It was the middle of Summer, the summer before sophomore year of high school. Jamie had been looking forward to 10th grade, but her parents had different ideas. Her dad had gotten a new job, but it was in Florida. Jamie and her family had been spending most of the summer getting prepared to move, but, of course, Jamie wasn't having it. She had basically grew up in Enderia, making friends, breaking out of her she'll of social anxiety, and facing many enemies. She had even found love. When the day had arrived to move, her friends from Joyous were all there to say goodbye, the very people to change her life. Her friends had always been there for her- Oliver and Jake had been like brothers to her, Jennie was a weird small child that Jamie was glad she was friends with, Sunny and Peony were the closest people to Jamie for a long time, Sebastian had always been able to comfort her, and Jacob... The first person she truly fell in love with. Everyone else went home after saying their goodbyes, except Jacob, because he was Jamie's next-door neighbor. Jamie and Jacob hugged each other that they wished would last forever, and Jacob kissed Jamie on the cheek. Jamie released the hug and whispered to Jacob, "i'll come back one day... I promise." Then she left. Jacob had promised himself to wait for Jamie, the first girl to be truly in love with, after she said those very words. He didn't care how long it would take... He just wanted her back.
