The Vault

Emma's hands clenched into fists at her sides and it took everything in her not to slap Regina for being such an idiot. "You. Made. Yourself. Forget. Him? You idiot!"
Regina stepped backwards. "I-I don't know what you're talking about!"
"I can't believe you," Emma continued ranting, "I cannot believe you would do that! You're a coward! You couldn't face the pain, so you just...you just...AGH!"
"Emma!" Belle shouted. Emma forced herself to turn and face Belle.
"Grieving, remember? Anger doesn't help."
"SHE'S NOT GRIEVING IF SHE CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT SHE WAS GRIEVING ABOUT!"
"Emma, calm down. When you lost Killian, you were able to go save him. Regina didn't have that option with Robin."
Emma was trying to let Belle's words sink in when a thought hit her. "The baby!" She whispered. "What if she got rid of the baby and then forgot about Robin?"
Belle didn't know what to say. Emma spun back around to face Regina. "I'm sorry about this. I really am." Emma flicked her wrist and a wave of magic shot out, knocking Regina unconscious.

Emma's House
❃
Meg was helping Killian load the dishwasher while Henry and Roland watched a movie when Emma, Belle, and Regina entered the house. Meg dropped what she was working on and rushed over to the three. "What happened?!"
Emma whispered something to Belle, and Belle nodded before leading Regina upstairs. Emma then turned to Meg. "Regina went down to her vault to make an infertility curse, but she ended up making a potion that caused her to forget about Robin."
"She's pregnant?"
"Yes, thankfully."
"But why would she make a potion that caused her to forget about Robin?"
"Belle says it's because he's suffering, but I think it's because she's an idiot."
Meg rolled her eyes, "Yes, but she's not idiotic enough to make herself forget about Robin or take the child. She went to Gold's shop first, which means she subconsciously wanted someone to stop her. I don't think she caused herself to forget Robin."
"Who else would want to do something like that?"
Meg shook her head, "I don't know. But someone else must have. I don't believe that Regina would do that to herself."
"Maybe you're right," Emma said, though she didn't believe it herself. "Either way, you and Roland will have to stay here until we find a way to reverse the effects of the potion."
Meg nodded. "Okay. And what about Regina?"
Emma shrugged. "No idea. She needs to be careful because she's pregnant, so finding a way to make her remember Robin won't be easy. If only I knew what sort of potion was used..."
An idea lit up Meg's mind. Not only to figure out what potion was used on Regina, but also to prove that Regina hadn't chosen to take the potion. "What if Henry and I go look around the vault?"
Emma almost said no, but if Meg and Henry could get their minds off of Robin, it would be best, so the blonde nodded. "Alright. See if you can find anything out of place or anything that looks like it might be covered up evidence."
"We will," Meg promised.

The Vault

Henry was looking through the shelves when something hit him. "The ring!" he exclaimed, turning to Meg. "Where's her engagement ring?"
Meg shrugged. "No idea. I don't think she had it on when she was at Emma's house. ...Where would she have put it?"
Henry thought for a moment. "It'd be... It's probably with Page 23 and the quill."
"What?" Meg asked, but Henry was already rushing down the hallway into a different room. He had to stand on his tiptoes to reach the box that held Regina's most treasured things.
"In here." Henry set the box on the table and he and Meg began to dig through it. As Henry had said, the taped up Page 23 that never happened was in the box as well as the broken parts of the Author's quill. Meg pulled out something golden and looked at this.
"This isn't the engagement ring is it?"
Henry took it from her. "No. At least not from Robin. I think this is the one from Daniel, her first love."
"What happened to him?"
"He died."
"Oh," Meg said quietly. She took the ring back from Henry and set it on top of the storybook page. The two continued searching the box. They found plenty of pictures, a silver necklace, Henry's adoption papers, and several other things. But no engagement ring.
"Is it possible she would have put it somewhere else?" Meg asked as she helped Henry carefully stack the items back in the box.
"No, I'm pretty sure it would be here."
"So whoever made Regina forget must have taken the ring and hid it or something," Meg concluded.
Henry smiled. "Which means she didn't make herself forget!"
"Exactly."
Henry placed the box back in it's place and he and Meg went back to searching the room Emma and Belle had found Regina in. The only thing they found was a nearly empty vial with a few drops of green liquid in it.
"Do you think this is what made her forget?" Meg asked, holding the vial up to eye level.
"Maybe. I don't think Mom would leave an open vial on the ground. But... it's green. That has Zelena written all over it."
"B-but Zelena's in the Underworld," Meg replied. "Hades took her and Arthur away... right?"
Henry nodded. "Yes, but Zelena's cabin is still here in Storybrooke and no one ever cleaned it out. Her potions and stuff are all still there."
"So someone has been using her cabin?"
"Yes. But if Zelena had the curse, then maybe she also has the cure."
"Do you think Emma will be mad if we head to the cabin?"
Henry rolled his eyes. "Obviously. But I'll leave a note letting her know where we are. She's mad enough at Mom right now to hopefully just brush this off."
"Then let's get to that cabin. With any luck, we'll make it back before Emma gets here."

Zelena's Cabin
❃
Henry was surprised to find that the door to Zelena's cabin was unlocked. He and Meg quietly entered and looked around. The lights were all off, but enough sunlight was coming in through the windows that they could see. The place looked like it had been lived in semi-recently, but that could have just been from Zelena and Arthur before Evelyn was born.
"Where would she keep potions?" Meg whispered.
Henry shrugged. "I've never been here before. I couldn't remember Storybrooke for most of the time Zelena was the big villain."
"So memory loss is a common thing?"
"Usually it comes in the form of a Dark Curse," Henry explained. I know four different people who have cast one."
"Four?!" Meg repeated. "Don't you have to sacrifice the heart of the thing you love most to cast a Dark Curse?"
Henry nodded. "Yeah. Mom killed her...uh...step-dad, I guess in order to cast the first Dark Curse and get revenge on Mary Margaret. Peter Pan killed one of the Lost Boys and would have wiped out Storybrooke had Mom not interfered. Mary Margaret crushed David's heart so they could get back to Emma and defeat Zelena and then had Mom break her heart in half so Mary Margaret and David could share a heart. And Killian crushed Merlin's heart, but since he was the Dark One, it was really Nimue who was crushing it."
"Wow..." Meg muttered. "There have been four Dark Curses cast that I know of and you know the person who cast every single one of them."
"Just a normal day in Storybrooke. Now let's look for some potions."
Meg and Henry searched the entire house, but couldn't find anything. the only place they hadn't checked yet was the cellar outside.
"How did you know this was here?" Meg asked as they walked down the stairs.
"I made my parents tell me what had happened while I couldn't remember anything and they told me they found Gold alive down here after he had died a year before. At that point, they couldn't remember that Belle and my dad had brought him back in the Enchanted Forest."
"Okay."
Gold's cell was still sitting there, the door open. The place looked like it hadn't been touched in over a year, except for one shelf. A glistening caught Henry's eye and he reached up to grab Regina's engagement ring. "Well I'm positive Mom didn't put this here."
Meg shook her head. "No way. Let's keep--" Meg went silent when she heard voices. Neither Henry or Meg dared speak for fear of being heard.
'Who?' Henry mouthed
Meg shrugged. 'We need to leave.'
'How?'
Meg held out her hand and Henry hesitantly took it. A cloud of green smoke swirled around both of them and they appeared back at Emma's house.
"Boy am I glad that worked," Meg said. "I've never transported more than just myself before."
"Well that makes me feel so much better," Henry muttered. "We need to tell my mom what we found out... assuming she's still here."
