Generation Of Miracles [6]

Aya

I was walking with Taicci and Kuro-chan. cleaning the gym is so much fun! I didn't understand why Taicchi is afraid of Tetsuya #2 here. He's just cute! "Woof!" the dog barked at me, it's tongue lying loose out of it's mouth. "Kawaii!" I cooed blushing at the dog's cuteness. "Kuro-chan, can I hold him?" I requested with a nodding response from Kuro-chan. He handed me Tetsuya #2 or rather Kuro-chan #2 to me. "Look Taicchi! He's so cute!" I shoved Kuro-chan #2 towards him as he backed away. "Get that thing away from me!" Taicchi stuttered, his eyes whitened. I don't understand why he's afraid of dogs.

"Kuro-chan" I called him. He was beside me and Taicchi was walking ahead of us. Probably trying to stay away from Kuro-chan #2. "Why is Taicchi afraid of dogs?" I asked. "I don't know, I think he was chased by a dog when he was little" Kuro-chan replied bluntly. "Eh? Really?" Aya said. Kuro-chan just nodded looking at Taiga.

We were eating at a fast food as Taicchi shoved tons of burgers in his mouth. He's a big eater. I watched  him eat his meal while sipping on some chocolate milkshake. This milkshake is good! I turned to Kuro-chan who was also sipping on his drink. "Oi Kuro-chan, what drink did you buy?" I asked while he quietly sipped his drink. "Vanilla milkshake" he answered simply and continued.

Third Person's POV

"Taicchi, when did you start playing basketball" Aya snapped causing for Taiga to pause but continued eating anyway. "Why did you suddenly ask that?" he replied with his mouth full of food. "I was just curious" was Aya's answer. "Well, I start playing when I was little, with a friend of mine" he answered remembering the times when he was in America. "I see, how about you Kuro-chan?" Aya now questioned the phantom. "Hm, I don't really remember" Tetsuya said putting a sweat drop on Taiga and Aya's heads. "Never mind" Aya waved it off. "So, what's your next game?" she questioned again while the two players still enjoyed their meals. "Hm, we're playing against Shutoku, and with one of the Generation Of Miracles, Shintaro Midorima" Taiga answered. "Generation of Miracles?" Aya wondered. She currently has no idea who those prodigies are. She blinked at Taiga who looked at her like she was crazy. "Huh? You don't know who they are?" he asked. She shook her head in response. Taiga smirked. "They're a group of prodigies who has unbelievable skill in basketball, and I'm going to beat them"

"Wow, that must be a strong team" Aya said in awe. "Yes, but they're scattered to different high schools now" he explained. "Aw, that sucks, I wish I've seen them play and see how good they are" she pouted resting her chin on her palm. "Huh, I thought you and Tetsuya went to the same school during middle school? You saw him at the gym remember? At Teiko?" Taiga wondered while Tetsuya just kept quiet. "Oh yeah, we just visited Teiko for the last time before I was home-schooled" Aya explained putting a sad look on Tetsuya's face. "Why were you home-schooled anyway?" Taiga was now asking questions about her. "Oh, I had an accident before my last year in middle school, my brother was paranoid that it would happen again and doesn't want me to leave the house so he just home schooled me, and he enrolled me to school far from here and then I paused for a while and then here I am, in Seirin" she told her story. Taiga didn't seem to catch up but Tetsuya understood all of it. "Oh never mind Taicchi" she just waved it off. Taiga just shrugged as he finished his last burger.

"Goodbye Kuro-chan!" Aya waved as she and Taiga separated ways with Tetsuya. They're houses were just close to each other. If that wasn't true then they wouldn't meet at the street court where Taiga normally practices. "Alright I am so excited to play with Shutoku again!" Taiga marvelled curling his fist with determination. "Who are you talking to?" Aya questioned. "Talking to yourself isn't healthy you know" she pointed out creating an annoyed mark on Taiga's head. "Shut up! I wasn't talking to myself!" Taiga hollered his eyes whiten in annoyance. "Then who are you talking to? You must be crazy for seeing other people when we're the only two here in the street, unless you can see ghosts I can consider that" Aya teased Taiga leaving him behind while smiling. "O-Oi! Wait up!" Taiga chased after her. "No, don't come near me crazy person!" Aya laughed running away from Taiga as he chased her. "WHO ARE YOU CALLING CRAZY?!"

TIME SKIP. Aya sleeping.

"Huh? Generation of Mira--" before Aya could finish the article title, the magazine she was reading was swatted away from her. She looked up to see her brother Yamato with a smile on his face. "O-Oi Nii-san! I was reading that!" she complained. "Come on; don't waste your time reading about that! Let's play shogi!" he challenged with a grin throwing the magazine somewhere in the living room. "Eh?" she raised an eyebrow. Yamato always challenged her, but he always loose. She’s beaten him a hundred times. You can say she's an expert/ "Fine, but if I win you let me read in peace okay?" she said with her brother grinning. "YES!" he fist pumped.

"What? I lose again?!" Yamato screamed in disbelief. Aya beat him again. Aya yawned in boredom, her chin already leaning on her right palm and lazily looked at her brother. "Ok, you lose, leave me alone" she stated and grab the magazine she was reading again. "One more! One more!" Yamato insisted. "NO! Leave me alone!" she shot and locked herself in her room. She finally read the full article. "Generation Of Miracles, Ryota Kise, Shintaro Midorima, Daiki Aomine, Atsushi Murasakibara and... Seijuro Akashi..." she read.

"Ah!" Aya sat up from her bed. She thought of her dream. 'Is that another memory?' she thought and looked around the room. 'I'm pretty sure I had the magazine here somewhere' she said to herself as she turned on her light. She scanned through her drawers and saw the magazine. She hasn't thrown it yet. She flipped through the pages and found the article in her dream. "It was a memory" she confirmed. She read all about the players of the GoM for the whole night. "So that's the Generation of Miracles" she said staring at the article. "Oi, Shintaro Midorima, it's the guy Taicchi was talking about... is the shooting guard and normally throws perfect shots through the ring" she read then smirked. "They're interesting..."
