Angelica's POV
"Oh my god you look so beautiful. Alex look at our little girl." Father wiped fake tears.

"Father, it's just a photo shoot. We're just going a bit out of the city and then coming right back. I'm not getting married or anything. Not yet at least." I giggled.

"I know but you're growing up so fast."

My dress was a beautiful blue dress. My hair had a flower crown on top of it with light blue and white flowers. Nathaniel was wearing a white shirt and a pair of black jeans.

It was curled so perfectly and my red lipstick look stunning.

"Speaking of which, we need to get going." Nathaniel smiled. "Don't worry, I'll return her."

I waved bye to my parents and we left the house. "Oh, he's moving." I smiled and watched my belly move under my dress.

"He's excited. You have the chalkboard?" I nodded. "And the shoes and the pictures?" I nodded once more.

"Yes. Babe, I got everything. I promise. It's all in the backseat." Nathaniel nodded and sighed. "Everything's gonna be fine."

He reached for my hand and I gladly let him hold it. "My baby shower is next month." I smiled.

"I can't believe he'll be here soon. Easton's gonna be so beautiful like his momma." I blushed a little.

"And like his daddy." I added. "The photographer said he's on his way."

"I'm so excited!" Nathaniel smiled and turned to leave the city. "I love the location we picked." I smiled.

"Me too. These pictures are gonna be amazing."

The rest of the ride was pretty silent, the radio softly playing. "Here we are." Nathaniel parked the car.

We had chosen a beautiful park jud t outside the city.  Trees were covered in beautiful green leaves and a small lake had made us fall in love even more.

"Angelica and Nathaniel, right?" The photographer stepped out of the car parked next to ours. He smiled and walked towards us. "Mark Cohen."

"Hi, Mark." Nathaniel greeted. "Thank you again for taking us. I was worried you wouldn't considering our situation."

"That'd be rude of me. Besides, you're  looking at one of the best photographers in New York!" Mark smiled. "Let's start by the lake. I want to start with a picture of the three of you."

We all walked down to the lake and I sat down on the wooden park bench. "Angelica, that's actually perfect. Nathaniel, could you sit beside her and just be natural."

Nathaniel did and he smiled down at my bump before kissing it. The camera made a click and then he moved up to smile at me. I held his face and smiled too.

We finished taking our photos sitting down and I stood up.

"Angelica, let's do your solo photos now." I nodded and posed for the first photo.

I had the biggest smile in all the pictures. For once, I didn't feel like a 16 year old who made a mistake in her life. I felt like a normal pregnant woman.

We finished up our pictures and paid Mark. "Thank you again so much, Mark."

"It was my pleasure. Take care. You two have such great chemistry. I love it. I'll email you the pictures." He waved and got in his car.

I smiled and climbed in Nathaniel’s car. "Today was great." I rested my head against the headrest.

"Yeah it was." He kissed my forehead.

"I'm sleepy." I yawned. "Easton's taking all my energy." I giggled a little.

"Close your eyes. Take a small nap. We'll be home before you know it." He pulled out of the park and headed home. I grabbed the blanket from the back and closed my eyes.

Time skip

"Angelica, baby. Wake up, we're back." I opened my eyes to Nathaniel gently shaking my shoulder. "Hi." He smiled.

I rubbed my eyes and smiled back.

"Let's get you inside. You can sleep more in your room." He picked me up and carried me inside. I heard him greet my fathers before going up stairs.

"Nathaniel." I mumbled.

"Ssh. Close your eyes, sweetheart." He covered me with my blanket and took off my flower crown. "Sleep well, Ange." He kissed me gently and sweetly before pulling away.

I tried to say bye but the sleep took over.

Laf’s POV
"Can someone get the door?!" 'Erc shouted from his office.

"I got it, mon amour." I climbed off our bed and walked downstairs to the front door.

When I opened it, the person immediately flung themselves onto me.

"Adalicia. What are you doing 'ere?" I pulled away and held her face. "Come in, first." I led her to the living room and sat down beside her on the couch.

"Je-je me suis enfui." She looked down at the floor. "Maman est avec un mec depuis un moment et vient de m'en parler. Elle a remplacé papa!" (I-I ran away. Mom has been with a guy for a while and just told me. She replaced dad!)

My sister lost her husband when Adalicia was just 8 years old. He was in the French military and although he wasn't home often, he still loved his family dearly. Sadly, he was killed on the battlefield.

Adi is now a grown woman. She's only twenty but she is so talented. But she still misses her father and still struggles to get over his death.

I hugged my niece and kissed her head. "Adi, listen to me. Your mom struggles with the death of your father too. Her dating again is a big thing."

"I know that but, I don't want him to replace daddy." She frowned.

"And he won't. Victor will always be there in your heart, Adi." I rubbed her back. "I know you're upset and hurt, but running away was not the best option."

"I'm sorry, uncle." I wiped her eyes.

"Nathaniel is in his room. Why don't you guys catch up while I make the guest bedroom ready for you?" Adi nodded and smiled before going upstairs.

She left her bag down here so I brought it into the guest room. Having your niece travel all the way from France to the US and show up on your doorstep isn't exactly something I asked for.

"Herc." I knocked on the door to the study. "Can I come in?"

"Of course, baby." I opened the door and smiled. "Come here." I closed it behind me and sat on his lap. "Who was at the door?"

"Adalicia." He nuzzled my head into his neck.

"Adi's here? Is Adrienne?" I shook my head no.

"Adi needed a break from her mom." I mumbled, kissing his neck. "The guest room is ready for her."

"Well then how about we go out for dinner tonight?" Herc suggested. I nodded in agreement. "Now, you sexy thing." He grabbed my face and kissed me deeply.

I grabbed his short curls and began to grind down on him. He moved to kiss my neck and I moaned a little. "Oh, Herc."

He sucked on my neck, leaving a faint hickey. "Laf you're so goregous." I let my head fall back and let him do whatever he wanted to do to me.

Nathaniel's POV
"Come in."

"Hey, Nathaniel." Adi smiled. I got up and hugged her.

"Adi!!" She laughed. "It's been forever."

"Hey little cuz." She sat down on my bed like she always does. "What's up?"

"Not much. How about you?"

"Same old me."

My fave then lit up. "I want you to meet someone. Let me text them." I texted Angelica and asked if she wanted to come meet my cousin. She said yes and is coming now. "They're coming."

"So, how's high school treating you?" She asked with a smile.

"It's good. Junior year isn't as bad as I thought it was."

"Well that's good." Adi smiled. "High school goes by so quickly. It's crazy."

"Really? Cause my journey has felt like decades just through junior year." I chuckled and laid back on my bed.

Then, a knock came upon my door. "Come in." I smiled knowing who it was.

"Hey." Angelica smiled and closed the door behind her.

"Nathaniel, who's this?" Adi asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

Angelica came over and kissed me. I then kissed her stomach. "Adi, meet Angelica, my girlfriend. Angelica, this is Adalicia, my cousin."

"Oh my god you have a girlfriend and a baby." Adi covered her mouth with her hand. "Nathaniel, why didn't you tell me?"

"I'm sorry, Adi. I wanted to but I didn't know how. I can't exactly say 'surprise, I impregnated a girl!'"

"Angelica, it's nice to meet you." Adi smiled. Angelica smiled back. "Wow, she's goregous."

Angelica giggled and blushed a little. "Thank you." She sat on my lap with a hand over her belly.

"So when are you due?"

"Soon. In 3 months." She grinned. "We're very excited and nervous but ready to meet our son."

"Awe it's a boy. What are you going to name him?" Adi asked.

"Easton Quinn-Marquis Mulligan de Lafayette."

"Aww. Send me pictures and facetime all the time once he's born." Adi smiled so brightly.

"You'll be like his aunt. He can just call you Aunt Adi." I rubbed Angelica's back. "I have a feeling we're going out to dinner. We always do when family comes. Wanna join us?" I asked her.

"Sure. I'll talk to my dad's. Phillip’s got a date tonight anyway. He's meeting some of Daniel's older sibilings today."  Angelica smiled.

"Poor guy is gonna be so overwhelmed." I added.

"Nathaniel? Can I come in?" Pop asked.

"Yeah." Pop opened the door and smiled.

"Hey guys. We're gonna be heading out for dinner soon. Angie, are you joining us?" He asked.

"Yeah. Dad and Father said it's fine. They have work to do anyway and Phillip's gonna be gone so they'll have a quiet house." She responded.

"Perfect. Let me get my jacket and shoes on and we'll go." Pop left my room and I tossed Angelica my sweatshirt.

"Thank you." Then I tossed her my bottle of cologne. "Thank youuuuuuuu." She squealed before spraying the sweatshirt with it. "Adi, do you have a partner?" She asked as she tossed the bottle back.

"I do. His name is Louis. We've been together for almost two years now."

"Aww, you're still with Louis. I like him." I commented.

"Nathaniel, this is girl talk, shush." Adi rolled her eyes. "Men, am I right?" Angelica giggled.

"Kiddos! Time to go!" Pop shouted from downstairs. The three of us made our way downstairs and then hopped in the car.

"Herc, please let me drive." Pop gave dad the car keys and got in the passenger's seat.

"Everyone good to go?" We all said yes and we left.
