"So you're with Gale now huh?" Patricia, the schools most popular girl and brat said, leaning on Danna's locker when she arrived with Gale.

Danna said nothing and kept her gaze down, walking to class.

"It's surprising that you would land a guy like that, what did you do?" Patricia kept pestering her, following her as she gave a wink to some class mate checking her out.

Danna still said nothing, they said that if you would leave a person who bullies you alone, not speaking to them they would get bored and leave...right?.

"Come on stop ignoring me!, It's a shocker for someone like you who has a flat chest and a flat backside to have a hot guy like him so tell me what you did!" Patricia almost yelled.

"Did you sleep with him or something? Is that it ?"

Danna turned around making Patricia bump into her and glared hard at her.

"I might not have what you might have but that doesnt mean for me to pick a guy I need to look like some hooker" Danna spat, Patricia widened her eyes in surprise.

She then lands a slap on Danna's face, whipping her head to the side to see a sore red mark, Danna takes a moment to realise what was happening, the girl just hit her!.

She looked down as the girl shouted insults at her, but her words only came out the other ear.

Anger pumps in her veins and for the first time Danna curled her fists, knowing what she was going to do.

But then suddenly Danna  felt her fist land  on her  face.  She stumbled backwards and blood trickled from her nose.

Strike one.

Patricia flips her hair and turned to leave, but Danna smacked her hand on her shoulders roughly pulling her back.

"You ain't going anywhere" She venomly whispered,

After that Danna didn't know who threw the first punch, but suddenly her fist was slamming into her face .

Blood pooled in her mouth as Danna punched her that second time, but her hit was weak and inexperienced. They stumbled apart for a brief second to catch their breaths before diving back at each other, eyes narrowed in determination.

Patricia clawed at her eyes but Danna twisted her wrist making her cry out, before Danna could do any more damage one arm wrapped around her waist,lifting her away from a struggling Patricia as her boyfriend also tore her away from Danna.

Danna struggled agaist his arms until she calmed down a ms hung limp from him, when she turned to thank him she expected to see her boyfriend Gale but met the harsh cold eyes of Noah.

He hawled her out the corridor and the growing stared of the crowds who now whispered and held her against the wall for a minute till the principal who was called walked passed the scene.

"T-thank you" Danna avoided his eyes, noticing that they were now walking out side with his arms still wrapped around her waist.

"Don't mention it " He murmured before lighting a cigarette, taking long drags from it.

"What was all about?" He turned to look at her.

"Nothing...don't tell Gale" Danna didn't want more problems.

Noah gazed at her, his eyes turning soft for a moment, smoke coming out of his mouth.

"Sure"

" I want to move" Was the first thing Danna said to her parents the next day.

In the end Lilith and Sam found out what had happened over some radio report and they were already grounding her from going to a club in the first place.

Sam snapped his head at her in astonishment, her words settling in.

"You want to move? Where?"

"No I need to move, if I have a stalker he's probably going to follow and try to kill me if I stay, and I don't know where just far away"

Yes she told her parents that she had a stalker, she wasn't that kind of person to keep that kind of information from them, if she wanted to be safe, telling them was the best choice.

"But what about that damned culprit?, we can't leave him running around city freely" Sam protested, standing up.

"I can't live like this! I don't want to go to court, I don't want any part of this!, the police is already looking into it and really now I don't care what happens!" Danna bursted out, holding her head as tears threatned to come out, she didn't want to cry again.

"Well we can do that" Sam looked at his wife hesitently as she sliced another piece of cheescake from the codes table in the living room.

"Well I can just ask my work place to transfer me to another retail shop" Lilith worked for a clothing shop sadly for her, her dreams of becoming a dentist crushed when she wasn't accepted at a young age.

"Yeah sure we can work with that, we've got enough money to move anyway, we'll see when we can leave" Sam nodded, understanding Danna's motives.

"Oh and can I borrow your car? I'm going to visit Melly" Danna held her hand out, Sam handed her the car keys whilst looking at her with worry.

Smiling she left the house, slipping into their black Ford car and reversing out their drive way.

Sam glanced back at his wife, his eyebrows creased.

"Do you think this is the right thing to do? To leave a man like that running around hurting people" He looked through the cupboards, searching for his bottle of whiskey.

"Sam we can't have Danna like this, this is way too bad, it's effecting her mentally, I think it's the best choice...Oh and Sam?" Lilith clapsed his hands, stopping him from looking for his whiskey.

" I think its best that we go back, it might help her with her memories, her friends have been calling" She continued, Sam looked down at her in deep thought, his tall frame almost intimidating her.

Maybe going back will help her, and help her forget that all these incedents ever happened.

"Yes, yes your right..." They both sat down on their couch, listening to the TV play in the background.

"I still want to bring that man to court..., If anything happens-"

"Yes darling I know, but for now I think it's best that we think of Danna, we can move her to the college where she used to live"
They both nodded silently, a plan forming in their minds.

"Hey Mells.." Danna said, grabbing her frail hands, Melly looked back at her in joy as she lay in the hospital bed.

Melly had a broken leg and a broken arm, Danna didn't know what had happened after she fainted and she was already feeling guilty for leaving her vulnerable from the attacker.

Seeing that having diabetes didn't help her state she stayed longer than Danna in the hospital.

But she was recovering wonderfully.

"What happened while I was stuck here?"

Danna looked down at her with sadness, nothing good ever happened to her anymore.

"I'm moving" She almost whispered, watching her best friends face crumble at the news.

"What? Why?"

"Sam is needed somewhere else far from here, I don't know when I'm moving but yeah"  Danna lied, it was for the best that she didn't know that it was her fault Melly was like this.

Melly sat up from the hospital bed, noticing the pink drawings on her the casts that covered her leg and arm.

"Well don't forget to call, everyday..." Melly hicupped, watching Danna as she stroked her hands.

"I promise" This was hard for Danna, to leave her friends behind, to leave everything she remembered behind, it was heartbreaking but it had to be done.

No one was safe whilst she was around.

"What happened when I became... unconscious?" Danna's voice started to wabble, skeptically looking at Melly.

Melly looked out to the window, her chest moving slowly upwards and downards.

"I called the police, I don't remember what happened once I was knocked out, but I remember the pain" Her voice shook, finnaly looking back at a worried Danna.

"That's all I know" She croaked, Danna wanted to say how sorry she was, but couldn't find it in her to say it.

They chatted some more, knowing that this might be the last time they would ever see each other, and then finally when the doctor came in and said her time is up they embraced eachother in a tight hug, closing their eyes.

"Promise me that you will call everyday and text me" She whispered again, Danna smiled at that.

"I promise" She giggled.
