The Heart wants what it wants!

The Heart wants what it wants!

The usual monthly call made his heart knock inside his rib cage. The poor heart was eagerly waiting for the breath to slow her rhythm.

Her breath rang in his eardrum, sending a vibration through his veins. Neurons took it and translated between each other, recordings of a past life came, creating saltwater that covered his eyes. Then tip tap fell on his eyelashes. His fingers weren't fast enough to remove the droplets that dampened his cheek.

This was a sacred ritual.

"Sinbad," the owner of his heart, took his name after so many years, making the mountain man fall to his knees. He was alone as always when waiting for her call.

That second, his heart stopped, his breath got stuck between his lungs and throat, couldn't produce a sound.

"Sinbad, Andrea is back in my life."

He couldn't comprehend well what he had heard. His mind didn't dwell right.

"What?" Was all he said after so many years.

"I know, I am surprised too. I..."

" I understand, don't need to add more. Don't need to call me anymore. I get it! I pray Allah will give you what you have been looking for and fix what I broke!" He interrupted and cut the phone.

He looked possessed by his old demons. Thankfully Mert wasn't at home that time to witness the drastic change in his father.

He got out, smashing the door behind him, opened the car door furiously, closed it after, then, with a touch of his fingers, the engine came to life and in a few seconds, he was out of there. His mind was dark, he wanted revenge because he waited for something else from her.

The call usually came in the evening, outside was a mixture of blue and orange as the Sun was setting down over the Mediterranean sea, which was far away from where Sinbad was going.

He was going through obscureness because he felt betrayed by her. He was done telling tales to himself.

His car halted before the building where her red and pink lights always lit up the sky. It was the second night club on Oriental that used to be a small pavilion, but now it's a shining building that rivals Hakan's night club. Despite being in different places, the owners haven't had any confrontation until now.

As soon as the guard saw Sinbad coming towards them, they bowed their heads and let him pass without checking, but they announced his presence to their boss.

"Bless my eyes for seeing the sultan of Oriental in my humble place."

"Vatan, I don't have the patience to hear your voice. I want the private room and two of your finest women here!"

"Hi! Hi, Sultan!" He smirked and showed the lift that was sent to the private room.

Sinbad stepped in, fuming with anger, yet his heart was still hurting after what he called betrayal.

As soon as the elevator stopped, he went straight towards the room that had a vast view over the Oriental thanks to the giant glass-like window. His dark aura threatened to burn everything his eyes caught. It didn't last long when the elevator opened again, and two gorgeous girls stepped in.

"Mine! Mine! Isn't the ruler of the Orient looking for a way to distract himself from his unfortunate love?" Her seductive voice didn't go unnoticed as it struck the right chords.

"Aren't you using your mouth more than necessary, woman!" His threatening voice froze the poor girl that was breathing her last breath as soon as she met his dark gaze. Indeed, he possessed a piercing stare able to turn anyone to stone.

"Forgive her, Sultan! She is always so improper. Let me make you feel happy." The other girl came behind him, caressing his shoulder, soothing his mood as her voice became familiar. He missed her as her other friend took his attention. She was small-framed, with plump red lips, round cheeks, sharp eyebrows, and those dark eyes that twinkled. His breathing suddenly became heavy. 'Could it be true? Is she here?' his mind thought, but as his head cocked down to catch her lips, the lavender fragrance hit his nostrils.

"You are not here!" He whispered.

The woman was drawn to his divinity, you can't blame her. Sinbad was indeed an eye-catcher. She didn't think twice before grabbing his face and swallowing his lips. That confirmed she wasn't Sibel. Her kiss was desperate, needy, but his lips didn't move at all. She gave up, watching his eyes that never closed. Pain was visible.

"Let me heal you!" Her husky voice came as she barely breathed.

"You can't! Take your friend and get out of here," he started to move away from her. She understood that nothing could change his mind, took her friend, and entered the lift.

He realized that he had just left another woman to kiss his lips. Those lips that for more than 5475 days had been yearning to be kissed by her rose-petal-like lips. Furiously, he grabbed the alcohol bottle that was near him, standing proud on the cabinet. He removed the cap and washed his lips as if the girl had a disease on her lips. If that wasn't enough, he drank the whole remaining venom.

The venomous drink found its way down his throat, bringing back a familiar sensation that his body hadn't yet forgotten.

"Neden Sibel? Neden? Bir kere bana neden göremedin! Bilmiyorsun sen, benim kalbim sadece senin için atıyor. Ben sadece senin için nefes alabilirim. Neden bunu bize yaptın Sibel? Sana bir şans isterdim. Sadece bir şans daha. Mutlu olabilirdik! Her şeyi senin için yapardım, sadece senin için. Neden! Neden! Neden!" ("Why Sibel? Why? Why couldn't you see me just once? You don't know that my heart beats only for you!If I breathe, it's just for your sake! Why did you do this to us, Sibel? One chance I wanted from you.Just one more chance. We would have been happy.I will do everything for you, only for you. Why? Why? Why?)

Sinbad yelled and screamed and smashed everything around him.

Vatan, the owner of the nightclub, was surprised to see the two girls coming from the lift. One was shocked to her death, the other surprised that she had kiss the man who every woman yearns for. Touching her lips, she looked possessed.

"What happened, Seher?" Vatan asked.

"I kissed him!" she responded, still intoxicated by his manly scent.

"I don't care what you do with him. What happened to Zuhal?" He asked, worried, as the poor woman was drinking water with shaking hands.

"She used her mouth more than needed and brought out his anger."

"Zuhal, calm down! He will not harm you," Vatan reassured the distressed soul who believed he saw the devil in his eyes.

"Seher, take care of her!" Vatan ordered than took the lift to the suite.

As soon as he stepped inside, his nostrils were hit by the scent of alcohol. The pink highlights were looming over the vast room, revealing only destruction.

In the middle of the chaos was Sinbad, covered in blood from all the cuts caused by the sharp glass pieces.

"Sinbad, what have you done to my place, man?! Not only this, but you scared the poor girl to death. I know you all don't care for them, but they aren't here to tolerate your misbehavior, let alone to be scared like that."

"She should keep her mouth shut! I will pay for damages later. Now, go, Vatan!" His voice changed in three short phrases, showing anger, maturity, and a threat.Vatan saw the devil rising in his eyes, not wanting to let his woman become a widow before her time. He just nodded and went back to life. Opened his phone and dialed a number.

***

"Please don't stop! Please..ahh!" The sweat on her face, the bruised lower lip, her perfect arched back, her hand begging for freedom as they were caged above her head. A head was beneath her nether region, holding her hips firmly as he drank her nectar.

His phone rang. She got alarmed, stopped moving, and ceased making her desirable noises.

He understood her worry.

"I... (kissed over her bud, rising up and leaving nectar on the way) will... not... go... anywhere... until... I... haven't... recompensed... all... the lost... time... my beloved wife!" His husky voice came to her ear as he took a hold between his teeth of the soft flesh under her ear. Not biting hard, just enough to make her moan his name.

"Hakaaaan."

Not wanting to wait any longer, he moaned her name too.

"Saneem"

After a good ten minutes, he released her hand and gave her a warm bath. He wasn't surprised to be enchanted by her after all these years. Though she doesn't possess the perfect body of decades ago, she is more than perfect in his eyes.

As per ritual, he did a full-body massage with calming oil, wore panties and a big bear blouse. Covered her under the duvet as he was about to join her, the phone beeped again.

"What do you want?" His voice was cold as his mood was destroyed.

"Come and take your boss from here before he ruins my club!" Vatan's voice was agitated.

"He isn't my boss, you imbecile!"

"Whatever, come because he is scaring my clients and the girls. Also is self-harming, his body is fucking bleeding, man!"

The last line alerted him. Not thinking, he got dressed, gave a peck on Sanem's forehead, and was gone.

He arrived there and saw people scared outside.

Sinbad, after smashing all the furniture of the suite, took the lift and came down, disarmed one of the guards, and took the gun pointing to whomever was there.

"Everyone Out Now!" he roared and every breathing being ran away from his madness.

"Sinbad, control yourself, this isn't your place, it's mine." Confronted by the owner Vatan.

Sinbad wasn't in his right mind, his knuckles were bleeding, his eyes were bloodshot. Grabbed him by the collar and placed the gun on his temple.

"Listen carefully, Vatan! I am the owner of everything here in Oriental. If I let you, this little playground is in the memory of your father who was kind to me during my time in prison. But don't push your luck! Now disappear," he seethed.

"Calm down, Sinbad!" Vatan said, fearing his next move but grateful that he was released. His rage once again was aimed at the poor furniture, smashing and breaking whatever his hand caught. Yelling her name as she could hear him.

He entered the mirror room that worked as a pole show too. Girls dance in front of the mirror as their admirers watch them from their place being invisible behind the looking glass.

"Why, Sibel? Why can't you see me for once?" He said those words pleading as he was on his knees beside the pole tube.

"You have the audacity to say that after all you make her body and soul suffer?!" It was a well-known voice for him. He raised his eyes to see the replica of him in the mirror that was looking at him like a lowly thing.

"Stop watching me like that!" He shouted and broke the mirror.

"Why, you are pathetic anyway!"

"Stop it!" Again smashing the mirror next to the broken one.

"What did you think - she would forget so easily?!"

"It's been more than a decade! I've been keeping my part; she should keep hers!!!"

"Did she promise you more than forgiveness when she left?"

"No!"

"Then what are you doing here?"

"She could have given a chance at least"

"Beside Hakan, you have vanished all those who did wrong to you in prison. Why didn't you forgive them? Have you forgotten their wrongs against you?"

"Yes, I forgot!" Boldly, he answered.

"No, you haven't, because you still wake up sweating and barely breathe at midnight. Keep the light on. If you can't forget, don't expect her to do it." His reflection spoke the truth.

Sinbad stared at the mirror, confronting his sins he rose up and removed his shirt, getting a view of his scarred body, removing his belt.

"If she chooses him, it is only your fault!" He shouted at the mirror then flashed the belt over his back.

It didn't hurt as he continued to do it until the belt didn't touch his bloody skin.

"What the hell are you doing, Sinbad?" The familiar voice came from behind him, he barely saw it through heavy tears Hakan standing there with the belt in his hand. It didn't take much to understand that Hakan had stopped him.

"She left me, Hakan."

"Are you stupid, Sinbad? She left you years ago."

"No, I still had a chance but her ex-boyfriend appeared again and she chose him."

"Did she say that?"

"She spoke after 15 years of silence to say that Andrea has come back. I couldn't bear it and came here to forget her. I let my anger control me, almost I would have surrendered as I let someone else kiss me. I betrayed her once again."

Hakan has seen many shades of Sinbad Melekoglu but never this. The man was covered in his blood, crying like a child causing a tornado around him for a woman who was far away in miles, far away in years, far away from corresponding his feelings.

Hakan grabbed his arm and helped him stand on his feet. The smell of alcohol mixed with the scent of blood as he let his arm wrap around his neck and supported his bloody waist, helping him walk away from there.

He couldn't let others see the ruthless one in that state.

They went behind the club, leaned Sinbad's body against the wall, and went to get his car.

"Where is he?" Vatan asked, worried.

"He is behind, in the worst state ever, but I can't let people see him like this. As soon as he comes to his senses, he will take care of what needs to be done at your place."

"I understand. Anyway, this place needed a makeover. Take care of him!" Vatan grasped the situation and patted Hakan's shoulder.

After a week had passed, Sinbad recovered from the trauma and was once again ruling Oriental.

He staged a meeting with Vatan and the girls at his office.

"I want to start by apologizing to you," he said, looking at the girl who was still scared of him.

She nodded, her eyes fixed on the ground.

"As for you," he turned to the girl who had kissed him and was seductively biting her lips, "You get to kiss the most desirable men in Oriental, so consider yourself well rewarded," his lips formed a slight smile.

"I don't know how you landed this job. If it was because of some scumbag, let me know and I will deal with him. If you have family to support or debts to pay off, inform me and I will provide financial support for your family as well," he continued as he stood before them, resting his hips on his desk.

"Zuhal is the one with debt and has a sick father to maintain along with her mum and the fees of her sister's school. I gave everything to a scumbag and I entered this world to drive men crazy. You can shower her with money, I need a night with you!" Seher playfully played with her hand as she touched his collar. Sinbad gently removed her hand.

"Miss, for a kiss I let you give me, for the sin that I was ready to commit, I destroyed your workplace. If I give you what you requested, I need to burn all of Oriental down and still have the flame to ruin the entire world. Because I am off limits. My body, my lips, my soul, my heart, even my breath belong to one woman." He declared proudly.

"Yeah, I know, the one and only Sibel Kara! But hey, a girl needs to try everything in the end." Seher covered up her disappointment well.

"You talk to recompense them. What about me?" Intervened Vatan who was there all the time, staring at his phone.

"Impatient, aren't you?!" Sinbad taunted as Vatan frowned.

" Well, I need to know if I'll be able to open again or not."

" Yeah, you will be able to open again and here is the money you will need, along with what Zuhal will need to pay her debt and take care of her family. As for you, Miss (his eyes caught Seher), I can't fulfill your wishes towards me but any other requests you may have, I will fulfill it."

" I want to meet Sibel Kara one day!"

" I want to meet her too," his heart said.

" Of course, as soon as she steps her foot here, I will bring her to meet you, Miss..."

"Seher," she responded, and he nodded.

With this, their conversation ended.

As they were leaving the place, they came face to face with Hakan who was nonetheless better than Sinbad, with his short blonde hair and those piercing blue eyes. Still catching the breath of women.

Zuhal had a crush on him as Seher took in his features in one look.

"Too bad, my baby, that all good looking guys are hellbent on being loyal to their wives!" Seher let her sarcasm echo in the hall, a playful smirk adorned Hakan's face as he was proud of being loyal to his wife.

"All women need men to buy something that is missing at home! Why does my woman never call?" Vatan said frustrated as he entered the car.

"Still, you hid her things in the supermarket!" Seher couldn't hold back her laugh as she retorted to him.

"Put your belts on!" Vatan shouted as he started the engine to life.

Hakan, without knocking, entered his office.

"You need to learn how to knock!" Sinbad let his words out as he stood before the enormous window, from where he could see Oriental Square.

"Take off your clothes!" Hakan ordered.

"I beg your pardon?"

"I need to put cream on your wounds, or Sanem will come in person to do so. The last thing I want is my wife putting her hands on another man. Remove your clothes!"

"Do you want a strip show?"

"Fuck you, man! Do you want the treatment or not?!"

"Don't get mad, darling?"

"Fuck you, man! I am out of here!" Hakan wanted to go, but his voice stopped him.

"Now I get how my boy gets to know this word. His uncle just cursed too much!" Sinbad said, removing the jacket and starting to unbutton the shirt.

His body was all purple wounds. The ointment that Sanem had made was the same one she prepared when Hakan sent Sinbad to his home.

As a possessive husband, Hakan didn't digest well hearing Sinbad groan and moan whenever Sanem touched his back.

"Sanem aşkım, you may go to rest. I will take care of him because it seems like I haven't done my job well." He devilishly talked as he pecked her nape.

Sanem held back her laugh as she understood her husband, inside her she was flying because he was still jealous of her.

This moment brought a smile to Hakan as he remembered while applying the thick cream.

They can be men, they can be tough, but can't ignore the pain. Hakan saw the ugly violet map of Sinbad's back and wondered how much more he could endure.

"I can endure a thousand of these marks if only she could give me a chance."

Sinbad answered his mind, making Hakan shocked as always when Sinbad read his mind.

"You pause, my friend, and I could hear your questioning breath. I have been reading your breath for so many years, man."

"You need to move on, Sinbad, like she did!"

"Easy saying than doing, Hakan!"

Two men who were once enemies are now friends. Unknown to Hakan, he has become a good shoulder for Sinbad in all these years, and for sure they will be in the future.
