"Hah! Got you!" Mallowpaw chuckled as she leaped on top of Aspenpaw.

"Hey! Not so rough!" Aspenpaw complained.

Mallowpaw folded her ears in embarrassment, and toppled backwards, releasing her grasp from Aspenpaw's fur.

In turn, Aspenpaw chuckled and gently batted at Mallowpaw's muzzle with her paw, making her giggle.

Frogpaw was watching from a distance, with his brother, Snakepaw, eating prey not too far away from him.

"I truly don't understand how you don't want a mate, Snakepaw. Look at Mallowpaw and Aspenpaw!" Frogpaw said.

"Oh I know." Snakepaw said between bites. "I'm just not interested."

Frogpaw didn't bother to say more, and just walked away into his den.
