The tree is fine
Chapter 61
The tree is fine
He woke up in her arms. All night, she kept humming lullabies to calm his soul. The feeling she gave was incomparable.
He had never felt so cared for or loved in his entire life.
Loved?
"Did you put me inside your heart, Sibel?" He wondered as he looked at her peaceful face. She stirred and turned her back to him where he saw the knife mark that the ugly Massimo had left behind. It reminded him to cover up fast, as the owner of his heart, and he grabbed the phone on his way out of the room.
"Good morning!"
"Good morning!"
They exchanged pleasantries, both in a formal tone.
"How is the treatment going, Psyche?!"
"Perfect, sir! I have trapped him inside his fear." The woman's voice came through the phone, sounding cold.
"You can see for yourself, sir." She continued as she switched to the camera.
Sinbad looked at Massimo, who had hugged his knees, trying to avoid the light as he rocked himself back and forth.
"What is his fear?!"
"Whom, sir. He feared his mom, who beat him brutally when he was a child, and she also mutilated him down there by burning. Even the scar on his face is from his mom. If I didn't know his past, I would feel pity for him, but I can't. So I will let him die in his fear. It's the least he deserves for all those countless girls and women who suffered because of him."
"Thank you, Psyche."
Sinbad hung up the phone, returned to the room, but she was still sound asleep. So he took the opportunity to change as needed, fix himself up, and start their journey outside Oriental.
As soon as he spread the perfume in the air, she woke up, rubbing her eyelids to clear her view.
"Hey Yakışıklı, have you seen where is moj mož?!" She got up, taking a deep breath, and crossed her legs as she looked at him.
He was going for a cowboy style with black boots, blue denim, a black and white square-print shirt, and a gray leather jacket.
"Dobro jutro moje življenje!( good morning my life)"
He looked at her as if seeing her for the first time. He approached her like a bee to the most beautiful flower, but she bent down as he hovered over her.
"I have to go, Sibel, or else I'll stay here until midnight."
"I don't mind." she purred and locked her arms around his neck, trapping him.
His hand crossed her belly and slipped inside her shorts, sliding into her intimate area.
"Ahhh,... Sinbad, what are you doing?!" She arched her back, never releasing his neck.
"I'm trying my credit card on your 'v' to see if she remembers or if I need to enter a pin." He murmured against her lips, his warm breath hitting her neck.
"My 'v' remembers perfectly because it's the same old pin after a… Ahhhh." She made a perfect bridge with her back as his devious finger tapped inside. She bit her lower lip and curled her toes as he teasingly pleasured her. She gave him a taste of what he wanted, enough for him to become greedy. As soon as he caught her scent, he looked at her and licked his dry fingertips.
His growling made her giggle, so she released his neck and held back her laughter.
He decided to get rid of his jacket, shirt, and belt. If the first two items ended up on the floor, he made handcuffs with his belt and secured her hands above her head.
"I can't resist you.
I don't want to resist you.
You are perfection, Sibel.
Let me love you!
Let me adore you!"
He spoke, making sure she was naked as he undressed as well.
His longing for her never diminished; he missed her even when he blinked. His lips loved touching every part of her skin, leaving no area unexplored. Her breath quickened, sometimes holding it as if trying to reach heaven, then panting heavily in his arms after he set her free.
"My love, please don't think I don't enjoy your touch, but it distracts me from my focus when I am exploring your body (he gently ran his fingers over her skin, causing pleasant goosebumps). I let you scratch my back because I love feeling your touch imprinted on my skin, my kitten...
Their morning unfolded in this fashion once again. Sibel decided to stay in Oriental and confront everything with her head held high.
Two days passed since the incident with her family, and she was having second thoughts about talking to them, especially her mom.
After they made the changes that Mert wanted, the boy returned home. However, he preferred to give them space and spent his time talking to Marianna via camera or texting until midnight.
Sinbad noticed Sibel's sadness and, of course, he couldn't bear to see it anymore. He decided to take action in this matter.
He called the person responsible for their pain, Adalet Kara, at his official office on the main street of Oriental City.
"I hope you didn't call to insult me further," Adalet Kara said as she sat down in front of him.
"No, I'm not going to insult you, nor apologize for my behavior. What I said earlier was nothing compared to what you truly deserve, and not just you, but this whole messed up society that instead of raising and educating men, points fingers at women.
I was very clear when I said to stay away from my Sibel. Don't brainwash her. Doctors said the same, but you couldn't keep your mouth shut. And she, Mert, and I are suffering the consequences of your family's code, Mrs. Kara.
But even though I've tried everything to change the past, unfortunately, it can't be changed. So we need to think about the present and the future.
You are going to call Sibel, apologize, and invite us to your home for dinner this Friday. You and everyone else will make an effort to make her happy; otherwise, be prepared for your downfall, Adalet Kara." Sinbad spoke, both assertive and threatening.
"What downfall are you talking about, young man?"
"I know a secret, and for my Sibel's tears, I wouldn't mind destroying you and your entire distinguished family, reducing you all to ashes."
"You know, whatever happens to me or Kara family, it directly affects 'your Sibel' too."
"Don't worry, I'll send her far away where nothing can hurt her."
"I've raised my sons to be an example around here. They respect and love their wives and care for the family. Ahmet Kara raised our daughter to be fearless towards men. He even let Sibel accuse him so that no one could point a finger at her and call her a liar. I always told him that raising them like that would bring trouble because women who experience freedom in their father's home will never bow their heads to their husband's home. And this civilization we live in wasn't prepared for them. I was taught to bow my head to my father, my brother, my husband, to every man I encountered. But Ahmet Kara raised my head up the night I married him. He made me equal to him. Never let anyone make me bow my head or feel shame.
My responsibility is to protect his home, his family, his daughters.
If I insisted on that time, it was to protect that honor.
And because I saw your true regret. You were tormenting yourself just to catch a glimpse of her. I told you my husband's secret to force her to be with you. My instincts knew that you were meant for each other. I saw the flame dancing between you both when you came home. If she had been a little submissive, things wouldn't have gone so far."
"If she had been submissive, I would never have loved her like this, ma'am. She is the flame and I willingly burned myself."
"Women like her always attract danger. And you have been a danger to her since you first met her.
I'll do as you say, Sinbad, but you need to marry her as soon as possible before words spread and people start calling her names."
"My demon is waiting to silence their tongues and fingers."
"Then you'll have to do that to half of Oriental, and remember, you just received an honor medal for protecting the people of Oriental."
"Don't worry about my reputation, ma'am! I'll set an example and the rest will stay quiet for good."
"One thing you have in common with her is this stubbornness."
Adalet Kara said her final words as she got up and left.
As you can assume, Adalet called Sibel, and after a long one-on-one conversation, all the chaos between the mother and daughter was gone.

Although Sinbad hates leaving her alone in the morning, especially without having his breakfast, he couldn't do otherwise because of the strict rules of the reunion with underworld bosses from all over Europe. However, he promised to come back on time for their dinner at Kara mansion.
People had started spreading rumors whenever they spotted Sibel, but she didn't care about their cheap words. She frequently prohibited Mert from saying anything to Sinbad to avoid aggravating the situation.
During lunch, Sibel tried calling Sinbad, but he didn't pick up once. She then tried calling Hakan, but it was the same. For the first time, Sibel found herself worrying about him. She couldn't speak a word as she was constantly thinking about him. Her heart was filled with sadness, and she found herself pleading to God to keep him safe.
When dinner passed and he still hadn't shown up, she was about to lose her mind. She went back to the farm to be near him, with Mert accompanying her to comfort her heart.
"Mom, it's his job. He often disappears like this and then comes back safe. Trust me!" Mert hugged her, knowing her mind and heart were not finding any solace.
She waited in their room, took his hoodie, and wore it. She couldn't help but miss him and long for his presence. She called everyone who could provide information, but no one knew anything. Sadly, she walked down the stairs and went to the kitchen island, crying over the marble counter.
"Sinbad, don't do this to me. Please come back to me. Please, God, bring him back alive." She knelt on the floor with her hand reaching towards the window, gazing at the clear sky, pleading for a miracle to happen.
Suddenly, a strong light illuminated the kitchen as she heard the engine of a car. Her heart beamed with happiness as she felt a sense of weightlessness and gained wings. She quickly opened the door, flying into his arms.
His heart had never beat like this for as long as he could remember. Overwhelmed, she couldn't hold herself back and cried on his chest as her arms encircled his torso. He held her closely as tears flowed over her golden hair.
"Dad," Mert's sleepy voice interrupted them as he rubbed his eyes to look at them.
"Go back to sleep, boy. Your old man is in good hands."
"Keep it down, my room isn't soundproof," he ordered them, stretching his arms and yawning.
Sibel detached herself from him to look at her son again, but as she looked back at Sinbad, she noticed a bleeding scar on his left eyebrow. His white shirt was stained with blood, and his right arm was also bleeding.
"What happened to you, Sinbad? Who dares to do this to you, love?" she trembled as she inspected his wounds.
"All you need to know is that Tree is fine," he said, cupping her face with a smile. Her realization hit her and she cried even more. She could have lost him years ago.
Sitting on the couch, she grabbed some medical cotton and wet it with alcohol to clean his open wound as he narrated what happened to him.
As he explained, he had a meeting with European underworld bosses, but the Spanish mob, Aman García, had prepared a trap for Sinbad and his men when they left the meeting salon.
Aman García openly challenged Sinbad to a duel, as he is known as the best fighter among the mobs.
In a fist fight inside a cage of cars, Sinbad beat him to death after four rounds.
"When I was driving home to you, I realized my phone was dead. I tried to speed up, but my vision got blurred and I almost hit a tree. So, I went down a water channel and called for help to bring a new car... ouch," he groaned, feeling the pressure of the cotton on his wound.
"Ouch, huh! Are you stupid? After getting beaten like that, you dare to get inside the car alone. You should have let one of your men drive," she complained as she lessened the pressure and blew on his wound.
"Baby, he killed all my men, that's why I was coming alone," he revealed. This revelation hit her like a thunderbolt. Sibel's pupils widened as she held Sinbad tightly to her chest.
"Promise me you will never go to those meetings ever again," she sobbed. Her voice was killing him, and he reciprocated the hug.
"I promise, Sibel, that I will never go to those meetings ever again. Your serenity is my priority, love. Now, tell me what should I cook for you?"
Upon hearing the word "cook," Sibel smiled and kissed his lips. She was about to confess something, but she believed he deserved better than just blurting it out.
"Don't worry, mom has cooked for us. I didn't eat anything, waiting for you, so she packed up. I will just warm it up while you change."
"Let's eat on the roof so we don't disturb our son's sleep," he suggested, licking his lips mischievously at the dirty thought he had.
"Why would Mert be disturbed by our dinner?" she asked, but as soon as she saw that mischievous look, she understood the implication.
"Sinbad, you're hurt, and who knows how bad you are underneath this tough exterior."
"I was hoping you would love me tonight," he whispered sensually, igniting her flame.
