Chapter 7

Robby turned to his bed, noticing Shawn and his friends had completely wrecked it. (Y/N) wasn't around to help, hence giving Shawn the green card to continue his mischief.

"Back to your bunks, Payne. All of you!" the guard interrupted. "Keene, you got a visitor."

Robby's attention was immediately on the guard. Caught off guard, he presumed it would be Daniel LaRusso, given he'd called in a few weeks ago to check on Robby.

A man with grey hair, wrinkles all over his face and a sinister smile looked up to face Robby. He smiled, soon as Robby entered the room.

"Hello son." he greeted, calmly.

Robby's expressions softened. The man wouldn't have visited him if there wasn't a deal in place. It was none other than Kreese himself. Robby sat down in front of him, hearing what he had to say. Despite being screwed over, it was inevitable that Kreese would go back on his word. After all, he had a reputation.

"Let me tell you about your dad. He was always a scrapper." Kreese explained.

His index finger pointed to different places in the air as he continued to explain. Robby crossed his arms, intently listening and absorbing the words coming out of Kreese's mouth.

"But the moment I knew he was the real deal was his first All Valley. He made the quarters but he drew a kid... Vidal."

(Y/N) followed the guard, sitting up in front of Robby. She had a visitor too. Surprised, she went to sit there anyway. While Robby was busy with Kreese, (Y/N) was visited by a police officer of another district. Officer Kent.

He had a pair of almond shaped eyes with a clean shaven head. Fairly young, yet older than (Y/N). He was still in his uniform, which meant all the other parole officers would stay away frmo them.

"Officer..." (Y/N) gasped. "What are you-- How did you--"

She couldn't gather her words together. It was a big surprise to her, given an officer himself had made the effort to track her down.

"I'm here about your father. I know he was framed but I need your help." Kent continued. "You need to help me find the real Caleb Johnson... Whatever you know."

She wasn't sure if she should tell him what she saw that night. After all, Officer Kent was an old friend of her father's too. And he owed him big time for helping him out of a lawsuit which took place in the past.

"I'll tell you everything. Under one condition..."

(Y/N) turned to Robby as the old man got up from his seat, preparing himself to leave. The guard came in, taking the both of them back.

"What was all that about?" she asked, looking behind her as the man walked away.

"Nothing." Robby mumbled. "You?"

"Nothing."

Robby seated himself down in front of a computer, google searching information on Kreese. (Y/N) placed herself next to him, investigating information on the real Caleb Johnson and how it  was related to her father's scandal. It was all linked. Tom Cole. Caleb Johnson. Her father, Chad Ross and her mother, Evelyn Ross.

Robby started to type until the chord was aggressively pulled. The two looked over to see who it was. Shawn.

Robby stormed up on his feet, facing Shawn as he looked him in the eye.

"Why don't you just leave me alone, man?" Robby calmly asked, with a sigh of defeat.

"That ain't gonna happen. I'll always be lookin' over your shoulder."

(Y/N) stormed up to her feet, glaring at Shawn. She stepped further towards him with her hands on her hips.

"And YOU will be looking over yours..." she chimed, linking her index and middle finger to symbolise her watching him.

The guard walked in, indicating break time was over. He lead the delinquents to their bunks, urging everyone to leave the room they were currently in.

"You got lucky this time... bitch." Shawn threatened.

Robby sat by the table as (Y/N) and Hunter joined. For a while, Hunter had been keeping a close eye on (Y/N), making sure she didn't land herself into any more trouble than she'd somewhat caused. For instance, having him help her escape every now and then.

Hunter excused himself as Robby and (Y/N) shared a moment. They'd used this time to open up to one another.

"So do you know when you get out of here?" Robby asked.

"Not for a while, I mean I did some heavy ass shoplifting." (Y/N) replied, sticking to her role as Caleb Johnson. "You?"

"Soon I guess. What I did wasn't really the best..." he sighed. "I almost killed someone."

Robby continued to explain the fight with Miguel, centred around his ex girlfriend. (Y/N) came to know he'd still had feelings for her, realising she almost overstepped her boundaries in trying to get in with Robby.

He confessed he still loved and missed her. Unfortunately, after the fight, she didn't necessarily feel the same way about him. Despite her checking in on him every now and then. However, their breakup wasn't confirmed either. Which technically still meant, Robby had a girlfriend.

A heartbroken (Y/N) understood, realising she'd only just developed feelings for him. It was better to stop things here than to continue. Hence, she'd made it a point to avoid Robby from here on in. At least until he was released.

In the distance, Shawn and his group were mumbling to one another as they were huddled around the table nearby. Robby turned his head to face Shawn, throwing in a glare.

"What's up?" Shawn snickered as he shook his cell mate's hand.

A rush of adrenaline ran through Robby's head. He stormed from the table, fly kicking Shawn across the face. Shawn was sent to the floor.

THUD!

He proceeded to elbow and front kick his cell mate as (Y/N) and Hunter joined. Hunter took on Shawn who was already on the floor while she aimed for the other cell mate.

(Y/N) slammed that cell mate on the floor whilst another he dealt with jumped on the table. Robby kicked him from under the leg, sweeping him off his feet. As Hunter was repeatedly getting smacked across the face, Robby held out his palms. (Y/N) stepped up, flying across the room onto Shawn's shoulders.

She put him on a choke hold, gesturing Hunter and Robby to take turns in beating Shawn up while his friends were down on the ground.

Shawn pried her off, sending her to the floor. Just in time, Robby spin kicked a cell mate and landed in front of (Y/N), catching her in his arms.

His eyes widened, noticing her sweating. He looked into her eyes, intuitively realising something was different about her. He didn't have much time. Another cell mate lunged over at the two. Robby picked her up from under the arms as she jumped and kicked the cell mate's chest, sending him to the floor once again.

Shawn and Hunter fought one another. (Y/N) had Robby hold out his palms once again. She flew across the room for a second again, striking her fist at Shawn's face.

Moments later, more cell mates came to cheer for both the trios. Hunter's arm was linked with Robby's tripping one of Shawn's cell mates over.

The guards broke into the room to break the fight up. Everyone was on the floor either on their own, or were forcibly held down by the guards, except for (Y/N). Her eyes widened, observing what was happening around her. She slowly got down on the floor, mimicking the rest of the delinquents.

Hunter was calmly let off as he didn't resist. However, his punishment was labour, which meant cleaning toilets.

As the boys were taken into questioning, (Y/N) followed Hunter, helping him clean.

"I told you to stay out of trouble. It's dangerous. What the hell were you thinking?!" he exclaimed.

Hunter had acted like a protective older brother. This was when (Y/N) knew it was a bad idea to tell him everything. She protested, against him, blaming Robby for starting the fight in the first place.

When Robby and Shawn walked past herself and Hunter, she bolted towards the two, only focused on getting Robby to talk.

"I ain't no snitch." Shawn mumbled.

And these were the last few words she'd heard. (Y/N) followed Robby, with a look of concern across her face. She took his hand, leading him to the toilets she and Hunter were assigned to clean.
