Episode 2- Dipper and the Ghosts

Mabel was showing some tourists the Cornicorn.

"Behold, the never before seen, Cornicorn!" She said. She put on a fake smile, she hated how all of Stan's attractions were fake. When she finished the tour she forced the tourists into to the gift shop.

"Buy something," she said unenthusiasticly.

"What's wrong Mabel?" Asked Wendy who was working the cash register.

"I wish Stan didn't have so many fake attractions especially now that we know how much paranormal activity really goes on around here," sighed Mabel.

"They may be fake, but the dreams with the attractions aren't fake," said Soos behind Mabel. Mabel jumped.

"How much of that did you hear?" She asked nervously.

"All of it but don't worry dude, I've always known about the paranormal activity. I'm pretty sure the mailman is a werewolf," said Soos.

"Wow, now I feel like an idiot, I didn't notice until like 2 days ago," said Mabel.

"Hey, I know what will cheer you up!" Said Wendy. She stood up and walked over to a corner pulling back a curtain she revealed a latter, "A secret latter to the roof!"

"Wait we can go up their?" Asked Mabel excited.

"I don't think Mr. Pines would like that," said Soos.

"Come on, it'll be fine. Roof Time! Roof Time!" Chanted Wendy.

"Roof Time, Roof Time!" Mabel cheered. The duo climbed the latter to the roof.

"Welcome to my hang out spot," said Wendy. There was a beach chair a cooler full of Pitt Cola and a bucket full of pine cones.

"What are the pine cones for?" Asked Mabel.

"For target practice!" Answered Wendy, picking up a pine cone and throwing  it at the totem pole, hitting a piece of paper taped to it.

"Cool! Exclaimed Mabel.

"Anything to report?" Bill asked Dipper.

"A couple days a guy with six fingers came by, but I chased off. Other that that nope," answered Dipper.

"So, Sixer came back," said Bill, "You can go Pinetree." Dipper got up and walked away. He was looking out a window on the way to his room when he saw the rip. Dipper turned around and was about to leave the Fearamid when he heard his name called.

"Hey, Dipper! were are you going?" Called out one of the Hench-maniacs. Turning around Dipper recognized Key hole.

"I... uh, I am going to go patrol early, ya that is what I'm doing," said Dipper laughing nervously.

"Don't get eaten," said Key hole walking away. Phew, that was close, Dipper thought. He  left the Fearamid and Jumped into the rift. He knew that humans were dangerous but Mabel didn't seem dangerous. Dipper found himself in the woods. He  didn't know were Mabel lived so Dipper decided that he would ask the first human he found. After wondering around the woods for a bit twirling his cane Dipper spotted a shack, staying in the shadows of the trees he studied it. It had a big sign that read Mystery Shack. Though the s in shack had fallen so it said Mystery Hack. Dipper noticed a tall girl with red hair and Mabel was on the roof. It took him a minute to recognize the red head. He had seen her before maybe once or twice in the woods. He gathered his courage and jumped out of the tree, out into the open and waved to Mabel.

**

Mabel was about to throw a pine cone when she heard some one call her name.

"Mabel!" They shouted. Mabel looked at the ground and saw Dipper! He was waving at her.

"Dipper? what are you doing here?" She called back.

"I'm bored and have nothing to do so I came looking for you," he shouted back.

"Who's that?" Asked Wendy.

"Go into the shack and climb up the latter in the gift shop!" Said Mabel, telling her friend how to get to the roof.

"Okay!" He replied, disappearing into the shack.

"You still didn't answer my question," said Wendy.

"Just a second," said Mabel. Dipper opened the trap door and stood on the roof.

"I feel like I'm going to fall," he said holding onto Mabel.

"Can answer my question now?" Asked Wendy.

"Oh, ya. This is Dipper, we met in the woods a couple days ago when he saved me from a bunch of gnomes. Dipper, this is Wendy, she works at the Mystery Shack," said Mabel.

"Do you live here?" Asked Dipper finally letting go of Mabel only to look down and hold onto her leg like a three year old.

"Yep," said Mabel.

"Hey, you okay?" Asked Wendy.

"Ya, just afraid of heights I guess, though I climb trees all the time," Dipper looked at Wendy once again letting go of Mabel.

"Your eyes... your the ghost boy!" She said jumping back in surprise.

"I'm not a ghost, why does everyone think that, I just like to observe humans," said Dipper, standing up.

"But you a human," said Mabel confused.

"Oh, uh ya," said Dipper he avoided making eye contact with Mabel.

"Well we're playing  throw the pine cone," said Mabel, she demonstrated how to play.

"My turn!" Said Dipper, grabbing a pine cone and throwing it. Before it even go close to the totem pole it hit a car, and an alarm went off. "Is that a bad thing?" Asked Dipper nervously.

"Jackpot!" Said Wendy holding out her hand for a high five. Dipper stared at it, confused.

"It's a high five," said Wendy, "hold up you hand." Confused Dipper did what she told him. Mabel watched as Wendy high fived Dipper. Dipper stared at his hand. Then a car drove up.

"Wendy!" Called someone from inside.

"Hey guys!" Called Wendy, "Hey Mabel, you won't tell Stan if I leave, right?"

"My lips are sealed," replied Mabel.

"Later dorks," said Wendy sliding down a tree to get to the car. Mabel turned to Dipper who was still staring at his hand he was blushing. Mabel some how instantly knew that Dipper was crushing on Wendy.

"Uh oh!" Teased Mabel.

"What?" Said Dipper looking up from his hand.

"Some one is in love!" Exclaimed Mabel.

"No I'm not!" Said Dipper, a little no fast.

"Yes you are!" Said Mabel she started to dance around him, "Love, love, love, love!"

** Later the Next Day

Dipper had decided to go back to the shack the next day. Mabel's great uncle wasn't in town at the moment, so Dipper wasn't able to meet him. Wendy was telling them a story.

"and then, the boy turned around and the ghost was right behind him!" Said Wendy. Dipper was sitting in his seat fascinated, Mabel had heard this story enough times to tell it her self. She was dusting the jar full of eye balls.

"What happen next?" Asked Dipper.

"He was never heard from again," said Wendy.

"Wow," said Dipper he lean forward in his chair.

"Anyway, on the topic of ghosts, me and my friends are going to hang out at a haunted convince store," said Wendy, "Want to come?"

"Of course!" Dipper leaned forward, then the chair tipped over and Dipper fell flat on his face.

"Hey, you okay?" Asked Mabel.

"Ow..." groaned Dipper, getting up. The clock chimed.

"Quitting time! You guys ready?" Said Wendy.

"Y-yes!" Stuttered Dipper, rubbing his face. The trio left the shack.

"Hi guys," said Wendy.

"Wendy!" Exclaimed her friends.

"Dipper, Mabel, This is Robbie, Thompson, Tambry, Lee, and Nate. Guys, this is Dipper and Mabel," said Wendy.

"Are they related or something?" Asked Lee.

"Nah, we're just friends," said Mabel.

"So are you Babysitting?" Asked Robbie.

"I'm not a baby," said Dipper standing straiter trying to look taller.

"Sure, squirt," teased Robbie. Dipper wanted to conjure up a fire ball and throw it at his face, Dipper may have been new to the human realm but, it didn't sound like squirt was a complement.

"Can we go the convince store already ?" Asked Nate. The teenagers and the two 12 year olds filed into the car. Dipper and Mabel sat in the back together.

"So... what is a convince store?" Whispered Dipper. Mabel looked at him funny before answering.

"It's a store were you can find a little bit of everything I guess," said Mabel.

"Oh, okay," said Dipper.

**

When they arrived at the store Dipper studied it. The sign said Dusk 2 Dawn and the only letter that still lit up was the n.

"Wow, It's even spookier that I imagined," said Wendy.

"I'm not scared," said Robbie.

"Status update, hanging out in a haunted store," said Tambry.

"Let's go in!" Said Mabel, she climbed the fence and jumped down. Once everyone else had climbed over the fence Dipper was the only one left.

"Do you need help kid, or..." said Nate.

"No, I got," said Dipper, he started to climb the fence, he was fast as if he had done it hundreds of times before. Then Mabel realized that in a way he had. He climbed trees a lot. The group went to the door. Robbie tried to open it.

"It's stuck!" Declared Robbie.

"Here, let me try," said Dipper.

"Sure, let squirt here open it, he's so strong," said Robbie sarcastically. At that Dipper marched behind the building. Mabel heard objects clatter to the ground.

"Ha! He didn't even try!" Said Robbie.

"Hey, be nice," said Wendy. Suddenly the door swung open and Dipper was there inside.

"How did you do that?" Asked Mabel in wonder.

"I have my secrets," he said with a smile. He held up his hand for a high five, everyone but Robbie and Tambry who was to busy texting on her phone high fived him. When Wendy gave him a high five Mabel saw Dipper blush. When they were finally all in Mabel looked for a light switch.

"It's dark in here," said Dipper.

"Ya Captain Obvious," said Robbie.

"Cut him some slack," said Wendy, "he's just a kid." Mabel found the light switches and flicked them on. The whole store powered up, making Dipper jump as everything came to life.

"Wow," he said.

"Come on!" Mabel pulled him as she ran around exploring the store. They came up to large shelf, displaying smile dip. "Smile dip!" She exclaimed.

"What's smile dip?" Asked Dipper.

"Smile dip is amazing though it's banned in America," explained Mabel.

"Maybe they did that for a reason," said Dipper, "Now come on, I want to go find Wendy." He dragged his friend away from the smile dip.

"I'll be back for you later," she said staring longingly at the smile dip. When Dipper eventually found Wendy he grabbed three popsicles for the trio.  As the sat and licked their popsicles they started to chat.

"Your really mature for your age, Dipper,"  commented Wendy.

"Uh, ya I am totally mature for my age, which  is Mabel's age!" Said Dipper, nervously. Mabel could tell he was hiding something but what was he hiding why did he not want them to know?

"He guys! Look at this!" Called Lee. They went to were Lee and Robbie were standing. There were two outlines of bodies.

"Lee, I'll give you 5 dollars if you pretend to be a dead body!" Said Nate.

"okay," said Lee. Before he could put his foot in Dipper stopped him.

**

"Wait!" Shouted Dipper. Everyone looked at him, "What if this place really is haunted."

"Take it down a notch Captain Buzzkill," said Robbie.

"Will you stop calling me names!" Dipper said. Mabel could have sworn she saw blue fire flicker for a moment in his hands.

"I'll call you what ever I want!" Argued Robbie.

"I. Said. Stop!" Shouted Dipper.

"Guys, stop arguing," said Wendy.  But it was to late Robbie shoved Dipper cause in him to fall into the outline. Suddenly it started to glow then a Male and Female ghosts appeared.

"Welcome to your graves, trespassers," said the Male ghost.

"Status update, ghosts threatening to kill us," said Tambry while she typed.

"Don't be rude!" Said the female ghost. Suddenly Tambry disappeared.

"AHHH!" Everyone screamed.

"Were's Tambry?!" Shouted Nate.

"Look!" Said Lee. They looked there in the TV was Tambry.

"Thompson! We need to get out of here!" Shouted Lee.

"But I'm about to beat the high score!" Said Thompson.

"No playing video games!" Said the male ghost. Thompson disappeared. Then he reappeared in the video game. The arrows came flying down. Mabel  grabbed the journal and flipped through the pages.

"It says that you need to figure out what the ghost wants!" Said Mabel.

"Pff, like that's right," said Robbie

"Ya, the ghost wants to talk about it's feelings,I'm not buying it," said Lee. Suddenly both of them disappeared and reappeared on the cover of a cereal box.

"Help!" They shouted as the bird on the cover tried to eat them

"We're sorry for hanging out in you store!" Shouted Wendy.

"Can we just go, and never ever come back?" Asked Dipper. He seemed a bit scared.

"Well okay," answered the Female ghost.

"But before you go try the hot dogs their half off," added the Male ghost.

"No way! I'm getting out of here!" Shouted Nate he started to run to the door but disappeared before he could. Then Dipper turned around. He saw that Nate was a hot dog!"No! I'm a hot dog!" Shouted Hot Dog Nate.

"It Begins!" The ghosts said in unison. Suddenly the store was turned upside down. Mabel hit her head.

"Mabel, in here!" Whisper shouted Wendy from a sideways cabinet. Mabel ran inside the cabinet, leaving the door open just a crack so they could see.

"Hey!" Dipper shouted at the ghosts, "Leave my friends alone!"

"We'll leave you alone, if you say your deepest, darkest secret," said the Female ghost.

"Is there anything else I can do?" Asked Dipper.

"NOOOOO!" Shouted the Male ghost.

"Okay, okay..." Dipper took a deep breath, "I'm not from here," he mumbled.

"Good, good," said the Male ghost.

"Now will you let us go?" Asked Dipper.

"Only you and the twelve year old," said the Female ghost.

"But you said you'd let us go!" Shouted Dipper.

"Well, we're not letting the teenagers go. The girl is twelve and you technically aren't any age though you have the body and mind of a twelve year old," said the Female ghost.

"I said leave them alone or Axolotl help me I will rip you two to shreds!" Threatened Dipper. Mabel once again though she saw flickering flames on Dipper's hands. Then he raised his hand and shot a blue fire ball at the ghosts.

"What the..." Mabel said aloud. Wendy clapped a hand over her mouth. Then Dipper conjured his cane out of thin air.

"Leave. Them. Alone." He said. Then he teleported to behind them hitting one with his cane before teleporting. The appearing from a different angle he shot a couple more fire balls at them. He continued to teleport and throw fire balls. Mabel looked at Wendy who had a look of pure terror on her face. Mabel realized that she must have the same expression. Dipper was in the middle of throwing a fire ball when he looked behind him and spotted Mabel and Wendy. He saw their faces. He stopped throwing fire balls and just floated there. Gone was the look of determination, replaced by a look of horror. Then one of the ghosts hit him with some beam. It sent Dipper flying into the cabinet.

"Oh my gosh! Dipper!" Shouted Mabel. Dipper opened his eyes.

"Everything hurts," he said.

"Dipper, what's going on?" Asked Wendy. Dipper scrambled into a sitting position.

"Nothing, you shouldn't have seen that," said Dipper.

"Well we did, what is wrong Dipper. How can you do magic?" Asked Mabel. Dipper looked down at his hands. There was still blue fire. He made them into fists. The flames disappeared.

"I'm not from here," said Dipper.

"Your not from Gravity Falls, we already knew that," said Mabel.

"Right, mortals don't know," muttered Dipper.

"What?" Said Wendy.

"I'm not from this dimension, I'm not a human, I'm not a mortal!" He blurted out. He slapped his hands over his moth.

"What?" Said Mabel confused.

"Look, I'm from a place called the Nightmare Realm the home of Demons. I'm an immortal Demon, every couple days a small rip appears to the human realm and I go through it. I was always told Humans were evil tricksters who manipulate to get what the want but now I'm not so sure," said Dipper.

"So your a demon," said Wendy. Dipper nodded.

"Now do what ever you want, humans don't like my type," said Dipper looking at the floor. Mabel  hugged him. He looked up surprised.

"Your still my friend," she said hugging him tighter.

"Really?" Asked Dipper.

"Ya, your even cooler now man," said Wendy.

"No wonder you didn't know what a convince store is!" Said Mabel. Then a blast came, destroying the top half of the cabinet.

"What am I doing?!" Said Dipper, "I need to stop the ghosts!" He went up to the ghosts.

"What can one of us do to make you leave all of us including the teenagers alone?" Asked Dipper.

"Well, Does the little girl no any funny dance?" Asked the Male ghost.

"Ooooo! Yes a funny dance!" Added the Female ghost.

"Mabel!" Called Dipper, "Do you know any funny dances?"

"I do!" Said Mabel.  She walked up next to Dipper and whispered it into his ear.

"You want me to make you a costume?" He said.

"Yep," she answered.

"Okay." He snapped his fingers ad Mabel was wearing a lamb costume.

"Welllll, who wants a Lamby, lamby, lamby? I do! I do!" She sung dancing. "So go up and greet your mammy, mammy, mammy. So march march around the daisies, don't, don't you forget about the Babyyyyy!" The ghosts disappeared and so did Mabel's lamb costume.

"Well, I'm scared fo life," said Wendy. Then every thing turned right side up again. Dipper landed on his face.

"Ow," he groaned.

Was I the only one who heard Hunger Games music playing in the back ground with the Dipper and ghost fight scene? Probably. I wasn't originally going to do this episode but changed my mind. Also with is way longer that last Chapter at 3087 words. I actually waited to release this chapter because of today is Dipper and Mabel's birthday and I wanted to publish a chapter on the mystery twin's special day. 1 vote = 1 Happy Birthday Mabel and Dipper. Fun fact Mabel is older that Dipper by 5 minutes.
