Ky's POV:

Everyone hears the creak as the box comes to a stop. Thomas and Theresa stand to the side watching curiously as Newt and I exchange a quick glance. He and Alby rush forward to open the doors. With a tug, they rip the doors open, revealing an empty box. Well, at least empty of a new Greenie.

There is a sigh of disappointment from everyone.

"Well, don't just stand there shanks, get down there and unload!" Alby shouts angrily from the side.

Minho and Gally hop down into the box and begin unloading. A few boys stay to help but the rest disperse, going back to work.

Minho picks up a crate and hands it to Gally. Gally hefts the box up to some guy named Eli, winking at me. I flinch and gag internally. As Minho lifts another crate, I hear a gasp come from inside the box.

"What in the..." Minho mumbles, moving another box out of the way.

"ARGH", Minho jumps back, knocking into Gally. Gally sprawls across the box floor.

"Why the shuck would you do that!" Gally shouts, turning as red as a tomato. "You're such a slinthead!"

Minho is not paying attention to Gally though. His eyes are locked on the cowering girl in the corner.

"Gally, shut your trap!" he snips, reaching back and whacking him on the shoulder.

Gally growls and goes to smack him back, when he spots the girl as well.

I grin wildly.

Turning back to Newt and the boys who are walking away, I spin and dance with joy.

"THERE IS ANOTHER GREENIE!!!" I shout at the top of my lungs. "SHE WAS HIDING!!!"

The boys all spin around, rushing back to the box.

"She?", Alby asks.

"She", I confirm, grinning.

"Again?" He sighs.

"Again", I repeat, my body vibrating with excitement. Maybe she'll be nice unlike Theresa.

Newt smiles at my enthusiasm, and probably heard my snide comment too.

I turn to see that Minho has helped the girl out of the box. She stands, dazed, and looks around her at the Glade.

"Wow..." She whispers.

"Yeah, pretty damn awesome, huh?" I ask her, still grinning.

She looks at me like I'm insane.

"Awesome? I just woke up in a dark box, with no memory except my name! You call that awesome?!"

"Wow, I'm sorry. We all went through that, it's okay. What's your name?" I ask.

She looks down at her feet. "Madison."
