John's POV

I wake up to Alexander typing on his lap top. I look at the time, it's 12:13 a.m. why is he still awake? We don't have school for another week, but humans need sleep. Now that I look at him he has dark circles under his eyes and he looks so tired. He takes another sip of his coffee.

"I'm, hey, Alex?" I say his name and he barely looks at me and continues to type. "You almost done. It is really late."

"I'll be done in about five minutes, John." He says softly, "go back to sleep." He smiles gentally at me quickly then goes back to typing. I go back to sleep and when I wake up at 8 a.m. he was in the same spot.

"Did you write all night?" I ask him.

He looks up at the time, "so I did." He says, "well may as well keep going."

"Nope," is all I say before I take his lap top and hold it up high. He is maybe about 5,6 and I'm 6,4 so he really can't reach his lap top. Also he doesn't want to break it. "You can go to sleep for a bit and I will keep your lap top until you do."

He reluctantly pulls the covers over himself and as soon as his head touches the pillow he is out like a light. He is even adorable asleep.

Peggy's POV

My roommate is really nice, just like her brother. She is defiantly a person I wanna get to know so I start asking her questions.

"Ok Aspen, what is your favorite color?" I ask her.

"Mint green," she answers, not looking up from her book. Something I've noticed is she likes to read.

"Uuuuumm, favorite animal?"

"Wolf?" She says now looking at me confused, "why all the questions?"

"Trying to get to know you," I say smiling at her.

"Uh, ok. Ask away I guess."

"What's your... sexuallity?

"Gayer then a rainbow, like my brother."

"Do you have a crush?"

She blushes like crazy, "n-no!"

"You sure?" I plop down on her bed next to her.

"N-no," she whispers.

"Anyone I know?" Her cheeks become a brighter shade of red. "Really?! Who?!" I say excitedly.

"Um... well... it may or may not be Eliza..." That's when I got really excited.

"Really?! Ohmigawd yes!" I squeal.

"Hey chill!" She exclaims, "it's just a crush, not like she likes me back, besides we just met!"

"Who'd you just meet and she doesn't like you?" Eliza walks into the room and Aspen becomes as red as a tomato.

"I, uh, gotta go see my brother!" With that Aspen runs out of the room and Eliza looks super confused.

Alex's POV

I was sitting with John on the couch, writing, what else is new, when his sister Aspen bursts through the door. I met Aspen yesterday and honestly I do like her as a friend. She is really nice. However as she bursts through the door John nearly falls off the couch and I almost drop my lap top.

Even though she looks quite stressed her hair is in a side braid and her green eyes are popping with the black eyeliner she has on. She is a very pretty girl, and her brother is a very pretty boy, I mean what?

Aspen lays down on John's and mine's laps. Her head is on a pillow next to me. "Hello to you too, Aspen!" I say, I am quite amused by her antics.

"What's wrong?" John says looking at his sister.

"I think I have a crush!" She says in a slightly wining voice.

"And your bringing this up, why?" John asks.

"Because it's someone you know!" Then an idea pops in my head.

"Is is that girl that gave us the tour yesterday, um, Eliza?" She blushes, like really blushes.

"You like Eliza?!" John says surprised.

Aspen pulls the pillow over her face and groans.

Then, John gets a text.

"Hey, you guys wanna go over to Angelica Schuylar's dorm and meet the rest of the group?"

"Um, sure?" Aspen says.

"As in the Schuylar sisters, like Peggy, Eliza, and there sister?" I say giving Aspen a glance as she starts to blush at Eliza's name. Man, she has it bad.

"Nope. Nope. Nope. Not going. Nope!" Aspen says sitting up.

"No, you said you were going!" John says a smug look on his face, "so your going!"

Aspen suddenly jumps over the back of the couch and runs. John follows her and blocks the front door. She makes a mad dash for the bedroom, bad move. John chases her and closes the bedroom door. I hear screaming and, for a few minutes, quiet talking that I can't make out.

"Alex!" I hear Aspen yell and a whole lot of giggling.

"Aspen, no!" John yells, "I swear you tell him I will kill you!"

Aspen runs out of the room with John on her heels, "Alex, John likes-"

She is cut off by John grabbing her and covering her mouth. For this entire thing I and laughing my ass off. "Ok, ok, Alex, you coming with us?"

I stop laughing and nod.
