Chapter 9.

I am so so so so so so so so so so so sorry, I lost my computer charger when I was cleaning my room so my computer has been dead

Y/n POV

As everyone gathered round in the hanger bay to the Castle of Lions Corran spoke up, "Now that you are all free what do you intend to do, where do you intend to go?"

Sam smiled, "Back home, we will all just ride in my ship back to Arcadia."

Henry walked toward me with sad eyes, "As much as I long to join you on your adventures, the throne calls." He kissed my hand and continued, "but if you ever need anything and I mean anything, message me right away and I will be at your side in an instant."

His words made me smile, however, my smile turned to a chuckle when Lance yelled, "Throne?! Y-you y-your a king?!"

Sam smiled, "We are only princes actually." Lance's jaw dropped to the floor and Sam continued, "As much as I hate to leave so soon, we where all there for away too long and so I know the kingdom is in need."

I nodded as much as it pained me to see them go, their royal duties matter more. They are family to me and that will never change. "I know, safe travels."

Corran helped pack supplies into the ship as everyone loaded in, the only person left was Henry. he walked toward me, his head hung low. When he spoke you could hear sorrow, "You know if it were up to me I would stay with you. I mean look at yourself you escaped that prison of hell and you are already beaten to the verge of death again.  And you haven't told them who you are still?"

My voice came low like his so the others wouldn't hear us, "If I told them who I was they would expect that y/n and it's to dangerous if they know.."

He sighed, "Yeah that is true." He smiled at me and then gave me a tight hug, "If at any point you need me or just want to talk or something, I will drop everything and come fly out to you and I mean ANYTHING."

I smiled, "I will." He stepped back with a sad smile as he started to walk to his ship. With one final wave they were gone. I turned to see all the paladins staring at me, "Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it."

Allura smiled, "It's no problem really. I do however have a offer for you but by all means feel free to say no, I don't want to pressure you into something you don't want t-"

I cut off her rambling, "What's up princess?"

She bowed and shut her eyes shut, "Will you join our team?"

The paladins stared in shock at the bowing princess, "Of course."

TIME SKIP:

Pidge eagerly showed my around the castle and told me found memories of this place, I zoned out with 15 minuets, getting carried away in my memories of this place. We finally came to a stop at the front of a door, "Here's your room, Keith's is just across the hall. If you ever need anything my room is down this hall and to the left."

I smiled, "Thank you Pidge." I walked into the room and set my duffel on the bed. I looked around running my hand over the walls. This room was still untouched, still the same as it was years ago. This room was always empty but I would always hide in here if I needed peace and quite.

I walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror as I took off my clothes. I was covered in bruises, cuts, dirt, and blood. Hopping in the shower I slowly turned the heat up. I just stared at the ground and watched the blood and dirt get washed down the drain. I finally gathered the strength to grab the bar of soap and started to clean myself of. I reached my left ankle that had  a red ring from the prison and I started to scrub it but it wouldn't go away. I finally was clean but it took me another 15 minuets to get out of the shower and dry myself off. I unpacked my duffel and contemplated what to wear.  I finally decided on a black T-shirt and a pair of soft black shorts. I stood up and started to walk towards the door when  my  vision started to sway. I clutched my head as blacks spots filled my vision bringing a  throbbing pain to my head. Then, everything went dark.

KEITH'S POV:

I was walking down to the dinning hall to join up with the paladins when I passed Willows room. I was relieved to hear that she was across from me that way I can keep an eye on her. As I passed her room I heard a grunt and then a loud thud. I stopped and went back and knocked on her door, "Willow?" no answer "Willow?" My voice rose with concern. I pulled out my knife and opened her door. Her room was dimly lit and right next to her bed there she was, laying in a heap. I gasped and crouched down next to her checking for a pulse, thank goodness there was one but her breathing was weak. "Castle turn the lights fully on."

As the room brightened I finally got a good look at her. She had long h/c hair that reached her feet (Your hair may not be that long in real life but it is in the story), Her arms and legs were littered with faded scars with a few that stood out, there was one on her right hand that was a straight line that was in the center in line with her middle finger. What stood out the most to me was the red ring on her left ankle. It looked to be a cut from a chain, my guess is that it's from being locked up in the Galran prison, the deepness of the cut made it obvious she had put a lot of force in trying to get out of it. My face saddened looking at her. She was pale from a lack of sun light and she was beaten up badly. I got up and went into the bathroom and grabbed a cup form under the sink and filled it with water walking back I cradled her head so when I tipped the cup she got water. I lifted her up  and set her on the bed and sat next to her, "Castle dim the lights."

I sat with her for what felt like 30 minuets and then she started to twitch. I stood up frantic not knowing what to do when she opened her eyes. She saw me and the next thing I know she's pinned me to the ground, one hand was firmly holding my hands above me head while her lift knee pressed down my chest, her other hand held my knife to my throat. Wait when did she get my knife.  I struggled trying to get her of me or to loosen her grip but to no avail. I almost screamed for help until I looked into her eyes. Her eyes looked like they where dimly glowing but it was obviously just the rooms dim light reflecting off them. Her eyes had a look of panic in them, it was a mixture of fear and anger, fight or flight and she chose fight. I relaxed my body and what felt like minuets but was only seconds had passed before her eyes calmed down and then widened. She gasped and jumped off me dropping my knife. I stood grabbing my knife as I stepped twards her causing her to step away from me. I was confused till I relised walking twards a girl ,who is in shock, while holding a knife is probly not the best idea. I dropped the knife and stepped tward her, this time she didn't back away.

I took anotheer step forward and I heard her voice, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that." Her voice was soft but coarse probably due to dehydration.

She  looked down at the ground. She looked ashamed, "Hey, hey, hey. It's okay." I stepped toward her and put my hand on her shoulder, "It's alright. I get it, new place and you wake up next to a stranger. I'm not hurt or anything, so it's okay." She looked me in the eye and I quietly gasped ever though the room is dim her e/c seemed to be bright.

" I mean no harm really, I just ha-"

I cut her off, "You don't need to justify yourself to me. I can tell that you have dealt with hell. It's okay, you're safe now." She seemed so have let out a breath that she was keeping in and relaxed. "How about we go get dinner." She smiled at that.

We walked out her room and started to walk to the dinning hall and I looked at her bruised body again and I thought'maybe I should take her to the healing pods first, the team would freak out if they saw that she was this injured'. As if reading my mind she reached for her bracelet, it looked like a silver and gold band were combined. She twisted the pieces and the bruises and cuts disapered. My jaw dropped and she spoke up, "Its a hologram, it just looks like they are gone. I looked her over again and I notice that the scars where still there along with the red ring on he ankle. "It hides what I want it to, the bruises and everything should heal in a day or two. Your healing pod will take just as long but you are right you team would freak out if the saw me like this so if you tell them of my state I will put you in a very similar one."

I stopped walking an d stared at her, "How do you know I  was thinking of the healing pod and the teams reaction."

She gave me a blank stare, "You said that out loud dummy."

My eyes widened and she chuckled as we entered the dining hall.

There's a whole lot I don't know about her.
