"I MADE pizza bagels!" Gwen told her brother with a smile.

Earlier, when Kenny got home from school she asked him how his day went but he didn't want to talk about it. She respected that and didn't bug him afterwards.

He turned from his computer and walked over to his sister. Kenny took the plate from her hands and gave her a cheesy smile. "Thanks, Gwen."

He placed the meal on his table and continued playing on his computer. Kenny seemed happy when playing the game.

"Did you do your homework?" Gwen raised her brow at him. Kenny gave her a nod and continued tapping on his keyboard.

Gwen closed his door and went into her own bedroom. She flopped on her bed and sighed. She was so tired. Gwen felt her eyes close until her phone started ringing.

She huffed in annoyance and grabbed her phone that was beside her. 'Dad' was written on her screen and she quickly answered it.

"Dad, hey!" Gwen sat up from her bed, a smile written on her face.

"Hey, Gwenny, How are you?"

"I'm fine. How's everything over there?"

"A little stressful but I'm alright. How's your brother and your mother?"

"Well... it was Kenny's first day and he didn't seem that happy when coming back home from school and mom is always at the office."

"It's only your brother's first day, maybe he's still getting used to it. And please be there for your mother."

Gwen frowned, "I'm always there for them, dad."

"You promise?"

"Promise." Gwen stated. One thing about Gwen is that she never broke her promises. "My day was so chaotic... you won't believe the type of people I met."

Gwen heard someone speak in the background from the other end of the call. "Hey Gwenny, I'm gonna have to call you back."

Gwen glanced down in disappointment. "Yeah, okay, i'll talk to you later, dad."

"Bye, sweetie."

"Bye," she mumbled and hung up the phone. Gwen walked over to her bag and pulled out the homework she had to finish by tomorrow.

Kenny walked into her room, wearing a weird cosplay costume. "Hey, i'm gonna meet up with a friend." He was about to shut the door but sighed when he heard Gwen call his name.

"Kenny..." she gave him a pointed look. "What are you wearing? And what friend?"

"Me and my friend are cosplaying as our favorite characters from a video game. Her name is Lia."

"Lia..." She narrowed her eyes and tilted her head. "A girl?"

Kenny rolled his eyes. "Yes, a girl. Can I go now?"

Gwen smiled and nodded, "Yeah, you can go but please tex-"

"Text me when you get there," He finished her sentence. "I know, I'll see you later."

Kenny closed her door and Gwen laid down her books on her bed.

GWEN MANAGED to finish all of her homework and was watching tv in her living room. She heard a knock on the door and went over to open it.

Delilah Fox stood there, a smile on her face. Gwen and her met when Delilah was smoking weed near the small store near the strip mall.

Gwen always used to do her boxing lessons near that area before she had to quit to take care of the house. They've been great friends ever since.

"Wanna smoke?" Delilah held up a black plastic bag. Gwen gave her a squeal in excitement and rushed her inside. The two sat on the couch, titanic playing on the tv.

Delilah gave her a playful glare, "Titanic, really?"

Gwen shrugged. "There was nothing else playing on the tv that I liked."

Delilah laughed and opened the bag before pulling out the bag of weed. They both shared one since that's what they liked to do.

"Is Kenny home?" Delilah grabbed her lighter from her back pocket and lit up the tip of the joint. She took the first puff before handing it to Gwen.

Gwen shook her head and took the joint. She brought it to her lips and inhaled, the flame glowing softly.

The smoke filled her lungs and she exhaled. "He's meeting up with a friend. Her name is Lia." Gwen stretched out her name.

"Ooo, Lia," Delilah smirked. Gwen passed the joint back to her. "Is he into her or something?"

"Maybe," Gwen shrugged. "He didn't want to talk about his first day. I think it was bad for him."

"Huh," Delilah hummed. "How was yours though?"

Gwen smiled at the girl, her eyes slightly turning red after a couple of inhales. "Thank you for asking." Delilah only shrugged as she blew out the smoke. "I met some people. Apparently they do Karate."

"Karate?" The fox girl laughed crazily.

Gwen narrowed her eyes. "Yeah... karate. Did I say something wrong?" She chuckled quietly.

"I know exactly who you're talking about."

"Really? Who then?"

"Miguel, Hawk, Demetri and Sam."

"Shit," Gwen muttered. "How did you know I was talking about them?"

"They're like the only people in our school that does Karate," Delilah told her. She looked at the tv and saw that Jack from Titanic was sinking to the bottom of the ocean. "God, I hate this part."

Gwen inhaled the weed and exhaled. "I don't know who this Sam girl is though."

"You didn't meet her?" Delilah asked. Gwen shook her head. "Daniel LaRusso's daughter."

"Oh," She realized. "That guy who always says 'we kick the competition!'" Gwen mocked his happy expression.

"Yup. And she's also Miguel's girlfriend. They're still together after that crazy school fight."

"School fight?"

"You never saw the videos?" Delilah sat up and Gwen slowly shook her head. "Okay, I'm gonna give you context." Delilah began. "Basically, Miguel was dating this girl 'Tory' and she caught him and Sam kissing one night at a party and the next day at school... she confronted Sam and they started fighting. And then the two karate dojos 'Cobra Kai' and 'Miyagi-Do' started fighting like crazy and Robby Keene, who was Sam's boyfriend at that time kicked Miguel over the railing and he fell like two stair cases down..." Delilah rambled.

"Holy shit," Gwen muttered.

"And like bro was in a coma until he woke up but he was paralyzed but he started walking again."

Gwen looked at Delilah with wide eyes and her jaw was dropped. Delilah closed her jaw with her hand and took the joint. "That's the most craziest shit I ever heard. They weren't joking about these karate wars."

"It's still going on... just less fighting. We gotta wait till the All-Valley tournament to see which dojo wins."

"Are you in any dojos?" Gwen asked Delilah with furrowed eyebrows.

Delilah coughed, smoke escaping her mouth after hearing Gwen's question. "God no. I'm trying to live."

The two laughed until the front door was opened and was slammed closed once the person came inside.

Gwen and Delilah perked their heads up from the couch and saw Kenny running into his room, half his costume torn off with light sniffles escaping his nose.

"Kenny?" Gwen called out worriedly.

He didn't respond and slammed his door. Gwen sighed and stood up from the couch. She felt a little dizzy until she balanced herself. "You good?" Delilah asked her.

"Yeah. I'm gonna check up on him. I'll be back." Gwen told her, receiving a nod back in response. She went over to Kenny's room and knocked on his door.

"Kenny?"

"Go away!" His voice cracked a little bit.

"Are you okay?"

"No! Just please... go away!" Gwen heard small cries coming from behind the door and she sighed. She turned around and walked back into the living room.

"He's crying and he won't tell me why." Gwen sat back down on the couch.

"I bet it was that Lia girl. Middle schoolers can be little shits." Delilah huffed.

"Facts," Gwen huffed.
