Nessas pov

Embarrassing to be honest, i should be over him. "Who the hell are you to my boyfriend?" I heard a high pitched voice beside  me.

I ignored her going into my class. She shot me a glare.

I had two more classes for the day,and Thank God,I have a class with Jaden now.I kept telling myself get over it but I just could never.

I sat down ,in the last seat,of course,too close to jaden.Tue tension was,clear.

I just had a shitty day but i still have to go to the school gym. Cooper had something so,he wasn't with me at the moment sadly.

At the end of school,i headed to the school gym,i was told that's where cheerleading tryouts and practice is.I was in the locker room changing then i got a call from jaden,i huffed before answering it.
He was the first to speak "Ness?You there?",i stayed silent even though i heard him."ah shit.i know you're hearing me,when do I come over ?"

i finally replied,"i'm at cheerleading tryouts rn,so,one hour so".
"Thee Nessa,the emo CHEERLEADING?" he enthusiastically and mockingly asked.
I let out an unimpressed huff and hung up on him. I wore a slightly oversized black shirt. with a black leggings, i left my bag in the locker room and walked into the gym with my water bottle.

"5,6,7,8" I heard a loud,high pitched voice say, followed by clapping and foot stomps on the gym floor. The rubber on the cheerleaders' shoes screeched on the gym floor as they danced, cheered,everyone shouting Go Downfalls at the end.It was genuinely impressive,and I know i don't dance or can't dance so I'll be surprised if I get in but,it's worth a shot.

"Hi Nessa" I heard at the end of their cheer,it was Mads,i'm not shocked at all to be very honest.It's so predictable and stereotypical. "Hey"I replied blandly,with no attitude.

"I'm sorry but there are no try outs tday,only after the big game next week anyone is allowed to try out,I'm sorry"she explained,in a sweet tone,shockingly.I understood,so I nodded, "but...if you want to just join for today,not for competition or anything at the moment but,just to show what you got"

"I really don't have much to be honest" i said .
I just did a small routine,something they sort of recommended,it wasn't bad,Mads of course said room for improvement,but still shockingly didn't be bitchy about it.
I had to wait till next week,i went back to the locker rooms,called jaden so we could work on our project,told him it's gonna be earlier than i thought.He had the baby so he said he'll come to my house and we'll work on it together,like we had to.

Jadens pov-
Nessa called me to tell me to come over for the project.

I went to her house, i had the baby on my lap while driving,and this little shit wouldn't stop crying.I can't wait to share the pain with Nessa.She sent me her location and i followed it,about two minutes after i pulled up to her house.

I went outside with the child and my phone. I went to knock on the door,Nessa answered the door and let me in.I gave her the baby as soon as i entered.I greeted he but here being Nessa ignored me and just told her parents i'm here.We went to her room and the baby started crying .

"ew why is it doing that.."she whined with a disgusted look in her face.

"wow you're so good with children ness"i remarked.

the nickname ness triggered her slightly as i could see the change of expression,into a slight softness,her eyes went doe for a second.

the room was silent after that,after she caught herself she broke the silence."i'm gonna go take a shower and change,we'll deal with that later"she said
