The different child, sent away
Anne Vaiun was walking through her house to start cleaning when her youngest daughter burst in breathing heavily.
"Mum I got a letter."
...
I stared at my mother waiting for her to do something. She just stood there quietly, staring at the letter I clutched in my right hand.
I watched as she stuck her hand out awaiting me to set the letter in her hand. My fingers tightened around the letter as I looked at her furious look.
"Give me the letter Ramilda."
"No."
"Give it to me now."
"No."
She was furious, I could tell. But I knew what she would do to my letter, so I didn't give it over. I was going to keep this letter, no matter what.
"Tell me what it is." I ordered.
"I cannot do so if you don't show me." She smirked, thinking she could outsmart me.
"Don't try to sound smart you filthy liar." I smirked back.
"I can't believe you would call me that! I am your own mother!" She breathed with hatred.
"Some mother you are. You didn't even care when father died. And besides nearly all of us nine kids weren't even fathers!" I hissed at her.
"You little bitch!" She screamed.
"I'd rather be a bitch then your daughter. The daughter of a selfish woman who chose to ignore and hate her only magical-wielding daughter!" I screamed right back.
"Well aren't you just a smart little girl." She wrinkled up her nose and glared at me.
"Smarter then you. Now tell me what this is!" I had enough of this pointless argument.
"It's your Hogwarts acceptance letter. You're going to Hogwarts."
She rolled her eyes.
"It says I have to go by school supplies but I understand you won't take me to get them." I placed my open hand on my hip.
"And that is the exact reason you are leaving. Now go pack." She ordered and pointed at the stairs.
I nodded and followed her orders, running back up stairs I started to pack.
...
"Yes I am sending her to your house. Make sure your fireplace is ready for travel."
Anne Vaiun quietly spoke into the phone connected to her wall. She was talking to Abraxas Malfoy, a close family friend.
She was planning on sending her daughter to live with the Malfoy's. She didn't want Ramilda to ruin her "perfect family".
"Don't worry about manners though. She's barely spoken since her father's death."
"That's good. Wouldn't want her influencing Lucius the wrong way." He responded, his smirk obvious, even if Anne couldn't see it.
They said their goodbyes and Anne hung up the phone. She was furious Ramilda had powers, but happy she could finally rid of her.
"Ramilda hurry up! We don't have all day!" She screamed and frowned.
Anne saw her daughter come down the stairs in a ivory dress with black flats.
"Smart. Changing into something nice for once." She sneered and leaded her daughter to a fireplace.
"Now leave."
