||Adoration to Aset||
Salutations to the great lady of the west,
From whom life has progressed,
Salutations to the great magician,
She who creates illusions to test our devotion to life's true mission.
Born of tears, strengthened by pain,
Oh Mother, you are of many names,
Your love is the power that made the world,
Your rage will be its end.
You are the fire that protects your husband,
Your grace surpasses all,
You reside in the heart of this mortal,
You are my every and all.
You are eternally youthful,
Your shade is brighter than a thousand stars,
Red adorns your graceful frame,
While the sun sits upon your head.
You are the guardian of many,
A queen in her own right,
You are the divine mother,
We all are your child.
You are the one who made the skies,
You are the one who adorned it with stars,
You are the one who creates tides and eclipses,
Mother, you are the quintessence of the Supreme!
You are the thunder that befalls upon the sinners,
You are the rains that bless the barren land,
Mother, you are merciful and kind,
Says all who dwelled upon this land.
You are the beloved wife and sister of Ausar,
The greatest king of all,
He who protects the souls of every mortal,
He who bestows peace and prosperity.
You are the loved mother of Heru,
The great lord of the horizon,
He who makes the enemies of humanity tremble in fright,
Blessing us with wisdom and light.
You are the sister of Sutekh,
And to that of Nebet-Het,
She who guides us in the last journey of our lives,
He who resides in the stillness of the desert sands.
You are the music,
That flows all over the world,
You are each and every word uttered,
And the silence impenetrable,
Hail Aset, the great mother!
You are the brightest star in the night sky,
You are the oceans whose depths are a precarious riddle,
You are the brute of the man and a woman's dignity,
You are both, woman and man: one in body, one in soul.
You have innumerous forms,
Yet, you are without a form,
You are here with us in every minuscule particle,
Yet you are nowhere to be seen,
For you are the vast mysterious one.
You are the pen with which I write
You are the voice with which I invoke you,
You are the sovereign of the sun rays,
And the sorceress who can heal every disease.
You are the pain, you are the pleasure,
You are the earth, you are the endless cosmos,
You are life's light and death's darkness,
You are the beginning and the end,
You are all, great Aset!
You are the one whose name they wail five times a day,
You are the one for whom the carols are made,
Yet they demean you,
But you forgive them always, for a mother cannot hurt her children.
Thus here ends the hymn to the great mother,
For a million words cannot contain her glory,
May she bless us with wisdom and strength,
Such I plead to her divine feet.

The chilly winds hitherto blow,
Comes from where and goes somewhere,
Somewhere unknown.
It travels beyond the realms,
That mortal 'logic' fails to perceive,
Going to its creator perhaps,
Perhaps to its nourisher.
Or maybe it comes,
To a simple sleeping mortal,
Someone who deep down in their subconscious,
Wishes for liberation.
It perforates through the mental gates,
Separating the world of consciousness,
It flutters the locks of dreams,
Dreams, which takes us far, far away from home.
White is what we perceive,
Light, light, never-ending light
Breaking the darkness,
The darkness of our minds.
There's nothing we can see,
Bathed in the light,
Washed away in bliss of,
The divine other light.
But if we force into it,
Try to see behind its veils for once,
We might find her;
The eternal essence of the cosmos.
We see her, dancing amongst the stars,
Amongst the nebulae with a shade so green,
We see her, dancing upon the planets,
Her feet dispersing vigour and sustenance.
There's nothing we can feel,
As our bodies dance to her rhythm,
We bow our head in honour,
Lost in an elation golden, forgetting all attachment.
But no sooner would we wake,
Forgotten would be the 'dream',
One would go back again,
Back again to heed their material needs.
But oh, but oh, if once we do truly realise,
Released we all would be,
No dismay, disdain or anguish would touch us ever,
For we would be liberated from this world of immorality and revenge.
That what Isis is, the essence of the cosmos,
That is what Isis is the healer of the soul.

Note; Isis/Aset is a goddess who is a timeless expression of the Divine Feminine; she is as relevant today as she was in ancient times. Devoted to empowering others, Isis supports the awakening of humanity as we head into a new World Age. She brings value and respect to the roles of wife and mother, is the patron of magic, nature, and healing, and is considered a protector of the dead.
I feel a deep connection with her, and she is a constant inspiration for me, encouraging me to follow my dreams and be fearless and be ready to do anything to protect those whom I love.
