I'm Sorry
You and Nova headed back to your hotel, having kindly rejected the offer from Hoseok to go out drinking to forget the events of yesterday. Last time you drank, it got you into this whole situation, so for now you kindly declined and Nova of course refused to let you be alone tonight.
Walking back into your hotel room, you set your things down, took a long, scalding shower, and huddled up on your bed in a fluffy white robe.
"Your phone buzzed while you were in there." Nova said, pointing to the device as she sat on her bed watching TV. There was some historical movie on that she seemed pretty engrossed in.
You watched the screen for a moment before raising your brows. "Is that V?!" You gasped in surprise as you squinted at one of the actors.
"Yeah! He told me one night he starred in a film. I figured it might be worth a watch. There was nothing else on." Nova said with a smile and a shrug. "He's actually pretty good!" She said, almost as if she felt some pride toward his skill. You watched on as someone threw water on Taehyung's bound body. He looked different in the film. Instead of his usual short brown locks, he was wearing a wig that gave him long, dark brown hair. He was wearing traditional Korean robes and looked to be playing the part of an Imperial guard.
"They're fucking actors too?" You gawked at the angel on the screen in front of you. Was there anything that these men weren't good at?
"No, only V has done acting I believe. But, I heard Jin went to school for acting before becoming an idol." She explained.
Damn, the fame around these boys only seemed to get stronger each day.
Sitting on the bed, you grabbed your phone and began to filter through your messages.
Hey, I hope you didn't have any trouble getting out of the hotel. I took care of everything and calmed things down with my manager. So no worries, okay? - Namjoon
Attached to his message was a picture he had taken of himself with a cute animal filter over his face. The picture caused you to smile at your phone as you quickly tapped out a reply.
No trouble, Nova and Hobi came to get me. As for your manager, good. I'm glad I didn't get you into too much trouble.
You breathed out a relieved sigh that he didn't get badgered too hard by his director. For a moment you debated on asking if he smoothed things over with Jimin as well, but decided you didn't want to bring it up right now while the wound was still fresh. Literally, you could still faintly see the mark hidden under a layer of make up that his stylist team likely tried to conceal.
Hobi, huh? Feel free to get me in as much trouble as you want next time. - Namjoon
Bad news though, they've got me pretty stretched thin on my schedule for the next few days as punishment for it. - Namjoon
Damn. Looks like Moonie will have to keep me company then. You teasingly sent back a picture of you kissing the stuffed animal from the arcade.
Moonie just better not get any funny ideas. - Namjoon
Or what? You're going to pick a fight with a stuffed animal? LOL
If I have to. I've already done it once. - Namjoon
Your heart fluttered at the playful banter that you had missed so much. But that last message made your hand fly up to your mouth to stifle both surprise and a laugh you shouldn't let escape. You knew he was implying that Jimin was a stuffed animal and the thought shouldn't make you laugh. You were thinking of what to send back when your screen lit up with another message from someone else. Your pulse froze when you saw the nickname 'Jiminie~' scroll across the screen. Speak of the pink haired devil.
Taking a breath, you opened the long message.
Hey.. I wanted to apologize for how I acted the other night. There was no reason you needed to see that side of me and hear the harsh comments I made. I know you're not property, and I don't think of you like that. I was just caught up in the moment and spoke without thinking. I really hope you can forgive me for my words, at the very least. - Jiminie
You read over the message a few times before responding back.
Fine. I'll let what you said go.
A few seconds passed before he replied.
And what I did...? - Jiminie
That's a whole other story... You were still unable to say you really forgave him for escalating the situation the way that he had, not to mention throwing the first punch.
I understand. Let me make it up to you? - Jiminie
How?
Let me take you to dinner, on me? I'd like if we could sit down and talk about this. - Jiminie
Please, Y/N? - Jiminie
When you didn't respond right away, he sent you another message, desperate for you to hear him out. Instead, you sat in thought for a moment longer, replaying what Nova and Hoseok had suggested in your head. You had to let him show you how he felt about you. At the very least, you needed to figure out exactly what it was that you were feeling for the pink haired vixen on the other end of the phone.
Okay, sure. When?
Tomorrow? - Jiminie
Are you going to be skipping practice for this one too?
You weren't being rude on purpose, but he deserved that question after ditching his own friends without you asking him to.
No. We can go once I'm finished. But, it might be a bit late. - Jiminie
Fine by me. Where?
I can pick you up. - Jiminie
You debated on saying you'd rather drive yourself but... you didn't exactly have a car. You could take a cab there, and a cab back. But at the same time, if things went badly, you could still take a cab back either way. You accepted his offer and he gave you a time estimate. When you finalized the plans, his message back to you sent an unwelcome chill down your spine, and not in the good way.
I'll see you soon then. ;) - Jiminie
You gulped, swallowing down the irritation he unintentionally brought to you. That was your thing with Namjoon, and you admittedly didn't like it coming from Jimin. He sent you a picture when you didn't reply, and his face was trying to be flirty but you couldn't help but notice how the skin on his eye looked. You stared at his photo in silence. His eyes looked slightly red, and so did part of his cheek. Did Namjoon hit him in the eye? Your brows dipped at the painful thought before you set your phone down.
"So, I guess I'll be going to meet up with Jimin tomorrow." You sighed toward your friend across from you.
"What? Really?" She asked, breaking away from the television screen to look your way.
"He said he wants to talk about what happened." You explained with a deep breath.
"Well, can't hurt I guess. Do you want me to come with you?" She suggested, looking over at you concerned.
"No. I think I'll be fine." You said, kindly rejecting.
"Okay, let me rephrase that. Do you want me to follow you there and watch from a distance?"
"What are you? A professional stalker?" You questioned with a laugh.
"I mean, I can be." She said with a shrug. "Or at the very least be there to bail you out of a situation if you need it."
"I though we were over the whole 'They could be serial killers' talk?" You teased.
"Hey! I'm not saying they're killers buuuuutttttt--" She exaggerated, stretching out her words.
"What?!" You asked with a louder laugh.
"I'm just saying I can be there to knock someone out of need be. You don't fuck with my friends, especially not my best friend." She pressed with a serious stare toward you.
"I think I've had enough people hitting each other for the week, maybe for the rest of my life. I'm good."
"Alright, fine. But if anything goes wrong and you need me, you text me ASAP, got it?"
She narrowed her eyes, pointing her finger towards you.
"Got it, mom." You promised with a teasing tone before rolling your eyes. You flipped your phone nervously on the bed, you were anxious to see Jimin again. You couldn't get the bad taste out of your mouth and were once again wondering if you were doing the right thing here.
