"GUYS, the limo is coming at six," Kyler announced. "So don't be late or else we're leaving. 'Cause my date and I, we on a mission."

Gwen scoffed and went through her backpack to find her water bottle. "Hey," Robby walked up from behind her.

"Hey," She greeted before looking back at her bag. Once she found her bottle, she took a sip.

"You're, uh... you're gonna go?"

"To prom?" Gwen questioned and zippered up her belongings. "Depends if my mom is going to be home tonight. Someone has to watch Kenny."

"Alright, class fall in." Kreese walked out of his office and stood in front of his students. "Today's lesson is about balance. Not the way Miyagi-Do teaches it. You're going to learn how to get inside the heads of your opponents and throw them off balance." The sensei explained. "Pair up."

Gwen and Robby shared a glance, knowing they were gonna work together. The students moved out of the rows with their partners, Gwen standing in front of hers.

She sent a punch and Robby pushed it away with ease. "You should go," He began. "You deserve a night off to have fun."

"You don't think I know that?" Gwen rolled her eyes.

"Crashing you-know-who's big night would be a way to get your opponents off balance." Robby told her with a small grin.

Gwen straightened up, knowing he was talking about Sam. "Not as much as if you showed up."

"I'm not a student anymore. They won't let me in."

"They're going to because you're going with me." Gwen stated as she blocked his weak punches.

"Did you just ask me to prom?" Robby questioned, feeling a bit happy inside.

"I'm making your dreams come true, Keene." Gwen joked with a shrug.

"Well, it's such short notice." Robby sighed. "We'd have to get a ride. Still need a tux."

"I think it's a great idea," With the familiar voice of their sensei, Robby and Gwen looked up at Silver. "And if you're going, you're going in style."

Silver walked past them, Gwen and Robby shrugging in response. The door chimed, signaling that someone walked in.

It was Sting-Ray, an old Cobra Kai student. He wore a karate gi on and Gwen didn't know who he was.

"Sensei!" He walked up to Kreese, muttering a few words before he got kicked out.

Gwen could've swore she saw tears forming in his eyes but she didn't care enough.

GWEN FIXED up her makeup, already having her dress on and her hair ready. Her mom decided to take off work that night to watch Kenny and be there for Gwen when she got ready for prom.

"Gwenny!" She heard her mom from down the hallway. "Your dates here!"

Gwen was slightly nervous but tried her best to swallow it down. She grabbed her purse and took one last glimpse of herself in the mirror.

Her long dress was an emerald colored green that was covered in sparkles. It was nicely fitted with a long slit and complimented her curves nicely.

The dress was definitely expensive but she thanked her Sensei for buying it for her.

She walked out of her room and down the hallway. Robby waited to see the girl and when he did... the boy was stunned from how mesmerizing she looked.

Gwen had a smile plastered on her face when she saw Robby waiting there with a small container that had her corsage in it.

She had to admit that Robby looked handsome in his dark red tux with his hair nicely styled and not messy like when he's in the dojo.

Gwen walked up to him. "Wow, you-you look beautiful," He stuttered, not taking his eyes off of her.

"You don't clean up that bad yourself," Gwen complimented. She glanced down at the closed corsage and Robby shifted his eyes to where she was looking at.

"Oh!" He realized and quickly took out the flower out of the container. Robby gently grabbed her hand and slipped the corsage on.

Gwen looked up, her brown ones meeting his green eyes and she let out a soft chuckle.

With Gwen's bright smile, her eyes not tearing from Robby's, a white flash was snapped quickly and confused them both.

They looked at Gwen's mom, who had a camera in her hand. "Beautiful photo," She told them, looking at the image she took.

Gwen rolled her eyes, "We have to get going," She grabbed Robby's hand, tugging him away. "See you later!"

"Curfew is at 10!" Mom reminded.

Gwen gave her a thumbs up and stormed out of the house with her date.

"We're taking an uber?" She asked Robby.

He grinned and took out a pair of car keys. The car made a noise and Gwen gasped when she saw the red expensive car. "Sensei Silver let me borrow it for the night."

Gwen squealed and walked to the passenger seat.

Sam groaned and touched her ankle, slightly rubbing it. Her and Miguel were getting drinks from dancing too much. "High heels?" He questioned.

"No, no." She denied. "It's the flying tornado kick Johnny had me practicing. Don't understand how I'm gonna use it at the tournament."

"I thought we said no karate talk?"

"Right, right." She poured him his drink. "Tonight is just about us." Sam smiled at her boyfriend and clapped the cups together.

"Cheers," Miguel smiled.

Gwen and Robby walked into the white curtain with her arm wrapped with his, the colorful lights shining on them. She was surprised with the beautiful and bright decorations all around the venue.

The pair walked down the small steps and glanced around, seeing students with their dresses and tuxes. Robby and Gwen turned their heads to left, seeing Miguel and Sam near the drinks.

"Oh my god," Sam muttered out when she saw her ex boyfriend with her new rival.

Miguel raised his eyebrows in surprise and Gwen smirked at the reaction that she prayed to happen.

Robby didn't care to show Sam any attention and instead only focused on his date for the night.

He dragged Gwen to the dance floor while 'Fade into You' by Mazzy Star filled the background.

It was a slow dancing song, causing teens with their dates to also hop on the floor. Robby gently snaked his arm around her waist and brought his hand up with hers, intertwining them slowly.

Gwen was taken by this. "Smooth," She complimented. They swayed to the song, "Didn't know you were a dancer, Keene."

Robby smiled. "Had some practice from my mom since she was a dancer."

"That's cool," Gwen spoke. "I never really liked dancing. My family does, especially Kenny but not me."

"You're not bad," Robby reassured her.

"I mean all we're doing is slow dancing." She rolled her eyes. "How hard can that be?"

On bad timing with her words. Gwen stepped on Robby's shoes, causing her to trip on her feet. He didn't let her embarrass herself though when he had a strong grip around her waist to break her fall.

Robby gave her a pointed look, her lips turning into a firm line. "Okay maybe it's a little hard." She admitted.

"Don't worry," He shrugged. "You'd win a karate competition before a dance one."

Gwen gave him a small smile. "I really hope so." She sighed. "I just don't want to disappoint anyone."

"You're not."

"You never know." She shook her head. "I mean Sensei Silver has been training me hard every week and if I lose... he'll be so pissed."

"I get that but all you need to know is that you tried your best. Whether you win or don't win."

Gwen smiled at his genuine and kind words. She really liked him. The relationship was supposed to be fake but her feelings turned a little real in that moment.

Part of the reason they even started fake dating in the first place was for Gwen to help him get over Sam. She still thinks there are unresolved feelings between them and Gwen didn't want to get in the way of that.

She sighed and stepped closer to him, burying her head down on his shoulder. "Is she watching?" Gwen asked, referring to Sam.

Robby didn't bother to look. He shook his head and looked down at the girl. "I don't care."

With those words leaving his mouth, Gwen lifted up her head, surprised at his response. She beamed and continued to gaze at her date.

The two gave each other heart eyes as they continued to sway to the song. Sam on the other hand, kept peeking behind her boyfriend's head to send glares at the couple.

Miguel turned his head to the direction she was staring at and scoffed when his eyes landed on Gwen and Robby.

He looked back at the LaRusso, "Sam." He groaned.

She tore her eyes away from them and looked back at Miguel. "What?"

Miguel looked down and shifted uncomfortably on his feet but didn't stop slow dancing with her.

THE AFTERPARTY for prom became quickly crowded. Gwen and Robby entered the party, glancing around the expensive house that was filled with drunk teens.

"I'm going to get a drink," Gwen told him when they walked into the kitchen.

"Alright," Robby nodded. "Can you get me one too?" He asked.

She nodded and went outside, near the pool for the keg. Gwen stood on line, a couple in front of her. Her heels were slowly killing her the whole night and she was tired of them.

The line got shorter and the couple in front got impatient and left the line. Gwen walked forward for her turn but was met with the girl in the pink dress.

Sam turned around and Gwen huffed, already knowing where this was going to go.

Sam glared, "Seems like you are always behind me in line. First in Karate and now Robby. I have a half-eaten cupcake if you want some?"

Gwen let out a laugh. "You know, I'd kick your ass but it seemed like Delilah already did that job for me."

Sam scowled. "Tell her to stay the hell away from me."

The Payne girl stepped forward. "Sorry," She smirked. "I don't take orders from bitches that steal other peoples boyfriends."

That comment seemed to get Sam to stop talking, narrowing her eyes. Sam slowly turned around and Gwen looked away, thinking the conversation was over.

Without any warning, Sam sent a kick to Gwen's gut and she grunted in pain. Gwen backed up when Sam tried to send another one her way and blocked the punches that Sam was throwing at her.

Her heels made it harder for her and Sam had more the advantage since she was barefoot. The LaRusso girl landed one kick that Gwen failed to move away, giving her the opportunity to go around Gwen and pull her to the cement ground.

Miguel ran to the corner, seeing the girls. "Sam, stop!"

Sam's fist almost made contact with the girl but Miguel stopped her before dragging her away from Gwen. "What are you doing?!"

Gwen sat up, anger finally boiling over her and she shrugged her heels off of her.

"I'm doing what Johnny said," She defended. "I'm not taking her shit anymore!"

When Gwen got up, she raced towards Sam to attack her but before she could Miguel noticed and was fast enough to grab the girl. "Get off of me!" She shouted.

Miguel lost his balance and the two fell on the ground. He still had the girl on a grip so she wouldn't escalate the fight and Gwen tried hard to push him off. "Let me go!"

Robby finally noticed the commotion that was going on outside and his eyes darkened when he saw Miguel and Gwen fighting. "Get off her!" He yelled.

He ran towards them and grabbed Miguels arm, pulling him away from Gwen. Robby was about to throw a punch towards his way but Sam quickly defended her boyfriend and grabbed Robby's arm.

She pulled on his hand and raised it as he groaned. "You think I broke your heart? You broke mine too!"

Gwen looked up and saw how his eyes softened when she confessed that, growing more angry.

She had enough of Sam and swept her feet, causing the LaRusso to yell out a little yelp as she fell on the ground.

The crowed 'oh'ed at the action, feeling their pain while watching the scene in front of them. Robby rushed to help Gwen up before they turned their heads and stared at Miguel and Sam.

Sam growled and lunged a kick towards Gwen but Robby pulled the girl out of the way so she wouldn't get hit. He gave Gwen a twirl so that she can send a long kick to Sam and she backed up, trying to avoid getting hit.

It was like dance fighting now, which Gwen didn't expect to do. Robby spun around, hitting Miguel's shoulder.

When Robby and Gwen shared a glance, noticing the couple standing on the same side, he twirled the girl around and she jumped, extending her legs, allowing them to hit Miguel and Sam, causing them to fall.

The two groaned and recovered fast enough to get back up and into their fighting stances with determination. Robby and Gwen lifted up their fists, glaring at them.

Gwen decided to strike first this time and throw a kick towards Sam, in which she blocked but didn't expect Gwen to send another one that fast and didn't have time to shield herself.

Sam placed a hand on her cheek after that kick landed on her cheek. Sam huffed and threw a punch towards Gwen, her bending down to avoid it and kicking Sam on her side, making her knees bend.

Gwen raised her leg to send a front kick but Sam grabbed it on time but before she can do anything, the two girls and Miguel were sent to the pool.

"Oh, we're jumping in the pool?" The crowd chuckled. "This is the greatest night of my life!" Sting ray yelled out before jumping into the pool.

The teens started to hop into the water and Gwen resurfaced, her hair falling down from the hairstyle she had. She swam towards Robby, who bent down and looked down at her.

"Glad that you managed to stay dry but can you help me out?" Gwen asked with a hidden smirk.

Robby nodded and stretched out his hand. Gwen grabbed it and Robby widened his eyes before she flipped him into the water.

She laughed when he resurfaced and cheered, water splashing when she lifted her hands up. He chuckled, the pair forgetting about the fight that occurred not even a minute ago.

ˑ༄'

LAUGHTER FILLED the air, Gwen and Robby sitting in the parked red car, the glowing lights from the carnival rides giving them an amazing view. "That hook kick was awesome. Did you throw that blind?"

"Oh please," She playfully scoffed. "I can throw that if I was sleep walking."

Robby laughed. "It's a good thing my amazing dance moves reflected on you, it came in handy with that twirl."

Gwen shifted in her seat. "I can't believe Sensei Silver let us borrow this car. It's so sick!"

"Yeah, I know." Robby turned and looked at the wheel. "Gotta return it tomorrow though, so..."

"Same with this," Gwen's hand went behind her back and pulled out the hidden tag in her dress.

Robby laughed, leaning his head back. "Nice!"

Gwen smiled when looking at him. "I have to hang it up when I get back home. Hopefully, it's all dry by then. We should get our money's worth."

Robby didn't say anything and continued to gaze at the girl next to him. He was mesmerized by every single one of her features, not being able to look away.

He glanced down to her lips before shifting his eyes back up to her eyes. She noticed him leaning forward and didn't stop him.

Robby moved his hand and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear before Gwen answered him, closing the distance between them.

The kiss was soft and gentle, everything she expected from him. Her heart skipped a beat every time she was with Robby, she just didn't notice it then. When she was kissing him at this moment, it felt like fireworks went off in her mind.

Robby forgot all about the LaRusso girl when he was with Gwen. She was the girl that was for him all along, he just didn't realize until he truly got to know her.

And he liked and admired every single thing about her, whether it was her flaws or habits.

The kiss quickly turned heated, both of them kissing with a type of hunger and passion. Robby felt that she was too far away and slipped his hand under her thigh.

Gwen pulled away and took this as a sign before making a bold move and slipped into Robby's lap, her easily straddling him.

He looked up at her, completely stunned and his eyes filled with lust. She reconnected their lips, Robby wasting no time to sneak his arm around her waist while she placed her hand on the back of his neck.

Gwen and Robby would never forget the warm and lustful moment they shared that night.
