Con Artist
Con Artist: Joseph King of Dreams
Forgotten Dreamworks Character
"For, You know better than I
You know the way
I've let go the need to know why
I'll take what answers you supply
You know better than I."
Dreams are wonderful arn't they? They inspire us to write, fly and process of assigning meaning to dreams, like Joseph here.
I know I said I'm going in order but Joseph King of Dreams was a direct-to-video and it seems fitting to pick a character after picking a character from Prince of Egypt. Right!?
"She made my coat of many colors
That I was so proud of
As she sewed, she told a story
From the bible, she had read
About a coat of many colors
Joseph wore and then she said
I hope this coat will bring you
Good luck and happiness
And I just couldn't wait to wear it
And momma blessed it with a kiss"
Oops sorry, out of song experience. Sorry but I love me some Dolly Parton and this song works for this movie.
So the character I brought today is the con artist:
He's trying to sell a horse to the captain of the guard, Potiphar.
He tricks Potiphar into paying more by messing with the balance beam.
Joseph points to out to Potiphar that the con artist or thief did something to it.
So Potiphar orders him to be put to death but was that really his fate?
Probably but that is the last we see of him. Buh-bye.
"But they didn't understand it
And I tried to make them see
That one is only poor
Only if they choose to be
Now I know we had no money
But I was rich as I could be
In my coat of many colors
My momma made for me
Made just for me"
