"Today's the day..." Riko said standing in the gym looking serious. The Seirin players gulped and all looked serious. They were all staring at the gym wall, waiting for some certain people. "It's time to know..." Junpei mentioned. They heard footsteps approach the gym and braced themselves. "Here they come!" Shinji exclaimed sweat dropping on his forehead. "Me too, I haven't seen the results yet!"  Aya entered the gym with Tetsuya and Taiga with her. "I want to see it in the gym so the senpais... s-senpais?" she wondered looking at the older students. They were all staring at them, it weirded them out. "O-Oi senpais, stop it, it's really creepy..." Aya gushed looking at the ground and covering her eyes to avoid the stares at her. "Don't give me that attitude! What's your score in the exam?!" Riko exclaimed. "Oh, right..." Aya uttered touching her cheek with her finger. "Here" she showed her exam paper. Riko took it and scanned the whole paper and then checked the score that made her scream. "What's the matter coach?!" Junpei asked worried. Riko's face whitened as Junpei took the sheet from her and made the same face, same with Izuki, and Shinji. "What's the matter guys?" Teppei spoke and took the paper from them. His eyes widened. "Just tell us the score already!" Taiga yelled impatient. Aya took the paper from Teppei and smiled. "Look Taicchi, I got a 99 over 100 score!" the score was finally revealed. "99 over 100?! Your higher than I scored!" Teppei marvelled in awe. "Why Teppei-senpai, what did you score?" Aya asked him. "Uh, 50 I think" Teppei revealed. 'He almost failed!' the team thought staring eyes whitened. "How about you Taicchi, Kuro-chan?" Aya questioned the duo.

Tetsuya showed his paper and revealed an 88 over 100 and Taiga who scored a perfect one. "A PERFECT SCORE?!" they exclaimed in disbelief. Izuki grabbed the paper from Taiga and scanned it from top to bottom. "He answered it all correctly!" the team shouted all at the same time. The three freshmen just sweat drop and looked emotionless. "All right then!" Riko piped doing a fist pump with a smirk. "We're ready for Shutoku!" "Yeah!" everyone cheered doing the same gesture. While Aya just smirked to herself, her blood boiling from excitement. "I'm ready!" she grinned fist pumping catching everyone's attention. "I'm ready to fight Shutoku!" she smiled planting on one on everyone's faces too.

LATER THAT NIGHT.

Boink. Another missed shot was thrown by Shintaro Midorima. He was early for practice as usual, and was doing some practice shots. Aya was the second who entered the gym and noticed Shintaro practicing. She observed him for a while. He wasn't that bad of a shooter. He made several shots that went in. But others miss. She noticed it grew him frustrated. "Oi, Midori-chan" she called him walking closer. 

"Tsubasa, you're early too, where's Kuroko and Akashi? Aren't they with you?" Midorima responded pushing up his glasses.

"Well they're on cleaning duty today, so Aka-kun told me to go ahead" Aya replied sitting on the bench. Shintaro made another shot but missed. "You don't like missing shots do you?" Shintaro looked at her. "Of course I don't like it, efforts are wasted if you don't miss any shots" he pushed up his glasses.

"Then let me tell you a trick" she smiled. Shintaro looked at her in his normal face, waiting for her answer. Aya took the ball from him and positioned her arms. She took a shot not checking if it would go in, but it did anyway. "For me, you just have to have right aim, angle and power to have a perfect shoot"

"Isn't that what you really need to have?" Aya sweat dropped feeling embarrassed. "Well I... I think you just have some faith and just..." Shintaro sighed shaking his head at her. "So you're saying I just have to believe in myself and my shots will go in?" Shintaro cleared. Aya just nodded her head. "And just believe in your luck!" she added.

"Luck..."

"Uhm, Midori-kun, what is that?" Aya pointed at the bowl of mushrooms in Midorima's hands. It looked icky. And it disgusted the players.

"It's my lucky charm for today" he answered placing the bowl on the bench.

"Oi Midorima! Get that thing out of here! It looks disgusting!" Aomine hollered pointing at him. "You're so noisy Aomine" Midorima sighed and pushed his glasses up. "I guess I'll go wash it outside" he exited the gym and rinsed the mushrooms.

"What is wrong with him seriously?" Aomine scratched the back of his head. "Lucky charm?" Kise wondered. Aya shook her head then smiled. "Oi, how can you still smile like that when the gym smells like fungus because of Midorima's lucky charm?" Aomine poked Aya's cheek. "Because he believes" she simply answered. "He believes?" Aomine wondered scratching his head. "It's too much for you to take in Aoi-chan" Aya waved it off. "Hai, let's start practicing!" she clapped her hands.

Next day.

The Seirin players started to walk into the gym. All looked nervous, because Shutoku is a strong team. Plus they have the Generation of Miracles' shooting guard; Shintaro Midorima. But they still believed they'd win because they've done it before. "Taicchi looks serious, I'm not used to it" Aya broke the silence in the changing room. "Wha-SINCE WHEN DID YOU GET HERE?!" they exclaimed surprised about Aya's presence in the room. She blinked her eyes several times then laughed at them. "I was watching you guys change the whole time!" she beamed. "WHAT?!" screams were heard from outside the room.

"What's the commotion all about--AYA?!" Riko widened her eyes. Some of the players were still shirtless and Aya was standing near a shirtless Tetsuya and a dressed Taiga. "WHY YOU!" "AHHH!" the players screamed and paper fan slapping were heard from outside. They proceeded to the court and saw the Shutoku team. Aya saw Shintaro and remembered her dream from last night. She didn't snap out of her trance at him until Taiga talked to her. "Oi, Aya, you okay?" Aya shook her head. "Y-Yeah" she stammered. Little did she know, Tetsuya saw the way she looked at him. 'She remembers him?' he thought hesitantly. "All right! Let's get ready for Shutoku!"

Ugh sorry for the chapter!! >.< Im on writers block because of school :((((  ugh and I’ll be updating every Friday from now on, i think. I’ll update if i have time though :)) sorry :(
