Tyra's POV

Tony dragged my to where Steve was. I growled in annoyance and looked at him.

"Tony I don't think she likes you touching her" Steve commented.

"No shit Sherlock..." I muttered.

"She's fine. She's just stubborn. And finding out she may or may if be related to one of the two gods on this ship is rather unsettling. Yet explains a lot. " Tony replied.

"The hell do you mean a lot ?!" I yelled at him.

"Your a hydra weapon kid. No easy way or nice way to say it. You were being tested on for a reason, in other words they know about gods. So basically your fucked kid" he responded. I growled and went to punch him yet Steve caught my fist.

"Calm down. Fighting won't solve anything" he told me. I sighed and calmed down.

"Fine..." I told him. He smiled.

I rolled my eyes and pulled my hand away. I pulled my hood up and didn't look at them... I want Clint back...

Loki's POV

I twirled the rose between my fingers. I would be escaping soon and if all went to plan I may take my sister with me. Yet for some reason I wanted to shelter her from the carnage. Like I always used to do..

Flashback~

Mother and father had been gone for a while.. almost two months actually. Mother was pregnant when they left. They had told us the baby would probably be born while they were visiting some allies on a different world.

Thor sat impatiently beside me. "When on earth are they going to be back ?!..." he growled.

"Be patient. They can't just appear out of nowhere" I told him, looking back down at the book I had in hand. Thor glanced up at something.

"Oh. Hello Heimdall. Is something wrong ?" My brother asked.

"Your parents have returned. They wish to see you" he said. There was a slightly grim look on his face when I glanced up at him.

Thor didn't care. He simply grabbed me by my wrist and started running.

"Thor! For father's sake slow down !! " I screamed at him.

"But they're back Loki!! Don't you want to see our new sibling !?" He screamed.

"Yes but-"

"Then hurry up!! They're in here !" He screamed interrupting me.

He pushed open the door and we both froze. Father was injured. And mother looked as if she were about to burst into tears.

"What happened ?.." I asked.

"Our allies were lost. We escaped barely with our lives intact... come meet your sister..thankfully she slept through the entire incident..." father answered. We slowly walked over to the small bundle of cloth in mother's arms.

"Would you like to hold her Loki?..." mother asked me. I nodded slowly as she gave me the baby.

Suddenly the tiny girl opened her eyes and looked at me, smiling. Her eyes were bright blue. So bright that in the slight darkness of the room I swore they were glowing.

"Her name is Tyra.." my mother said with a tired smile. Tyra grabbed one of my fingers and hugged it. Thor put an arm around my shoulders as we smiled at our new sister.

She smiled back, now showing two little fangs in her mouth. I glanced at my parent questioningly for a second yet didn't say anything.

"We will protect her forever " Thor said.

"But can you keep that promise ?..." father asked.

I sighed, freezing the rose and then shattering it.

Tyra's POV
Timeskip

I sat on one of the desks in the lab. Steve had wondered off somewhere and frankly if Bruce wasn't here I would have left by now.

Bruce continuously scans with a gamma ray detection scanner on the scepter for radiation. Tony looks at his monitors, shifting and solving as many algorithms and equations... what ever the fuck those were..

"The gamma readings are definitely consistent with Selvig's reports on the Tesseract. But it's gonna take weeks to process." Bruce said.

"Well that's going to be so much fucking fun isn't it ?..." I muttered to myself.

"If we bypass their mainframe and direct a reroute to the Homer cluster, we can clock this around six hundred teraflops." Tony said to Bruce.

"I'm sorry what?" I asked. No one seemed to even know I was here. I sighed.

"All I packed was a tooth brush." Bruce mainly said to himself.

"You know, you should come by Stark Towers sometime. Top ten floors, all R&D. You'd love it, it's candy land." Tony said with a smile.

"More like a high tech bar.." I said.

"Thanks, but the last time I was in New York I kind of broke...Harlem." Bruce said looking away awkwardly.

"Well, I promise a stress free environment. No tension. No surprises." Tony said slowly walking over to Bruce.

Suddenly, Tony pokes Bruce with a miniature electrical prod.

I shot up as Bruce screamed in pain. "Are you fucking crazy !?!" I yelled at him.

"Nothing?" Tony asked Bruce. Steve came in and glared at Tony. Finally someone with fucking sense !!

"Hey! Are you nuts?" Steve yelled at Tony who ignored him.

"You really have got a lid on it, haven't you? What's your secret? Mellow jazz? Bongo drums? Huge bag of weed?" He asked.

"Is everything a fucking joke to you ? " I asked him in response.

"Funny things are." He told me. I growled.

"Threatening the safety of everyone on this ship isn't funny. No offense, doctor." Steve said to Tony then apologising to Bruce.

I smiled slightly.

"No, it's alright. I wouldn't have come aboard if I couldn't handle pointy things." Bruce said looking away. Slightly irritated.

"You're tiptoeing, big man. You need to strut." Tony commented. I rolled my eyes.

"And you need to focus on the problem, Mr. Stark." Steve said with a slight glare. Damn. Insulting and respectful. Good job Steve.

"You think I'm not? Why did Fury call us and why now? Why not before? What isn't he telling us? Why the hell did he keep Tyra alive if he doesn't own on using her ?can't do the equation unless I have all the variables." He said popping a blueberry into his mouth.

Dick head..

"You think Fury's hiding something?" Steve asked.

"No Steve I think he's the most honest man on earth" I said sarcastically.

Tony smirked slightly at my answer. "He's a spy. Captain, he's the spy. His secrets have secrets." Suddenly he pointed at Bruce. It's bugging him too, isn't it?" He asked.

"Uh...I just wanna finish my work here and..." Bruce tries to escape the question yet Steve seemed to make him want to answer.

"Doctor? A beat." Steve said.

Bruce sighed. " 'A warm light for all mankind', Loki's jab at Fury about the cube." He muttered.

"I heard it." Steve replied. We all did.

Bruce pointed at Tony. "Well, I think that was meant for you. Even if Barton didn't post that all over the news." He said.

I sighed in annoyance. Would everyone stop bringing up Clint already ?!..

"The Stark Tower? That big ugly-" Tony glares at Steve."...building in New York?" Steve finished.  It lightened the mood slightly and I laughed a bit.

"It's powered by Stark Reactors, self-sustaining energy source. That building will run itself for what, a year?" Bruce commented.

"That's just the prototype. I'm kind of the only name in clean energy right now." Tony replied.

Blah blah, bragging, blah blah, stark tower blah blah blah. That's all I heard.

"So, why didn't SHIELD bring him in on the Tesseract project? I mean, what are they doing in the energy business in the first place?" Bruce asked.

"I should probably look into that once my decryption programmer finishes breaking into all of SHIELD's secure files." Tony said as he flicked through files on his screen. I growled. That bastard stole my idea !

"You mother fucker !!" I screamed at him. He only smirked.

"I'm sorry, did you say...?" Steve asked being taken back by Tony's comment.

"Jarvis has been running it since I hit the bridge. In a few hours we'll know every dirty secret SHIELD has ever tried to hide. I may even find a bit about you kid." Tony held out a bag of blueberry to Steve who wasn't in the mood. "Blueberry ?" He asked.

"Yet you're confused about why they didn't want you around?" Steve asked. I smirked slightly.

"An intelligence organization that fears intelligence? Historically, not possible." Tony bragged sarcastically.

"If your smart then I'm batman" I told him. He rolled his eyes.

"I think Loki's trying to wind us up. This is a man who means to start a war, and if don't stay focused, he'll succeed. We have orders, we should follow them." Steve said. Fuck.. great he just went back to being another pawn on fury's chess bored.

"Following is not really my style." Tony said. Suddenly Steve smiled.

"And you're all about style, aren't you?" He asked. I felt the tension in the room build. What ever just happened it has hit a nerve for Tony.

"Of the people in this room, which one is; A. wearing a spangly outfit, and B. not of use?" He asked.

"It's you Tony. You just forgot to wear your stupid suit of armour today " I told him. He glared at me which actually made me flinch slightly.

"Steve, tell me none of this smells a little funky to you?" Bruce asked trying to make Steve see what we did.  Steve takes in the possibility, but as an obedient soldier, shakes it off.

"Just find the cube.." he said leaving the room, possibly torn apart by the possibility.
