Bold Words

Oh, I just can't wait until Sunday to post this! This is the aftermath of the battle with Malus, and there is a second book coming out, sorta. Instead of making it into a new book, I already have the parts written on this one, so I'll just continue it here.

Enjoy ^_^ (This is like an early sunday update so I guess you'll have to wait even longer for the next, sorry!)

Chapter 7- "I Love You" Are Some Pretty Bold Words

For the first time in a year and a half; Lucy finally felt the familiar softness of her own bed. She sighed in bliss as she pulled her covers over herself. She turned to face the window.

The Landlady was not happy with Lucy, but told her that she was a little happy to see her. "I want 1,260,000 jewels by the end of this month. Plus this month's rent." Lucy had nearly fainted when she heard that. But when she woke up the next day, she found 70,000 Jewles in a white envelope. Again, she almost fainted. She wondered who had left it until she saw the note under the envelope.

Dear Lucy,

Here is you daily payment. Not very hard for us to conjure it up.

~The King

She was grateful, but she didn't feel too good for taking their money, especially since they had done so much for her already. She wondered about what the King said about her destiny.

She was determined to at least make that month's rent, so she had spent that day doing easy jobs for low pay. If she did enough solo's then she could make it up in longer but easier times.

Natsu wasn't too happy about her plan. He told her she should just except the payments until her bill was paid, then kindly refuse from then on. But Lucy thought it was kind of rude to say that.

But she did what he said anyway. Ever since Lucy had come back, Natsu hadn't left her side. Neither had Levy, Erza, Juvia, Wendy, or Lisanna. She was grateful for her friends, but she hadn't had time to herself since they found out Kurai was actually Lucy in disguise.

But that night Lucy had to herself. She enjoyed the bed she had longed for for months, the food she had been waiting to eat, and the bath that needed exploring.

She chuckled to herself as she stared at the ceiling.

"I'm finally home." she sighed blissfully. She closed her eyes and thought about her Fairy Tail friends. When she had first started training with Draco, she would try and make up excuses to visit Magnolia and hope to see her friends, but Draco always saw through her feeble attempts.

Now, she could stay as long as she wanted. She closed her eyes and crept toward the window, back pressed against the wall. It was cool, and seemed to take off some of the access heat.

She fell asleep that way, and for the most part she slept peacefully. Until around midnight.

She was sleeping peacefully when her window opened. She didn't notice in her deep sleep until someone stepped on her.

"Ack!" She groaned, waking up and falling out of her bed.

"Oh sorry, Lucy!" She growled.

"Natsu! Happy! That hurt!" She said, rubbing her head and side.

"We're sorry Lucy!" Happy cried, flying into her arms. She frowned.

"I'm not made of glass, Happy. It's fine, but it's like the middle of the night." She complained.

"I missed you Lucy," Happy said, snuggling deeper into her chest which made her sort of uncomfortable.

"I saw just a couple hours ago."

"I want to make up for the year and a half we missed!" He complained. Lucy didn't know that Happy had care for her so much, but that's what death can do to someone, make you realize something that living can't. There's no worse punishment than having regrets after someone dies, because then there are no second chances.

Lucy stroked the back of Happy's head. She cooed him. "Alright, you can sleep with me." She looked up at Natsu, who was sitting on the window sill, swinging his legs back and forth like a little kid. "I suppose you want to sleep with me, too? Don't you?" He nodded eagerly like a little kid, his trade-mark grin spreading across his face.

She sighed. "Fine, but don't wake me up," she warned. It's not like she hadn't slept with him before, but she usually woke up on the floor.

She laid back in bed. Natsu slid off the window and laid next to her. Lucy snuggled Happy like a teddy bear.

Her soft breathing matched the way her chest rose and fell. Natsu was fascinated. They had never really buried Lucy, but she had been beyond dead to him. The blow had hit him harder than it had Lisanna, maybe because he had been younger then.

He knew he had confessed his love to her grave a hundred times, but now that she was before him, Natsu couldn't do it to her. He sighed. She turned in her side, deep into sleep.

Natsu laid on his back. It felt good to be back in her bed. His was bigger, but too empty. He pulled the covers over himself and went to sleep.

In the morning, he woke up to find his arm slung over Lucy's waist. Lucy was still sound asleep.

He quickly pulled his arm in, blushing like a retarded frog, if that made sense.

In his sheepish state, he turned over awkwardly and tried not to think about it but it came up again and again.

Despite being embarrassed, he remembered how warm she had felt. Shouldn't he be the warm one?

She stirred a little and opened her eyes. Natsu and Lucy were back to back. She sat up groggily.

She rubbed her eyes and yawned widely. "Mornin'." She said sleepy.

"Oh hey! Morning. Great day! Did you just wake up? Me too! Thats great! Nothing happened while you were sleeping, nothing between us. I mean not like that but in a way-" he rambled. She watched him blankly before interrupting.

"What?"

"Nothing!" His said, a slight blush to his cheeks. He scratched the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Whatever," Lucy sighed. She got out of bed.

"Were are you going?" Natsu asked.

"To take a bath, wanna come?" He knew it was a joke but he couldn't help but blush.

"Haha, good one, 'wanna come?' Ha, you're funny! See you at the guild!" He said in a hurry. He then grab his sleepy exceed's tail and jumped out the window. Lucy frowned as she saw them run through the street.

"What?" She asked again.

The guild was as rowdy as Lucy remembered. She took a deep breath before smiling.

"Home." She whispered. The other's still looked at he like she might turn into a bomb, but other's welcomed her warmly. And other's. . .

"Lu-chan!" Levy cried again. She still couldn't get over her best friend's reappearance. She poked her friend. "You still look exactly the same. I was hoping you'd come back as more a girl, or cuter, possibly even skinnier." Levy had been saying this the last week, as she expected her to suddenly change. Lucy gave Levy and annoyed look.

"Wow, thanks. I missed you too." Lucy sat down at a nearby table. She saw Erza enjoying a strawberry shortcake. Wendy was sitting next to her, a bright gleam in her eyes. Lucy couldn't believe she was turning 13 soon. Juvia watched them too. Since she had been reunited with her Gray, she didn't leave his side, but often dragged him over with her to spend time with Lucy.

Lisanna asked her all sorts of questions, not the kinds like everyone else's because Lisanna understood what it was like to have been pronounced dead.

Natsu watched afar. He sat on one of the high beams that supported the ceiling. He swung his legs back and forth like a 4-year old.

He wanted to admit to Lucy that he loved her. He always had, but it was when she died that he thought of her as. . . More.

Now he didn't know how to tell her. Maybe because she was dead; he was, shockingly, overthinking things; possibly imagining he was loving her more than he originally thought.

But now that she was here; Natsu just wanted to hug her. To go back on missions with her, to remind her that she was still one of his best friends. He wanted her to notice that he loved her without him having to tell her. But that was over simplifying it.

He wanted more. He wanted her in his arms, to feel like they were one. To hug her so tight; his body would envelop her own.

He watched her from the beam, Happy munching on a fish next to him. He easily could go on a quest to distract himself, but after the whole Malus thing; and Loki's warning that something bigger was coming, he wasn't in the mood.

So he swung back, legs hanging from the beam, and and let his hands dangle. Sighing; he rocked and summersaulted out of the air; landing on his feet.

"Natsu!" Mira protested. He had accidentally landed on her steak. He gave her a sheepish look and a toothy grin.

"Sorry 'bout that Mira-Jane." Before she could scold him more; he left, jumping off the table to the door.

"Come on Happy!" He yelled. The Blue exceed nodded and flew out the door to follow his best-friend.

When they were well away from the guild Happy asked Natsu where they were going. Natsu locked his fingers behind his head.

"I wanna to take a nap at home, I'm not feeling in the mood right now to do anything." He told the exceed.

"Except eat fish! Were always in the mood for fish!" Happy pointed out.

"Yeah, sure. Fish," he said faking enthusiasm. They reached their cottage behind the town in the cluttered woods.

Natsu grinned as he went in, happy to see home. He flopped on the bed face first.

There was dead silence as Happy watched him...

"I'm hungry." Natsu announced through his pillow; muffled. His voice broke the erie silence. "Let's go back to the guild."

Happy groaned in disbelief. "What? We just came back! If you were hungry you should have ate!" He protested; his voice climbing to a higher pitch.

"Yeah, but the walk made me hungry. . ." He said, eyes peeking up from the pillow.

"I can cook for you!"

"Haha, no Happy." Natsu said. "Last time you tried you burned the pot and eggs." Happy frowned at him.

"I didn't offer!"

"You just did," Natsu argued.

"No, I did." Natsu turned to the door and saw Lucy. She looked slightly annoyed. "Are you saying I sound like the cat? Because I don't!" She protested. Natsu grinned at her.

"At least you don't look like him," he said.

"Hey!" Happy protested, turning pale. . . Well; if his coat was invisible than he turned paler. . .

"But could you?" Natsu asked. Lucy nodded.

"Sure. I was wondering why you left the guild so early so I came to check up on you," she told them, making her way to the kitchen.

"Wow, thanks Lucy." Natsu said. He was pretty sure that was a first for them. "Hey, Luce, I need to tell you somethin'," Natsu said quietly, but Lucy didn't hear him.

"What should I make? Pancakes? Eggs? Waffles?" She opened the fridge and frowned. She moved to the pantry and open it to find it bare. "When was the last time you went shopping?"

Natsu looked up and scratched the back of his head, thinking. He drew a time map in his head.

"A month? It's not like I can cook, so I just eat out." He said. Lucy sighed.

"Alright," she said defeated. She close the pantry door and looked at Natsu; giving him a reassuring smile. "We'll cook at my place!" She cheered. Happy laughed and hugged her arm.

"Yay for Lucy!" He announced. Natsu watched them; amused. His family was finally together again. The year and a half that Lucy was gone was one of the hardest, too bad she lost her dragon-slayer magic, despite her protesting of it "not" being dragon slayer magic.

(It still was)

An aroma of steamed meat and sizzling vegetables filled the air. Natsu's mouth watered. Lucy had told him not to go into the kitchen, so he stayed on her bed.

He laughed evilly as he pulled out her story about the invisible man. He was pretty sure she had scrapped it a long time ago; but guess not.

He continued on from when he left off last time; but he forgot all of it so had to restart.

"Natsu, it's read-" Lucy stopped, eyes wide at Natsu reading her story. "Natsu!" She yelled. He winced, expecting her to kick him.

But she didn't. She frowned at him as she snatched it away from him. "Don't read it till it's done! Rule number one Draco taught me; be patient!" She said. He figured that's probably why she didn't hurt him.

"When's it gonna be done?" He asked eagerly. The invisible bandit had just stolen a princess' crown. A princess who looked a lot like Lucy. Natsu wished the prince looked like him, but it was the hunch-back Igor who had pink spiky hair.

Lucy sighed and dropped the papers in the trash. Natsu looked at her in shock.

"Lucy?" He asked hesitantly.

"I'm not in the mood of writing anymore." She said. "Too much of my life was scrambled for me to just go back to how they were. That's the real reason why I left the guild today. It's too abnormal." She sat next to him on the bed and buried her face in her hands.

"I haven't even thought about visiting my parents. When I was Kurai, I was so distant and alone; it's all I can live by now." She said. A tear slipped on her cheek, but opposite of Natsu, so he didn't see it.

"Don't worry, Luce!" Natsu said; putting a protective arm around her. "I haven't changed, so you can always count on me!" She nodded and wiped her cheek.

"Sorry, you must be hungry, it's ready." She said it quietly and walked to the kitchen. He wanted to hug her and comfort her but the thing was; he had changed. For better or worse, he was someone new. Lucy was too.

He wondered; was she still the Lucy he feel in love with?

Lucy sighed as Natsu left. She felt so depressed, like the day she found out she had been frozen in time for 7 years. She wanted to break down and cry, but the thing was; she felt stronger than that.

She felt like maybe all her hard times has made her into someone who could hold on their own, fight monsters by themselves, and grow by themselves.

But she didn't want to be by herself! She wanted her friends. . .

She hated to admit, but she thought she had become more Kurai than Lucy. She remembered how distant she was from Natus when she faked being Kurai. It had hurt like hell, but she couldn't have changed it.

"I'll make it work!" She announced, face set with determination. "I'm back and I don't plan on leaving!"

She strolled to her desk. She picked up all the stories she had ever written. She knew she had promised Levy that she could read the stories when she was done; but she'd never be done. Because writing was her life, and she wasn't gonna end it soon.

She picked up all the works she had devoted so much time to. She threw them in the trash. It hurt, but she had to do it. She was starting a new life again.

She pulled out a new note book, which in truth was over a year old. She opened the cover to the first page.

She grabbed her pencil and started writing.

"Title? Hm, I call it-" she heard a thump. She rolled her eyes knowing who it was. "Back already?" She sighed. Then she smiled. That might be helpful.

She opened the windows wide, scaring the daylight out of Natsu. "Lucy?!" He yelled. "Wh-What are you doing?"

"I could ask you the same thing, now get inside; I need you're help." He looked sheepish but obliged. He swung one leg over the window sill as Lucy picked up her notebook and pencil.

Natsu sat on the bed, and she across from him. She hummed for a second; Natsu watching her curiously.

She nodded at the paper and looked up. "Natsu I need you to tell me everything you had ever felt, remembered, and thought since we first met." He frowned.

"What? How would I remember that? Why?" Her face turned sour.

"Just do it." He shrugged and sighed.

"Alright- Happy and I were sniffin' out a rumor that a Salamander was suppose to make an entrance somewhere, so we traveled all over to find him. That's about when we met you-" and so he continued his tale about how he met Lucy, and she wrote it all down. She was surprise (though she had asked him) he revealed all he had thought and felt since that day.

Sometimes he'd stop and, shockingly, think for a moment before drawing a blank.

It was well past late when they had finished. Lucy yawned loudly and put down her notebook. Her fingers ached from the pressure she was putting on the pencil.

Natsu was almost as tired, although more parched. He left for a glass of water seconds after announcing his finish.

Everything Lucy had written down was from the day they met was to their most recent quest. Some gaps were placed here and there, but nothing a writer like Lucy couldn't improvise.

"Mind if I ask why you need all this?" Natsu asked, water sloshing back and forth in his glass. Lucy nodded.

"Wanna sleep here tonight?" She asked. He nodded and spread out on the couch. She yawned again and switched out the light.

"I was plannin' on writing another story- trashed all my others today." She said it quietly, trying not to disturb the darkness. She could hardly believe it herself.

"Why?" Natsu asked, his voice slightly ragged from sleepiness. Lucy shrugged although Natsu couldn't see her.

"It's been over a year, and I have the best story right in front of me; one that I can never finish until I die." She said.

"And what's that?"

"Fairy Tail." She whispered softly before her eyes shut slowly. This time they didn't open again. Her soft snores filled the room.

Natsu grew restless and sat up on the couch. He walked blindly to the bed. He went around near the window and scooted next to Lucy. He could smell her.

It was such a relief. Her scent was full and fresh, not like the fading stench that had echoed the guild for the last year and a half.

He couldn't help but sling his arm over her warm body. She stirred and he stiffened. Then she turned toward him and snuggled on his chest.

He suddenly felt awkward and stiff. Then he felt her melt on him and he too softened into the mattress. Lucy would have a heart-attack if she found herself in that position but for that night; Natsu didn't care. He sighed blissfully and closed his eyes; his chin resting on top of her head.

Lucy awoke, feeling strangely cold. She sat up groggily.

"Hm? Natsu?" She turned but the couch was empty. She frowned, she was all alone in the apartment.

She sat up. She suddenly chocked. "Didn't Natsu say he sometimes used my bath?" She asked herself, purple. She banged on the bathroom door, but it swung up under her hand. She looked around and it was empty.

She frowned and sniffed the air. Nothing smelt like burning food or fish. . . Maybe Natsu got homesick, or missed Happy, and left.

She ran the bath water and waited till it was full and steamy. Then she peeled off her dirty clothes and stepped in, sighing in pleasure as she felt the warm water soak her skin.

"Ah," she closed her eyes and went under, washing away her morning grungyness. It was over half an hour later did she get out. She wrapped herself in her towel, shivering and went out to collect her clothes.

"Hey Lucy!" She nearly jumped out of her skin.

"Natsu!" She yelled, covering her body.

"Yes?" She stared at him for a second, debating on whether to quickly grab her clothes or kill him.

"Wait here, let me get dressed." She said, picking out random clothes.

When she was safely back in the bathroom, she brushed her teeth and hair. She partially pulled some of her hair in a ribbon. Looking at her self she undid it and put it into two ponytails.

Suddenly, the mean Kurai came out.

What are you, 5? She asked herself.

Sighing, she pulled out both and tied her hair up in on high long pony tail. Satisfied, she walked back into her room.

"Wow, that took forever-" Natsu said before Lucy cut him off but bashing his head in.

"No one asked you, Natsu." She said in a agitated voice.

"Ow, sorry." Natsu rubbed his head. "Whatever. I'm walking you to the guild." Lucy frowned in shock.

"Why?" She asked. Natsu looked down with a pouty face and blushed.

"'Cause I want to," she was shocked that he wanted to do this.

"What do you want?" She asked.

"I just told you-"

"No, I mean, why are you being nice?" Natsu frowned.

"Because, I want to be. Lucy I haven't seen you in a year and a half, I thought you were dead-"

"Then where's Happy?" She asked. He paused in mid sentence.

"Okay, we want to go on a quest," suddenly; tears streamed out of his eyes. "We're broke, Lucy!"

"Correction; you're broke."

"So are you; you can't even pay rent!" She was about to protested, another brown pouch was sitting on her table. But that still left 16 months worth.

"Alright, fine. Is Happy collecting the rest of the team?" She asked. Natsu nodded, his eyes shinning.

Lucy rubbed the back of her head. "Let me choose, or any one else but you. Last quest you choose didn't really go well for me." She meant it as a joke, but Natsu's face grew dark.

"I guess I never really apologized for that." He said.

"Oh no, I was joking, you don't have to-" she was cut off by his bone crushing hug. She felt wet drops drip on her.

"Lucy, please don't ever do something dangerous like that again. I swear, if you died again; I don't think I'd be able to live." She gasped, breaking out of his grasp.

"Natsu! Don't say that! It's an awful thing to say and you're jinxing it! Do you want us to die?" She exclaimed.

"No! Of course not! And nothing gets jinxed unless someone calls it out as a jinx! I thought I told you- or, uh Kurai- that!" He protested. She crossed her arms over her chest and gave him a "hmf".

He growled. "Jinxer!"

"Flame breath-"

"Star gazer-"

"Slant-eyes"

"Dumb blonde-"

"Pinkie-"

"MS!" She gasped at his low comment.

"How dare you! I can have a boyfriend, or even husband, if I want!" She exclaimed.

He smirked. "Sure you can."

"Did your fire melt your brain, or my hot body? I mean- look at me!" She exclaimed striking a "cute" model pose but he laughed it off. She still smiled evilly at his blushing cheeks though. "I'm hot and you know it!"

"Right," his said drawing it out. "And I'm Mira."

She growled and bashed his head in. "You're about to become road kill in a minuet if you don't-"

"You guys argue like a couple!" The two turned their questioning gaze to the door. Gray leaned against the doorway, and Erza placed and hand on her hip.

Happy giggled, barley managing his laughter.

"Who asked you?" Natsu asked Gray, who was the one to have commented.

"You're mom, now let's go; Wendy and Carla are waiting." Natsu growled in frustration as Gray turned and left. Lucy sniggered at Natsu.

"Nice comeback- oh wait, that's right, you didn't have one!" Natsu growled and mumbled something about witty comments and followed Lucy out the door.

They were mean, but it did feel good to be with family again.

The quest was done in no time. Some bandits stole gold and valuables from the town and the team had to find them and return it.

Erza just changed armor; Gray misted his hands, and Natsu caught on fire. That was all it took for the thieves to hand it over.

The quest was short and sweet, and that's what Lucy liked. She probably got an equal amount of Jewels as she did any other solo quest she could do.

When they returned to the guild Lucy went home. During the trip, she had fallen and Natsu had tripped over her. She was pretty sore, and 100% sure that Natsu punctured her lungs.

She was also dusty from the days walk. She took a bath and stumbled over to her bed. She felt extremely lazy and only wore a long t-shirt and her underwear.

She laid in bed and fell asleep with the light on. She dreamed about something horrible.

She was watching downward on traintracks. Everything around the train tracks was covered in complete darkness. She seemed to speed over them, like she was the train.

Suddenly the darkness lightened and all around her were people. She knew them all; but then she realized: All the dead ones were on the right, and all the ones who were still alive were on the left.

She frowned as she sped on. Then she saw Malus. She tried to stop but she ran right through him. That's when she stopped.

There were only train tracks, nothing else. She looked around frantically; she wasn't moving anymore.

"Hey! Hello?" That's when she saw someone familiar step out. "Levy?" Levy looked at her blankley. She crossed from the left side of the tracks to the right. "Levy!" Levy disappeared.

Suddenly; Lucy saw random people; some she knew, some she didn't, cross over.

"He ruined our destiny. Die, we shall. Die, well shall." Whispered the voices.

"What does that mean? Who? Does it have something to do with me? Malus? The King? What's going on?" She asked frantically. She was getting scared. No one she knew were there and she felt like someone was gonna knife her in the back.

"Help!" She cried. "Help! Help!"

"Lucy?" Said a whisper. Her eyes widened.

"Natsu! Natsu! Don't cross over!" She saw him, he was looking at her strangely, like she was asking him to wear a chicken hat.

"Lucy? What's wrong? Lucy? Wake up, wake up." His voice wasn't his own anynore.

"Lucy!" She jerked awake, panting heavily. She looked around. She was back in her room. Natsu was looking at her with worry. "Lucy, are you awake?" She gulped and nodded, placing a hand on her head to steady herself.

"Yeah. What's gonna on?"

"You were having a nightmare." She shuddered remembering her dream. Was it just her reacting to what the King had said? She pushed the dream away.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

"You're light was on, so I thought I could check up on you." She nodded.

"Thanks, good thing you did."

"What was you're dream about?" She didn't want to tell him; at least by yet.

"I'm not sure, I guess I forgot already." He didn't look convinced but took it anyways.

"Go back to bed Lucy, i'll see you in the morning." He switched off her light and climbed out the window.

"Hey Natsu," she said to the darkness. "Could you stay here, tonight. With me, I mean." She chocked. Natsu was glad she couldn't see his checks heat up, remembering the night before.

"Ugh, sure, okay." He awkwardly climbed into her bed. He wasn't expecting her to hug him tightly.

"Please don't ever leave me again." She whispered.

"I promise."

After the shaky dream she had, Lucy was eager to get to the guild and be back with the living.

Immediately, she set off to find Levy. Relief spread through her body as she saw her friend, safe, sitting at the bar.

"Levy-chan! Levy-"

"Lucy?" Lucy ran over to her friend, tripped and knocked over Levy.

"Ouch, sorry." She said. Levy laughed.

"No worries, it's all good." She stood and gave Lucy her hand. She hoisted her up.

"So, what are you doing today?" Lucy asked. She saw Levy cross over from the living side to the dead, she was worried- ugh, what was she saying? It was a dream, that's all.

However, that didn't convince her.

"I was actually gonna head out on a job with Shadow-Gear." She pumped her fist in the air.

"Alright, be careful." Dream or no dream, she could still feel worried for her friend. . . right?

Levy nodded and turned back to her drink. "Mira-Jane! I'd like to take that job now!" She announced. Mira looked up from the water she was pouring in someone's glass and smiled.

She pulled out a piece of paper from the board as gave it to Levy. Levy scanned it quickly. Levy smile and nodded. "I'll be back in three days tops!" She announced. Mira nodded.

"Need a drink Lucy?" She asked. "I'll treat."

"No thanks, not really in the mood." Lucy gave her a reassuring smile. Mira smiled back and returned to the cleaning some dishes.

Lucy watched her friend tap her comrades' shoulders. They turned to her and they talked shortly before getting up and leaving.

"Have fun!" Lucy called, but she could hardly hear herself over the crowded guild.

She looked down the bar.

"Mira-chan!" Mira looked up at her from across the bar. "I'd like to take you up on that drink!"

Natsu gulped nervously. When all else fails, he knew she was his only hope. He felt like he was signing his soul to the devil. He could feel her demonic eyes on him as he opened the door which creaked dramatically.

"Great, now all I need are some bats." Natsu whispered.

"So you came?" She asked devishly. He swallowed thickly again before making his way over to her.

"So, what do you need?" He shivered at the smoothness of her voice. He probably feared it as much as Erza's.

"Mira, I need to tell Lucy I love her." Mira's eyes flared immediately as she smiled at him. She reached over the bar and grabbed his shirt front. Her teeth were as sharp as knifes, grinning like she had found out the perfect way to torture and kill him. He gulped again.

"Love huh?" She asked, pulling back and resumed cleaning a glass. "I don't know, Natsu." She looked at him from the corner of her eye, making it glide creepily to him. He shivered under her gaze.

"Please?"

"Are you sure- 'I love you' are some pretty bold words." She sighed sadly. She wondered whether he'd have the guts or not.

"I told her everyday for the last year and a half!" He protested. He was positive that he was ready to tell her, he needed to tell her.

"You told a slab of rock with her name scribbled in it. This is Lucy, living flesh and bone. Besides, you might be ready, but is she?" He hadn't thought about that. Was she?

"She just came back from the dead. She can barley breath without having someone try to catch it in a jar."

"Hey, Happy did that once to preserve her lung's air!"

"Anyway!" She interjected. "Lucy is smart, leave enough hints and i'm sure she'll get the jist, but pray Mr!" She poke him in the chest. "That you can do it right."

She was the devil alright.

----------------------------------------------

Done, but don't worry, if I can write anything; it's action, so there will be plenty coming up.

Whose read for my #2 writer problem?

No one? Alright! First off, you can skip from here, it's not necessary to the plot in any way. (Took me a few minuets to spell necessary -.-) Moving on. . . #2

"Sorry for the short chapter, I'm too lazy to write more".

So shamful. So very very very shamful. If you're writing something, at least have the decency to think about your readers, who support you, and waited for your update. "Yes! I get to find out who won the while entire championship that is revolved around the entire story" Lol nope, sorry, too lazy. So i'll give half this chapter because I don't want to make you wait too long for a complete chapter.

That's why you write chapters before hand. That way you can write your 10 chapter before one is even finished. I'm writing chapter 19 write now, and almost at the finale. I swore on my pride in 6th grade to my most favorite english teacher (and teacher of all time) that I would always write more than 1,000 words in a single chapter. I love this teacher, he was amazing. We called him old and a loner (although he was like 20-some and quiet good-looking). He always joked with us, basically all we did was work on personification and work sentence structures for half class, and read the rest. I love PJO cause of him, and he got me to read 200 chapter books. Yeah mom, thanks for motivation. He gave me a reason to write.

So I feel quiet outraged when people come out broadly and say; "sorry, too lazy to write more than this one scence." It's even worse when they announce it and just write it off. Then just wait till tomorrow, finish it, and publish it.

And the worse part; I have only ever seen it in Fan-Fics. That's more than 50% of my reading. Yes, I will and do respect every author who ever lived. It's not easy pumping out imagination. I don't have to like the story, announce the grammar perfect and find every sentence flawless to respect it as a writer's workpeace. I refuse to trash stories as such.

But when you write off something for being lazy? That's as low as an author can get. The point where you're beyond author, writer, and down to "I'm a kindergardener who scribbled over the lines with one crayon because I'm 5." But they're not 5. Anyone who is officially over 9 years old know not to ice a cake before it's baked, not to run the race before the trophies are made, and no one types before turning on the computer. So don't publish your chapter if it's unfinished. Don't publish it if your too lazy to "write more". Maybe if you're willing to write that, your story isn't just worth reading.

Ugh, I should just start a rant book. I'm glad i finished my rant. I felt as though if I hadn't written it down, the weight of it was going to crush me. I am tired though, and since it has been officially finished, I think i'm going to go to sleep.

See you next Sunday hehe, I'd say I might take a break, but I've prewritten them :3 although it does prove a pain when it's July and I'm talking about March. . . i wonder if it's even going to be July when I publish this.

I'll make a note to myself;

It's July 23, 2014. It's hot, I'm sun burnt, and probably going to post this in August. (Go away school!)
