Aya opened her eyes, recalling all of the dreams that she had. She stared out of the window, her mind blank and didn't know what to think. She walked down the stairs absentmindedly and tripped 3 steps down. Yamato saw her and laughed. "Whoa, Aya easy there!"

"Oh, g-gomen Nii-san," was all she said and proceeded to eat at the dinning table to have their breakfast that Yamato prepared for them.

"Oh yeah, are you going with Taiga and Tetsuya to that basketball street play today? Teppei called and invited us to play with them but I think I'll pass this time. I still have to attend interviews from the schools that wants to take me in so I'll pass. What about you Aya?" he rambled while eating with his mouth full.

He n1oticed his sister quiet letting him pause from eating. "Aya." he called her but she didn't answer. "AYA" his voice got louder. She snapped out of her thoughts and looked at her brother. "Y-yeah?"

"You were spacing out. Is there something wrong?" Yamato looked at her worriedly and gulped the food he was chewing. Aya looked at his brother and shook her head giving a sly smile. 

"Don't worry Nii-san, I'm okay," she cleared her throat. "You were saying about street basketball?"

"Oh yeah..." Yamato didn't believe her answer but let it slide. "I was asking if you wanted to come," Aya nodded her head as both of them smiled. "Good, so I guess I'll ask Taiga to pick you up?" he said.

"Okay." she nodded and continued to dazedly eat her breakfast. 'I wonder what's wrong' Yamato thought.

TIMESKIP.

Someone knocked at the Tsubasa's door as Aya went to open the door revealing Taiga and Tetsuya standing at their front door. They were there to pick her up as Yamato appeared behind Aya. "Hi there, Taiga, Tetsuya," he saluted with his lips curled the way Shinji's were.

"Hello there Yamato-senpai," Taiga and Tetsuya replied in unison. "We're here to pick Aya up?" Yamato nodded and looked at Aya.

"You should get your things," he ordered her. All she did was nod and disappeared upstairs to get her gym bag. Taiga and Tetsuya watched her; wondering about her attitude today. She was unusually quiet.

"What's wrong with her senpai? She seems spaced out..." Taiga commented. Yamato looked at him then back upstairs where Aya disappeared to. "She's not herself today," Taiga added at the quiet Yamato.

He turned his head back to Taiga and just smiled. "Don't worry about her. She's just thinking about something. I'm sure she'll figure it out," he  turned to Tetsuya. "Right Tetsu?" Tetsuya responded with a nod.

"If you say so..." Taiga trailed off.

Aya arrived with her gym bag, wearing her normal sports clothes and also wore wrist bands and around her ankles too. Her purple hair was tied in a pon tail as she threw her gym bag at Taiga. It was too heavy so Taiga's hands collapsed under the bag.

"Oi! What's in this bag?! It's too damn heavy!" he complained his eyes whitening.

"Oh, just some basketball stuff that you'll need. Water, towels, and other things. I figured I'd bring it for you guys since I won't be playing basketball there," she replied, crossing her arms. "Besides, playing there could create extra training for you guys."

"Extra training?" Aya smirked at them. "I'll tell you later," she started walking. "C'mon we don't have all day!"

They arrived at venue and met with their teammates. "Aya-chan, you came!" Shinji chirped approaching her. Aya smiled and nodded. "We tried calling you yesterday but you didn't pick up. Did you have any plans yesterday?"

"Oh, I uh--nothing. I guess I forgot to turn-on my cellphone yesterday and left it in my room. I spent the whole day watching TV," she answered. Shinji and the other players just nodded and proceeded to where they have to sign-up their names in order for them to play.

Aya waited at the bench with her bag and looked around. A figure suddenly appeared beside her as her head raised itself meeting a large figure before her. "S-So big..." she stared in awe at a light purple haired giant whose staring down at her.

"Aya-chin, you're here too!" he exclaimed. She shifted away from him a little; scared because of his height. "Now, now don't you remember? It's me!" he stated. "Murasaki-kun," he introduced himself to her. Aya had a short flashback in her mind as her eyes widened. "You--" "But I guess Aka-chin doesn't want me talking to you about that," he sighed turning his back at her.

"Wait, Akashi's here?" Aya questioned standing and holding his shirt at the back. Atsushi looked down at her meeting her purple eyes. "Where's Akashi? I need to talk to him!"

"Aka-chin's not here," Atsushi stated facing her as she let go of his shirt.

"Where is he?"

"How should I know?"

"Murasaki-kun!" she pouted, stomping her feet.

 Atsushi laughed at her and patted her head. He moved his face down so it was facing hers and gave a creepy smile. "Same Aya-chin as always," he chuckled and looked to his right then became aware. "I'll see you sometime Aya-chin" he walked away from her.

She stared at him until he disappeared. "Aya-san, let's go," Tetsuya appeared beside her. She was pretty startled at first then relaxed with a sigh.

"R-Right," she said and took her gym bag then joined the rest of the team leaving Tetsuya there standing. 'That's weird, she usual doesn't get startled at me' he thought to himself then followed the team afterwards.

"Mushi Mushi," Atsushi answered his phone while eating a chocolate before their first game at the street play started.

"Atsushi," a voice said.

"Oh, hi Aka-chin. I saw Aya-chin today."

"I know. I was there."

"Oh, so you're going to join the street play as well?"

"Hmm, maybe I could have a bit of entertainment from that Kagami person."

"Oh him... he is interesting."

"I guess I'll see you at the court Atsushi."

"Bye Aka-chin."

"Oh!" Aya snapped staring blankly at the court.

"What's wrong Aya?" Teppei asked concerned, who was sitting beside her. She blinked her eyes and remembered the guy she just met earlier: Atsushi.

"Oh nothing, I just remembered something," she replied, turning her head at him. Teppei blinked and smiled at her. "Well that's good."

also I've been addicted to DEATH NOTE so I haven't had any ideas. And L is so hot I'm gonna die. hihi
