The Start of the Quest

Luke
"We are lost!" Luke groaned. Grover was nervous and kept tapping his hooves on the ground. "No, we're not lost, we just...don't know where to go and strayed off the path." Annabeth suggested. "I think you just stated the meaning of L-O-S-T, lost!" Grover finally lost (get it? Lost?! Nvm) it and bleated. "Annabeth patted gun on the back reassuringly, don't worry, I'm sure we'll find the path."
"Not so fast puny demigods." a voice echoed. Ananbeth hissed, "Get in a circle, face outwards. Wait for my signal." Grover and Luke obeyed without hesitation. Annabeth held out her dagger and her eyes shone with courage and determination. "Who are you?" Annabeth demanded. "Why, Annabeth Chase, I think you will find me quite familiar." An enormous bull with horns and a tail with thorns emerged from the trees. "Dr Thorn." Luke snarled. "Still remember how I kidnapped you milady?" He smirked at Annabeth. Annabeth raged with fury but still managed to look cute. She chose the most obvious option. She charged the stupid manticore.

Clarisse
Clarisse slashed through the wave of monsters. She never stopped for a moment and kept pulverizing any monsters who dared to take her on. It had been just hours after Luke, Annabeth and Grover had left on their quest when the monsters had attacked, along with the titans. Clarisse knew that she was glowing with the blessing of Ares. Nothing touched her but her strikes hit the bull's eye every single time. Clarisse was getting closer to Kronos and she raised her sword for the final blast. A searing pain ripped through her thigh. Clarisse screamed out in pain and spun around to see Hyperion grinning. Clarisse's vision blurred and she collapsed to the ground. Clarisse raised her arm, summoning her last bit of strength and flung her electric spear at Kronos' heart, 1000 miles an hour. The electricity pierced through his heart and he screeched in fury. The last thing Clarisse saw was Ares running towards her and then her vision went black.

Grover
Grover and Luke followed Annabeth's lead and focused on distracting the monster. Annabeth slipped on her Yankees cap and crept round the monster, invisible. Grover used his reed pipes to play a tree song. It caused the grass to grow longer and irritate Dr Thorn. Suddenly, a knife came out of nowhere and stabbed Dr Thorn straight in the heart. Annabeth ripped off her Yankees cap and stared at Dr Thorn menacingly. "You'll never, win!" Thorn gurgled before he dissolved into bronze dust.
"Grover, where are we headed to?" Annabeth asked. "Well, when Percy retrieved the lighting bolt, most of it was at camp so that's out. Oh...no...the Sea of Monsters is our next destination. Then Polyphemus' island." Grover shuddered at the thought of the giant cyclops. "Hey, Grover. We should get you to dress up as girl cyclops again." Luke suggested and he and Annabeth burst out laughing. "Hey! It's not funny! I almost got married or eaten by a giant cyclops." Grover protested."And I still can't decide which is worse." he added. "Guys, I think we need to cover more ground and fast." Luke suddenly turned serious. "Are you suggesting we split up?" Grover asked. "That is a good idea." Annabeth nodded. "Okay. So I'll do sea of monsters and Polyphemus. Luke, you do Manhattan and Olympus. Annabeth, you do the mountain that Percy blew up and..." Grover hesitated unsure of whether to say the name. "Yeah, Tartarus. I know, I know. Well, we'd better split up now." Annabeth grimaced. They had one more group hug then Luke and Annabeth both disappeared from sight.
