Alex's POV

"I'm probably going to regret this," John said before he connected out lips. I didn't pull away. I didn't want too. My crush, the guy I've has a crush on since we met was kissing me. I kiss back wrapping my arms around his waist and he cupped my face in his hands. I didn't want it to stop, but he broke the kiss.

"Maybe we should go to bed," he said quietly pushing his forehead against mine.

I nod against his head.

He helps me into my bed and starts to walk over to his bed. I grab his arm, "sleep with me? please?" I ask.

"U-um ok," he lays down, facing me and I curl up against him. He wraps his arms around me and we go to sleep like that.

The next day

I woke up with my head on John's chest. It moved up and down as he breathed, it felt good. I can feel him playing with my hair so he must be awake.

I look up at him, "good morning sleepy," he says gentally.

I smile, "Good morning!" I say, "what time is it?"

"11:30," he says.

"I've missed so many classes!" I groan.

"No you didn't," I look at him confused. "They cancelled classes for clean up around campus. They are gonna send an email out when classes will be back in session."

I nod and bury my face in his chest, "I'm so sorry, for yelling," I say.

"It's ok," he says. "I'm sorry for assuming you needed me to protect you."

"I'm also sorry for calling you... Jack." I say worriedly, "I didn't know it would hurt you that much and Aspen told me why."

"It's ok, alex, really" he said rubbing my back. I wanted to stay like that forever, I was so comfortable.

Aspen's POV

John didn't come back to Peggy and mine's dorm last night I really hope he's okay, he's my big brother after all. After the Storm I went to go see Eliza. It was a really bad storm there was damage everywhere, Fallen trees, broken glass, it was so awful outside. This beautiful campus that I've lived only for a month is almost completely destroyed there's already a bunch of people outside trying to fix it. I walk all the way to the building Eliza's dorm is. A knock on the door and Maria answers it.

"Hey Aspen," she said. "I assume you are hear to see Eliza?"

"How'd ya guess?" I said sarcastically.

Maria laughs a little, "I should have known, Imma go see Peggy then!" She walked past me and I went in the dorm. I found Eliza sitting on the floor eating.

"Hey, redwood!" She said, that's a new nickname.

"Um hi?" I say, "if you get to call me redwood then I'm call you lizard!"

"Deal!" She laughs, "so what's up?"

"Nothing much, I just wanted to make sure you where ok after that hurricane yesterday." I answered.

"I'm ok, I mostly tuned it out by listening to music."

"What music?" She gives me a pair of ear buds and plays music from Miranda: the musical, "Oh my God I love these songs!" I exclaimed.

"Me too," she said. We sat and listened to music all day. At one point she leaned on my shoulder and I blushed. However, I wasn't uncomfortable, it was nice.

Angie's POV

I was helping clean up a little bit before I got coffee and sat on the only bench that wasn't in a tree or on the roof. Then Thomas Jefferson sat down next to me. I didn't want to talk to him.

"Hey, Angie," he said.

"Don't call me that," I said, I have to admit it was a little harsh.

"Sorry, Angelica," he corrects himself. "How are you?"

"Well, my boyfriend cheated on my so just peachy!" I say sarcastically.

"Jeez, don't forget my girlfriend cheated with him!" He said. I forgot he was dating Sally at the time.

I sighed, "Thomas, I'm sorry."

"It's ok, I know I can be a huge douche bag sometimes, but I am really sorry for everything I did to you guys in the past." He said, he apologized? Gee now I really feel guilty.

There is an awkward silence for a couple of seconds before I say, "so, I heard you left the group."

"Yeah, I didn't leave at first, when Thomas and Sally started dating," he said. "But when Reynold hit Aspen, he took it to far. Madison left with me."

I nodded, for the first time ever, I enjoyed talking to Thomas Jefferson. Maybe he isn't such a bad guy after all.

Suddenly Herc come running up to me, "Angie, come quick!"

"What is it Hercules?" I asked now that I look closer he has tears on his face.

"It's Laf!"
