend too much time together than the usual, Tae."

"I won't get tired of seeing you, okay? And stop comparing the old me, to present me. We are two different people, hyung. The present me is so whipped for you; you can't even imagine how I spent most of my time thinking about you. Especially that scene earlier, I think I malfunctioned half of the day because of that."

He hit Taehyung's arms that is around him to make him shut up, but the other just pulled him closer and rained kisses all over his face.

"I know it's hard for you to trust me, but what I say is true. The more time I spend with you, the deeper I fall, and the greater fear I feel if ever you let go." he said emotionally making Seokjin look at him. "I have never felt anything like this, hyung. You make me want to be a better man. Do you know that just seeing you eat so happily makes my heart beat like crazy? I am not good with words, but fuck, everything you do catches my attention. This is not just guilt if ever you are thinking that. It is so far from guilt because what I feel is just so beautiful that I think my heart would explode with overflowing emotions, hyung."

This time, Seokjin is looking directly at Taehyung's eyes. He can't speak. He doesn't know how to respond to him, so what he did is he just let him speak his mind. This time, Seokjin will listen, and if he will be convinced, maybe, maybe he can risk his heart one more time.

"I know I told you days ago that I am almost there, that I am already falling for you. And now, hyung I am sure. I love you. I love you so much I don't know what to do. This love is just so enormous, I just want to run away and hide, but I know that if I do that, I will lose you. The day I came to accept that I love you was the day when Seoyeon-ssi asked me what I will do if one day, I will find out that I have someone else in my heart, not you or noy Yoongi-hyung. It got me thinking, that if there is someone else other than you, and you will find out about it, you will get hurt and leave me."

Taehyung gathered his hands and put it close to his lips and kissed them. Seokjin noticed Taehyung loved kissing his knuckles, he has done that a couple of times already.

"The thought of you leaving me dreaded me so much that I went to your office early and waited for you to come home. And while waiting for you, I realized how I can never live without you. That I can live without Yoongi for eternity, but a moment without you would kill me. I don't need anyone else. I need you. I love you, hyung. I love you."

Taehyung is already crying before he can even finish his sentence. Seokjin just looked at him with tears on his eyes too. Taehyung loves him! Not Yoongi, but him! finally, he heard those three words from him and he is so, so happy. All the pain he endured seemingly turned into nothing and all he can hear is Taehyung saying I love you to him.

"You are not playing with me, aren't you?" he asked just to be sure.

Taehyung giggled even in between tears.

"I am not. I love you; I love you so much."

Seokjin bit his lips and closed his eyes before meeting Taehyung's gaze again and with all his heart, he whispered back: "I love you too, Taehyung. So fucking much."

And the next thing he knew, they are kissing. Taehyung pulled him so he is on top of Taehyung and the younger pulled his nape and let their lips meet. Seokjin let him, because this time, he feels like this love is genuine. He wants to believe this is genuine. Although he has a lot of fears, he will not let them stop him from seizing the moment with Taehyung. besides, he only lives once so he will do whatever it takes just to have the happiness he thinks he deserves.

"How can I leave for tomorrow when we are like this? I don't want to part from you, hyung."

"Aish, you need too, and if you do, I will let you have a treat." Seokjin winked and pecked Taehyung's lips one last time before he went back to his side of the bed.

Taehyung raised a brow.

Intrigued he asked, "What treat?"

"When we are already in Jeju having our own rooms and such, I think I might allow you to have a taste."

"Oh my gosh!" Taehyung hissed, "Stop teasing me! You know how easily I get affected because of you!"

"I will stop only if you leave tomorrow."

Taehyung rolled his eyes, "Fine I will. But I will always call you when I can."

"I'm fine with that." He said, "Now, sleep."

The younger giggled. "I love you~" he said in a singsong tone.

"Shut up and sleep!"

"I love youuu!!"

Seokjin didn't replied but a smile is on his face. This is one of the best nights he's ever had since he loved Taehyung. And his gut feel is telling him it will be for a long time.

The next morning, even though Taehyung is reluctant to leave, Seokjin made sure he is on board with his officemates. Now, he is on the bus his company rented with Seoyeon by his side since his secretary specially reserved the seat for him. he is still quite sleepy because they need to leave at 4 a.m. and he is grumpy because he didn't get to cuddle Jin for ten minutes earlier.

He tried to get some sleep by leaning his head on the window, but Seoyeon keeps talking and talking to him that he is starting to get pissed.

"Sir, I am so excited! How about you? I have some great memories in Jeju. We all have, especially you. I hope you can remember them, Sir Taehyung. That would be great."

With his lips almost not opening he hissed, "Shut up." Seoyeon stopped talking, "It's too early stop blabbering. I am not interested to what you are going to say."

"Why? You're being grumpy, Sir. I know just what to lighten up your mood." The he took out a can of soda and burger to give them to him. Taehyung grimaced while looking at the greasy meat. Yes, he does love burgers and soda, but only Seokjin's recipe. He has them in his bag secured in a Tupperware because he asked the elder to make it for him, so he doesn't need what Seoyeon is giving him. plus, it's early morning! It's not good to start his day with soda. He will become lethargic with too much sugar crossing in his veins.

"Sorry, but I don't need that. What I need is peace and quiet."

"Why Sir, is your boyfriend giving you a hard time?" Taehyung raised a brow. Will he ever stop? It's annoying him.

"No, he is the best. Just shut up please you are making me mad, fuck!"

He knows he is being an ass, but he just can't stand too much noise. It's too early to blabber about nonsensical things. If he is Seokjin, he will listen to him all day, but he isn't so he doesn't care.

Taehyung is ready to close his eyes when he didn't hear Seoyeon replied when his phone rang. He smiled when he saw the caller ID and answered it immediately. "Hi, Jin-hyung" he said quietly just enough for Jin to hear him. While talking, he kept his eyes on the window staring at the sunrise that is slowly coloring the night sky. "I miss you already ..."

When Taehyung said those words, he didn't notice the man beside him frowning and bitter feeling rising up to his chest. His hand clamping his jeans to prevent himself from making a scene.

"I wish it's Friday already ..." he heard Taehyung said, "I don't think I can sleep later I don't have you beside me. I want to come home now,"

Seoyeon rolled his eyes if only Taehyung remembers who he really loves, he won't talk to that Seokjin like that. If Taehyung remembers who he is, he will surely dump Seokjin easily just like before, no questions asked, once Seoyeon needs Taehyung, Taehyung will be there for him. heck, he can sleep without that Seokjin because Seoyeon is there and he will do everything in his power to remind Taehyung who he was in his life; even if that means he will bust Seokjin's illusion that he is loved by Taehyung.

He closed his eyes, he let their conversation just pass by his ears, he will deal with it soon, but first, he needs to stay calm and let everything unfold on its own.

When they arrived, it's time to go to their respective rooms. Taehyung is not worried about anything else because he asked Seoyeon to book him a solo room because he is expecting Seokjin to come on Friday. He is really looking forward to these days because he is planning to show Seokjin how much he really means to him.

His memory is not fully back, but he has a chunk of them to know well enough what Seokjin might like and what he has requested Taehyung before that he sadly turned down. One of them is going to the beach. Seokjin requested that for his birthday, but he said no because he is busy with work. He can't remember what he did that day, but all he can recall is saying no to Seokjin. the next thing was a dinner date since he debunked the beach plan, but he didn't say yes too.

He understands that his "old self" is not in love with Seokjin that's why he is like that. He just wished that he is not so blind so that he saw how wonderful Jin is.

"Sir? Sir Taehyung!" Seoyeon called him. He snapped and looked at his secretary.

"What?"

"I said that I can't find a room for you that you can sleep in tonight. The room will only be available tomorrow afternoon." He informed Taehyung.

Taehyung cursed under his breath. "Where would I sleep then? The couch?"

"My room, sir. It's big enough for the both of us. It's just one night."

He walked past Seoyeon to confirm to the receptionist about the issue, and when she said yes, Taehyung can only sigh. He has no choice. So, he nodded. "Fine, can you show me your room? I will place my things there."

Seoyeon smiled cheerfully and helped Taehyung carrying his bag. They crossed the hallways and when they reached Seoyeon's room, he was shocked. It's a honeymoon suite! He looked at Seoyeon with a confused expression.

"Does this hotel have a few rooms that you even ended up booking for a honeymoon suite for yourself?"

Seoyeon laughed and went inside. "The other villa is being renovated, so the rooms are few. We're lucky they have enough for all of us to fit here." He said, "Come on, Sir go and change. The program will start in an hour you can use the shower if you want. I will just go down and see if everyone is okay. Big boss will be stressed if they aren't."

Taehyung nodded. He watched as Seoyeon left. He went to the bathroom and showered. He texted Seokjin that they had arrived. The older didn't replied, Taehyung figured that he is at work so he didn't bother bombarding him with messages, he knows he will reply later at noon.

When he came down to their designated place, one of his co-workers is hosting the program. They got divided into teams, and the only person Taehyung knew in his team is Seoyeon. Their first game is a warmup, just introducing themselves to the team and creating team names, painting their logos on the flag given. Taehyung found himself enjoying the game and he didn't notice the time already passing by quickly.

Then the game of tug of war came, of course Taehyung's team won, and they were given cash prize for that which is teammates were so happy about. He smiled seeing them cheering like kids and just completely enjoying. He sat on the sand taking a rest when Seoyeon sat beside him and gave him a bottle of water.

"Good game, huh?" the younger said. Taehyung just happily hummed his eyes never looking away from his happy teammates.

"Mr. Lee will get wasted later tonight. He will surely spend all of that for booze." Taehyung laughed.

"He surely will." Seoyeon seconded, "Wanna go for a walk?"

Taehyung looked at him intrigued, "No next schedule?"

"Nope, next schedule will be at 3pm. We still have four hours." He smiled, "So?"

"Fine. I want to see the whole vicinity too."

Taehyung stood up and they walked around the area. Seoyeon is giggling like a kid while holding his camera capturing the scenery. Taehyung is amazed at the white sand and turquoise waters that he can't help but feel excited when Seokjin finally comes here to join him. he snapped a selfie and sent it to Seokjin with the message of: The beach is waiting for you, I miss you!

Seoyeon noticed him smiling at his phone, "What are you smiling at, Sir?"

"Oh, my fiancé. I missed him and I just sent him a text." He even showed Seoyeon his phone and smiled.

"Do you love him? or it's just a side effect of your amnesia?"

Taehyung glared at him. "I. LOVE. HIM."

Seoyeon covered up his pissed off face with a smile, "Chill, I am just asking."

"What made you think that?"

"Let's just say, I know stuffs that you don't." he answered nonchalantly.

"Like?"

"Like maybe you have someone else other than Seokjin."

"I do?" he asked shocked. "Who?"

"You will remember soonest. I can feel and when you do, I am sure you will leave Jin."

Taehyung wanted to punch Seoyeon for what he said but the other already left and went back to the team. His statement got him thinking. He is cheating on Seokjin before? Then who? And why?

Nighttime came, and they spent it partying. Taehyung is not drinking at all he just came to eat good food and see his officemates make fun of themselves. It was a funny sight to see. The older employees dancing like they don't care while singing their hearts out like they have renewed their youth.

He had called Seokjin earlier and the older already went to sleep. they are both excited for tomorrow and Taehyung already called the staffs of the beach to prepare what he needs when Sunday comes. He is dead set to make it a special day for them as a celebration of their new found love.

"Taehyung-ssi, come on man, loosen up. Drink!" the boss told him. He politely declined. He doesn't feel like drinking today.

"Aww, too bad! Are you worried that you might be a little touchy while drunk?" he giggled like a little girl, "Because if you do, our Seoyeon-ssi is here to take care of you."

He shook his head, "No, Sir. Thank you."

"Seoyeon-ssi, come on, get your man to drink! I know this place is special for you two. You had your anniversaries here, right?" The old man said. Taehyung widened his eyes.

"What?"

"You don't remember?" he chuckled. Taehyung looked at Seoyeon but the other just gave him a blank expression. "Seoyeon right here is your boyfriend! Everybody in this office knows that!"

Taehyung felt dizzy all of a sudden.

What? Seoyeon? He cheated on Jin with Seoyeon?

With his world twirling around, he stood up and went outside the restobar. He let his feet take him somewhere far from there. His head is hurting.

"Fuck," he held on to the nearest tree he can lean on and series of memories came flashing on his mind.

Then he remembered who Seoyeon was on his life.

"Hi Sir Taehyung. I am your new secretary, Moon Seoyeon. Nice to meet you!"

He looked at the fine young man in front of him. broad shoulders, thick lips seductive eyes. He is perfect. Taehyung smiled and reached for his hands.

"Seoyeon-ssi, how about we eat lunch together?" he said and saw his secretary blushed at the simple gesture.

"Won't your boyfriend be mad at me if I do?" he asked when he recovered. Just as flirtatious as Taehyung did.

The elder smiled. He liked it. He is feisty unlike the man in his home, boring and weak.

"He won't because he won't know."

Seoyeon smiled, walked up to him and kissed him.

Taehyung liked Seoyeon. He liked how he looked when he fucks his mouth, he liked how he moans when he fucks him right at his office dumping all their works and letting their undying libido to take over them.

"I love you Taehyung-ssi."

Taehyung was taken aback, but he didn't do anything about it. Instead, he kept thrusting and thrusting until both of them came.

Taehyung had a habit of lavishing Seoyeon things. Giving him everything that has the Moon in it. It reminded him of Seoyeon. But does that mean he loved Seoyeon?

No.

Taehyung isn't capable of loving. He stayed because of a reason only he would understand.

It's better to keep Seoyeon. Seoyeon won't hurt him. he is sure Seoyeon won't.

How can Seoyeon hurt him when he isn't even in love with him?

One year. He has been with Seoyeon for a year. So he did what he knows he should do. He booked a flight for them to go to Jeju. They fucked and fucked for a week straight.

He purposely forgot abot Seokjin and everything that reminds him of the man.

He needs to get away from Seokjin, and Seoyeon is a willing victim.

"Taehyung-ssi, when will you leave your fiancé? It's been two years and you kept delaying."

They are again back in Jeju, Taehyung fucked him under the stars right beside the beach while the other is wearing the necklace Taehyung bought for him. it is a customized gold crescent moon necklace and Seoyeon loved it.

"Soon."

Seoyeon was there for Taehyung only because Taehyung chose to. But every time he comes home to his apartment and Seokjin was there greeting him with a smile, Seoyeon's name gets temporarily erased.

Taehyung felt scared of what he feels.

"Welcome home, darling. How is your week? I missed you."

Taehyung is pissed. Not because Seokjin missed him, but because Seokjin never gets mad at him. He made sure to left traces, clues, and obvious evidences that he is cheating, but the other brushes it off hugging him like he deserved all the love in the world.

Taehyung hated it.

It will be easier if Seokjin leaves. Saying hurtful words to Taehyung's ears so he can hate him, and Taehyung can blame him for leaving, but he never does. Instead, when he sees evidences of his unfaithfulness, Seokjin doubles his efforts. Taehyung knew he is blaming himself, thinking he isn't enough, but fuck, he is so much more than that.

And Taehyung is afraid, because he knows by the way Seokjin cries himself to sleep, he will leave him too.

Who wouldn't? he is an asshole. So he chose the easier way out.

He will hurt Seokjin one last time that will make the other so mad at him, and he will leave. Taehyung can't stand the smile, the hugs and kisses the older is giving him. it makes him fear for his own heart.

It's easier to hurt Jin than to love him. He can't sacrifice his heart one more time.

"I will break up with him tonight, Seoyeon."

Seoyeon clapped his hands and went on Taehyung's lap kissing him only to get pushed aside.

"I'm not in the mood."

Seoyeon stomped his feet, "You are always not in the mood! What is wrong?"

"Nothing. I will just buy you a new jewelry to make it up to you."

He saw Seoyeon's eyes lit up. He sighed. He knew what he has gotten himself into.

It's better to be with a gold digger than to hurt once more.

"Taehyung-ssi, are you okay?"

Taehyung is panting and when he looked who it was, it was Seoyeon. He pushed him away. "Go away."

But instead of moving far from him, Seoyeon grabbed him by the shirt and almost kissed him when someone stopped what he is trying to do.

"I get it, you are drunk Seoyeon-ssi, now step away from my man. I don't appreciate it."

Taehyung's world spun. Next thing he knew, he stumbled on Seokjin and passed out on his arms.
