2 months later

Alex's POV
It was my turn to take Angelica to her appointment. Today was the day she found out the gender. Theo and Joseph are throwing her a small party tomorrow. They'll get to know but not anyone else.

3 months into her pregnancy and here we are, still hidden from everyone. She's been wearing Nathaniel's sweatshirts which are big enough on her to hide the bump.

"Dad, when we get to school, can we tell Mr.Woodhull?" Angelica asked.

"Of course. I'm glad you're ready to tell him." I kissed her hand and she smiled. "I'm so proud of you for keeping this baby and wanting them. Most girls wouldn't want to keep it. I'm proud of Nathaniel too. Proud that he's staying with you and he didn't leave you."

"I love you so much, dad."

"I love you too Angelica." I pulled into the clinic and parked the car. Angelica got out and wrapped her arms around herself, waiting for me. "Ready?"

"Yeah." She nodded and walked in. I checked her in and the lady at the desk smiled at her. Angelica was always friendly to everyone so she smiled back.

"Dad," she said. I looked at her in response. "I'm sorry." I held her hand.

"Dearest, there's nothing to be sorry for. Things happen. I don't love you any less." I kissed her head.

"Angelica?" The nurse called. She and I got up and walked back to an exam room. "She'll be right with you." And with that she left leaving Angelica and I in the room.

"Christmas is coming soon. It's December 5th." I told her. "Is there anything you want?"

"For this child to be out of me." She laughed a little and rubbed her stomach. "But honestly, I want Mean Girls tickets."

"Anything else?" She shook her head. "A new car maybe? I know you've been wanting an Equinox." I suggested.

"A new car would be nice. Especially since the Malibu has barely any room in the back, the baby wouldn't fit." She looked at her growing stomach.

"I'll talk with your father. How are you feeling? You're almost done with your first trimester." I rubbed her back.

"I'm already tired and exhausted and I want this baby out me." I heard a small chuckle from her. "I just wanna hold them and love them." She smiled.

"Well, they're gonna have the best mother in the world. And tomorrow, you find out if you're having a boy or a girl." I smiled too.

"I know. It'll either be Easton or Marie. I don't care about the gender, I'll love them no matter what." She sweetly replied.

A knock came on the door and the doctor entered. "Mr.Hamilton, Angelica, glad to see you guys here. Any problems, love?" She asked.

"Nope. Everything's been going smoothly thankfully." Angelica answered.

"Good. Any movement? You're getting to the point where you should be feeling some movement." She asked as she squirted some gel onto Angelica's stomach.

"I hink I might have felt a kick the other day." Angelica shuddered from the cold of the gel a bit. She turned her head to the monitor as the doctor placed the probe on her stomach.

It took a few seconds but she found the baby and it's heart beat came through to us. "There they are."

Angelica had tears in her eyes. She smiled at me as I pet her hair. "They're healthy and growing right. They're growing in the right position as well."

Angelica wiped a tear away. "I can't believe that's really my child."

"There's their head, and that's their feet." Dr.Lapen said as she moved the probe around. "Pictures?"

"Yes, of course. Plenty of them." Angelica laughed a little. Dr.Lapen printed some pictures as well as an envelope sealed with the gender. I snatched from Angelica.

"I'm keeping this. I'll give it to Theo at school." Angelica frowned but gave up and nodded.

"You guys are good to go." She wiped Angelica's stomach off. "I will see you for your next appointment. Have a good day, let me know if something is wrong." Angelica smiled at Dr.Lapen and we headed out.

"I'm growing a human being. And they're getting so big." Angelica rubbed her stomach. "I'm ready to tell Mr.Woodhull." She sighed.

"He'll support you. He'll help protect you, I promise." The two of got in the car and I drove off to school. "You want Nathaniel there when you tell him?"

"Yes. And Father. Can he leave class for me?" Angelica asked.

"Yes."

After a few minutes of driving, I pulled into the parking lot of the school. "Bleh. School." Angelica fake gagged. I chuckled.

"You're just like your brother."

"Yeah but Philly is weird. I'm not." She joked, grabbing her backpack. We walked in together.

"Hey, Anna, is Abe in his office?" I asked the secretary.

"Yep. Good morning Angelica." Anna smiled.

"Morning Mrs.Strong." She replied.

We walked down the hall of the office to Abe's office. "Knock knock." I said before opening the door.

"Alex! Good to see you. How'd the appointment go?" Abe asked, looking up from his computer.

"About that, can you call Nathaniel Mulligan de Lafayette down here for me?" I responded.

"He should be in Mr.Loftin's class at the moment." Angelica perked up.

"Umm, sure. Is everything alright?" He paged up to Loftin's for Nathaniel.

"Not really." I played with my fingers.

After a minute or two, Nathaniel entered the room and sat beside Angelica. She laced her fingers into his.

She whispered something into his ear and he nodded, giving her hand a squeeze.

"Mr.Woodhull, we understand you might have never dealt with this before but, Angelica is pregnant." Nathaniel softly spoke. "She's 3 months."

Abe was shocked. "Oh my. Well, Angelica. I will be on your side for the rest of the pregnancy. Can I alert your teachers? If something happens, I can't be in every class."

"Yes." She spoke.

"Well, then I guess you can go to class. I will have a meeting with your teachers during study hall. If you have any problems, come see me immediately. Have a good Angelica." Abe responded.

Angelica and Nathaniel left his office. "Alex, Miranda High hasn't seen a teen pregnancy in years. How the students will react, I can't control."

"I know, she just needs to know you're on her side. Abe, John and I are doing are hardest to protect her. But like you said, we can't be everywhere at once." I stated. Abe nodded.

"I'll make sure nothing happens. She's doing good hiding it." I nodded. "You should probably go to your class and relive the sub."

"Bye." I left his office and stopped by Mrs.Cantelli's class on the way to my classroom.

"Mr.Hamilton, how may I help you?" She responded. All the students looked at me.

"I just need to give something to Theodosia." I smiled and slipped the envelope in Theo's hands.

"Thanks Mr.Hamilton." Theo responded. Phillip was sitting beside her. I waved a little and he waved back.

"Thank you Mrs.Cantelli." I left the room and entered my class. Time to work.

~Time skip to the next day~

Angelica's POV
"Ahhhhhhhh! I'm so excited." I sat and ate lunch at the table. "Baby Mulligan is gonna have a gender !"

Nathaniel came over earlier this morning to spend time with me before the party. Theo and Jospeh were setting things up because the party was in an hour.

"Hi little one." Nathaniel kissed my stomach. "It's me again, dad. I love you so much. I can't wait to find out if I'm getting a little boy or a little girl."

I smiled at him. "You're gonna be such a good dad." He looked at me and held my face. "I love you."

"I love you too, Angelica." He pecked my lips gently.

"What do you want for Christmas?" I asked, running my hands through his short hair.

"For our baby to be healthy and to have you by my side." He gave a warm smile. "And maybe some more cologne."

I laughed. "Okay then. But isn't your cologne from France?"

"Yes but, you can buy it here. Ask my dad about it, he'll tell you. So now what do you want?"

"Hmmm, I already asked Dad for Mean Girls tickets. A bit of makeup would ne nice. Gift cards are acceptable." Nathaniel nodded.

"Noted." He said. "I can't believe you're 3 months into this already."

"I'm due the week before we leave school. I'll be 8 months when it's prom." I rubbed my stomach.

"And you'll look so goregous." Nathaniel kissed my stomach again and then kissed me.

"Alright lovebirds. Everything is all set up outside. Your uncle is bringing the cake, the front parlor is set for when everyone starts coming." Theo announced as she and Joseph walked into the room.

I hugged her. "Thank you so much for doing this." I felt her hug back.

"You're my best friend, it's nothing. You deserve this." She smiled. "Now, go get changed. You're still in pajamas."

I laughed and walked up to my room. My dress has been laid out since last night. I smiled and put it on.

"Angie? Can I come in?" Theo asked.

"Of course." She opened the door and gasped.

"Oh my god. You look amazing. I love the blue. You look like a snowflake." She kinda joked. "And look at the baby." She touched my bump. "I'm gonna be an aunt!"

I giggled. "Yes. Aunt Theo. I don't wanna consider Joseph the baby's uncle. I hate to say it,T, but you might not be with him for the rest of your life. I know you'll be in my life for as long as we live."

"I understand." Theo smiled. "Now let's go downstairs. Angelica and Thomas and the kids are here."

"Auntie Angie!" I ran down the stairs, holding my dress up. I hugged her tightly.

"Sweetie." Auntie Angie hugged back. "Oh honey, look at you! You look so beautiful."

"Thanks Auntie." I smiled.

"Angie!" Tina and Elise hugged my legs.

"Hi girls." I picked Elise up and ruffled Tina's hair. "You guys are getting big. I remember holding you as a baby."

"Now you have a baby!" Tina said, smiling.

"Yes. I do." I kissed her head. I put Elise down and hugged Uncle Tommy.

"Hey darlin'." He said as we hugged. "How yah feeling?"

"Tired." I laughed.

"I bet. Your aunt was just as tired." Uncle Tommy smiled. "But having a child truly is a wonderful thing."

I nodded and walked into the kitchen. "Oh my god, Theo, you went all out." I said at the amount of food.

"Well, you didn't say I had limits." Theo shrugged and popped a strawberry into her mouth. "Now go mark a tally for what you think the baby is gonna be."

I jokingly rolled my eyes and put a tally using blue chalk under a boy. Nathaniel was also hoping for a boy.

"Look at my beautiful girlfriend." Nathaniel wrapped his hands around my waist from behind.

"Hi baby." I smiled and turned to face him. "It's all perfect." I said.

"Yeah. Theo did an amazing job setting this up. Everyone is here except my dads. Dad had to finish the cake." Nathaniel informed me.

"Bonjour bitches." Uncle Laffy walked in.

"Not in front of the baby, Laf!" Uncle Herc scolded him. "Hey Angie." He hugged me.

"Hi Uncle Herc." I laughed and hugged him. He gave the best hugs. "Hi Uncle Laffy." I said as I hugged Uncle Herc.

"Bonjour, amour." He smiled. "I shall put the cake on the table."

"Now that everyone is here, can we all please make our way outside for the reveal. I don't want it to get any colder out there." Theo said. Everyone followed her and she gave the guests each a confetti popper and had Nathaniel and I stand under a balloon.

"On three, you're going to pop the balloon and I want everyone to pop their confetti." Joseph was recording and taking pictures.

"One......two.......threee!!!"

I screamed in joy as the colored confetti hit us and glitter fell from the balloon. "IT'S A......"
