It's not a date [26]
"GAHHHH!!!!!!!" Aya screamed realizing that she forgot to ask for Ryota's number. Taiga flinched at her voice then covered her mouth because they were getting everyone's attention in the train.
"What's wrong Aya-san?" Tetsuya asked Aya who had her eyes widened while checking her phone. She turned to Tetsuya while and cried. "I FORGOT TO GET KI-CHAN'S NUMBER!" she whined then cried. Taiga face palmed while Teppei patted her back, just smiling sheepishly.
Her crying stopped when Tetsuya showed her his phone with a text message from Ryota.
From: Kise-kun
Hey Kurokocchi! Ayacchi forgot to ask me my number when she hugged me. She's so cute! Anyways, tell her to just meet me at the Maiji burger for our date. Thanks!
"But it's not a date!" Aya frowned reading Ryota's text message. Teppei put his arms on her shoulders in a brotherly manner and ruffled her hair.
"Aww, our Aya-chan has a date!" he teased her making her pout and remove his arm from her. "It's not a date!" she whined stomping her feet, not caring if everyone in the train is looking at her. The team all laughed at her as she blushed and continued to pout.
Looking at her teammates happy faces, she felt a warm feeling from inside her making her smile. 'Well I haven't felt this for a long time' she said to herself and smiled.
'Wait does this mean Tetsuya and Aya aren't dating?'
'Oh yeah, Aya likes Akashi, doesn't she?'
'No TetsAya?'
'I knew they didn't like each other!' were the thoughts of some of the Seirin players when they stopped laughing.
"Hey Aya-chan, why don't I help you pick your dress for your date huh?" Riko joined in the teasing then laughed with the team.
"Hey, I didn't know you had a fashion taste in clothes--" Taiga got punched at the stomach by Riko with a nerve pop on her head. Aya laughed at them with Taiga rubbing his stomach. "I was just kidding, jeez"
TIME SKIP. MAJI BURGER.
Aya was waiting at the Maji Burger while drinking her favorite drink, mango juice. Her chin rested on her palm as she sat quietly on the chair, looking out at the blue sky. She suddenly remembered Tetsuya's blue eyes that were the same color as the sky.
"You're early as usual, Ayacchi" Ryota arrived smiling at Aya. He wore something casual. (A/N: I suck at describing clothes) Just a light blue top with jeans and rubber shoes. And Aya wore one of her casual dresses that dropped until above her knees with sandals.
"Sorry, I set my alarm clock by an hour in advance so I got here early" Aya reasoned a blush creeping on both of her cheeks. Ryota smiled at her.
"So, are you ready for our date?" he asked her as she shot a questioning look. "It's not a date, Ki-chan! You asked me to HANG-OUT with you?" she emphasized on 'hang-out' while air quoting with her fingers. Ryota chuckled. "Fine, are you ready for our HANG-OUT?" he burst out emphasizing on 'hang-out' as well.
Aya smiled. "Okay" She laced her arms with Ryota's as they both walked out the fast food restaurant.
They had their HANG-OUT at the arcade, bought some candy, and even played with the drivers at the road. Aya loved doing that, and she even pulled Ryota with her in annoying some thugs and running after them. Ryota was scared as hell but Aya just laughed. She can take them down like they were preschoolers.
They climbed across a wall and met a basketball court. Aya's eyes flickered at the sight of it as she grabbed Ryota's hand and lured him to the court. "Let's play Ki-chan!" she tugged his shirt and took the ball that was lying on the ground and did some dribbling.
"Hey Ayacchi" Ryota called Aya who glanced at him. He thought about Aya's memories. Did they return? Did she remember him already? And did she remember the times she rejected him? "Do you... remember...?" he pondered.
Aya's face turned serious and did a quick shot that got in the ring. Ryota wasn't surprised at all by her skill. If she was in the team, she'd probably be named one of the Generation of Miracles too. She was the one who thought them their special abilities and helped them develop it.
She was the one who created them.
"No, not really. I do remember some of my days, but the rest are just story told. Kuro-chan did some explaining" Aya answered picking the ball from the ground and stared at it. Ryota approached her and smiled. "Let's go for a few rounds?" Aya beamed and nodded.
After they did some playing, both of the players collapsed on the bench and caught their breaths."Ki-chan, how close were we?" Aya snapped smiling at Ryota. He smirked and straightened up. "I guess... we were really close, I really like you Ayacchi"
"You're too forward Ki-chan" Aya sweat dropped.
"Did you know you rejected me 47 times?" Ryota mentioned making Aya's face widened. "REALLY?!" "W-Wait, that was just during the 1st year we met, so if I add the other times..." Ryota counted with his fingers. "You rejected me 291 times"
"WHAT!? How did you manage to count that?!" Aya exclaimed in disbelief. "I didn't count, Akashicchi did" Ryota answered, as Aya stiffened. "A-Akashi..." she thought of the red haired guy in her dreams. Ryota nodded. "Yeah, he always rubbed it in my face on how many times you rejected me"
"Well that's rude..." Aya commented.
"Did Kurokocchi tell you about him?" Ryota asked turning to her with her face parallel with her lap.
"O-Oh, no not really, just one story, and yeah..." Aya trailed off remembering that story of Tetsuya's again. "Can you tell me about him? I'm curious"
