I was running to the escape pod away from a regeneratore that somehow got on the ship. I turn around and shoot it's legs out with the shotgun feature of the Evangelizer and start running again. Issac and Carver already got out I just need to reach the other pod. A second regeneratore fell out of the vent in front of me, I stasis him and shoot his legs off and run past him. As soon as I reach the escape pod I quickly hit the button to close the door just before they could get me. I quickly punch the release and now I'm floating through space.

Y/n: I hate those guys so much.

I look out the view and saw I was heading towards a planet.

Timeskip Ruby's Pov

Prof Ozpin wants my team to go investigate something that crashed in Forever Fall Forest. We were approaching the object when something crawled out.

???: Stupid suit the system says this planet is oxygen rich I would like some fresh air.

We saw it hit something on his chest a few times before something happened to it's head and it revealed to be a guy. He looks handsome.

???: What was that?

I didn't hear anything but he pulled out a gun and pointed it in the other direction. We saw he had something on his back it was green but it look like it wasn't fully lit up. Three beowolves appeared he fired two single shots at the beowolves killing two and he rushed the last one and fired again, it sounded like a shotgun and the body of the beowolf was in half.

Yang: (quietly) He sure knows how to fight.

Ruby: (Quietly) Yeah, he's handsome too.

Weiss: (Quietly) I didn't expect to hear you say that Ruby.

Y/n's Pov

I was right in front of the bush that had three of four girls talking in it. One wearing red and black, a blonde, someone wearing all white, and someone wearing all black.

Y/n: Well thanks for the complement.

???: Ahhhhh!

The blonde hit me in the gut dropping my health to orange and caused me to cough up blood. I backed up some and kneeled.

Blonde: Sorry, are you okay?

Y/n: Yeah let me catch my breath.

I hit the medkit button on my rig and it auto injected a medkit into my system and healed up the internal bleeding.

Y/n: Ahhh good as new.

Red: Are you sure your fine? Not many people can take a hit like that from my sister.

Y/n: Yeah I'm fine. Now could you girls point me in the direction of the nearest Earthgov outbound communications tower.

White: What?

I hit some of the controls on the rig.

Y/n: Oh this planet isn't part of Earthgov, great. Stranded on another planet away from major civilization, at least it's not a frozen wasteland like the last one.

Red: Vale isn't that far away from here.

Y/n: And that is?

White: It's a city you dunce!

Y/n: Oh good. I'm Y/n Clarke by the way.

Ruby: I'm Ruby.

Blake: Blake.

Yang: I'm Yang, handsome.

Weiss: Weiss Schnee heiress to the Schnee Dust Company.

Y/n: Thanks for the complement, again, Ruby your quite cute yourself.

Ruby: Y-you ummm uh heard that?

Y/n: Yeah, from where I've been and what I've had to fight you have to have keen hearing. So shall we go.

Weiss: We should return to Beacon and tell Ozpin what we found.

Y/n: I'll follow you then.

Timeskip Isaac' s Pov

We popped the hatch and all we see is snow, but there's also trees so maybe not Tau Voltanis.

Carver: Great, the rig says we're not in Earthgov space. So we are on another alien planet! I thought you said we killed everything on that shuttle.

Isaac: It must have slipped on after we did the scan. Come on, let's see if we can find any locals.

We both start heading into the forest. It was only a few minutes since we started, when we started to hear growling.

*growl*

We turn towards the sound to see a pair of glowing red eyes. I pull out my plasma cutter and Carver pulled out his shotgun. What emerged from the bush we didn't expect, it was a black wolf like creature with what looks like a bone mask. It charged at us I shoot it in it's right shoulder cutting off its arm, resulting in it falling and sliding right up to Carver. He raised his shotgun to it's head and fired severing its head off.

Isaac: Think that was one of the locals?

Carver: Definitely one of the inhabitants.

The body started to disintegrate as well as two dozen soldiers came out of the woods.

Timeskip Y/n's Pov

Well I was put in another school ment to kill some creatures. I'm put on the team that found me which is a all girl team, this won't be awkward. 

Ruby: So what are your weapons?

Y/n: (chuckles)

Yang: What's so funny?

Y/n: I was just like her about weapons. Well since you asked.

I pull out my plasma cutter.

Y/n: This is called a plasma cutter, it has a rotator module to rotate the barrel, and it fires a super heated line of plasma that can cut through flesh with ease.

I holster the plasma cutter and pull out my supercharged contact beam.

Y/n: This is a supercharged version of a contact beam, it has two different firing methods, first is a charging shot that charges faster then normal and you don't want to be on the receiving end of it.

Weiss: Why exactly?

Y/n: You'll have a gaping hole in you, the other barrel is ment for when I'm surrounded I put the barrel on the ground and it sends out a strong shockwave out.

I holster the supercharged contact beam and pull out the Evangelizer.

Y/n: This is my favorite it's called the Evangelizer two military engines one with a special directed ejection field barrel that makes it into carbine, the other with a special conic dispersal that makes it better then most shotguns. I heavily modded it with increased clip size and fire rate as well as added a supercharged flame glaze the coats the bullets in a flammable liquid and ignites it when fired. I made it myself too.

I look over to Ruby see she's drooling.

Yang: Uhh... Ruby.

Ruby: Sorry, those sound awesome, so you can fire both barrels at the same time.

Y/n: If I want to dislocate my shoulder again sure. One barrels recoil I can take at a time.

Ruby: Oh but thats still cool you don't have to wait for your weapon to transform to the other to deal with grimm.

Y/n: Uh what?

Ruby: Right you're from another planet. 

Weiss: They are creatures that lack a soul, and are attracted to negative emotions. 

Y/n: Okaaay. 

Blake: They're what you killed when we found you.

Y/n: Thank you for a straight answer.

I pull out my journal and start writing some marker letters about the time so far. At the end I put 'In all honesty it's not to bad here, I could even make a new life here. A better one then what I had back on earth. No more necromorphs and no more unitologists, this place may have it's problems but at least there's no necromorph outbreaks.' As I finish Yang snatches it from my hands.

Yang: Let's see what you were writing.

Yang was making some weird faces trying to figure out what I wrote.

Ruby: Give it back to him Yang!

Y/n: Oh it's alright only two people can understand what I write in there, me and my dad.

Yang puts the journal to my chest.

Yang: Then tell us what it says.

Y/n: All it says is about today.

Yang: I doubt you used over half book for today alone.

Y/n: I write stuff about my adventures with dad.

Yang: oh mind sharing some fun alien stories.

My mind started flashing my near death experiences and somethings I wanted to forget. Without me realizing I started tearing up.

Ruby's Pov 

Y/n started to run from us towards the dorms.

Ruby: What the heck Yang?

Yang: What?

Weiss: You were a little hard on him to open up. 

Yang: I wanted to know more about him before we share a dorm with him.

Weiss: I'm all for knowing more about him but you were pushing to hard.

Yang: I wanted to know more because Ruby clearly likes him and we know too little about him.

Timeskip Y/n's Pov 

I was in my classroom on Orion Station a necromorph fell out of a vent and slaughtered my classmates and my teacher their bodies slowly rose and followed the necromorph and slowly turned into more. Before one of it's blades it me I woke up and sat up in a cold sweat panting. I was in the dorm room everyone still seemed to be asleep or seemed.

???: Y/n?

I grab my plasma cutter and point it over in the direction I heard the voice to see Ruby coming out of the bath room after that I put the gun down.

Ruby: Is everything okay?

Y/n: Yeah I just want a early start on the day.

Ruby: It's one in the morning. Was it something about your past?

Y/n: It is uhh umm... Yeah.

Ruby sat next to me.

Ruby: You want to talk about it?

Y/n: No.

Ruby: It may help.

Y/n: Fine.

Ruby: So what was it about?

Y/n: It was the day my new dad found me.

Flashback Y/n is 12

I was sitting in class doing a test then a alarm sounded and a creature came down. It looked human with spikes where the hands used to be. I ran the farthest cornor from it and everyone just ran around screaming while it hacked and slashed the kids when they got close till it was me and the teacher she wasn't near me but the creature leaped onto her and started to eat her. When her screaming stopped all I could hear was my whimpering and crying and the creature slowly got up and leapt again towards me. I looked down, I didn't want to see my reaper's face but the reaper isn't getting me today it seems.

*bang* *bang* *bang* 

I slowly look up to see the creature was dead it's leg and both arms were cut off. 

???: Hey you alright kid.

I slowly shook my head yes. I look up to the guy and saw he took off his helmet.

Y/n: Yes sir.

Isaac: I'm Isaac, what's your name?

Y/n: I'm Y/n L/n.

Isaac: Why don't you come with me I'll keep you safe.

Y/n: Thanks sir.

Flashback End

Y/n: Before we left he checked out my home and found both my parents dead. After we found out what happened he offered me if he wanted me to be his son, I said yes. I still have nightmares about that day but since I had dad I knew he keep me safe. But being away from him doesn't make me feel safe even if I know how to fight.

Ruby: It must have been hard witnessing that. 

Y/n: Y-yeah it was.

Ruby: Do you want me to sleep with you it might make you feel safer?

Y/n: I... I would like that.

Ruby: Ok.

She got up and got a pillow from her bed and slipped into the sleeping bag with me and we drifted asleep together.
