I stared at Reince as she followed behind a few girls that had waited for her at the end of our driveway. She gets to leave everyday for about six hours while I'm stuck here waiting and watching.

Momma won't tell me why though. So I can only wonder and wait to see why. My siblings are always giving me rude and hateful looks whenever they see me. So it must be my fault.

My momma waved to her with a smile on her face. No one smiled at me like that. Except for father, he would always give me a kind smile everyday.

But he died in a Quidditch match. He got hit and fell of his broom. The impact killed him.

I stood up and rushed upstairs as soon as I saw momma coming back. I should still be asleep right now, but I've been awake since I got a letter late last night right at the last minute of my birthday.

It was from this place called Hogwarts. I feel like it's a prank but no one outside our family knows I exist. So who would send it?

shut my door softly and picked up the letter again. It couldn't be
fake, it just looked to real. The writing, choice of words, and everything about it!

I set it down and glanced over to my window. When my letter arrived last night, it was carried by an owl straight to my window!I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the bird pecking at my window so late at night.

I sighed loudly and stared blankly outside as the wind picked up and started to blow.
There was definitely a storm coming.

I seized the letter and threw my door open not caring about how much noise it made. I then rushed down the stairs faster then I ever have before.

Not really knowing what came over me I came to a skidding stop just as my mother walked into the hallway.

"Mum. I got a letter."
