Alex's POV

Henry left me tied up in the boiler room for a bit after giving me a good beating. He came back with Aspen. Oh no.

She looks over to me, "Alex!?"

"Aspen!" I say as Henry comes in behind her.

"And Henry!" He laughs.

"What do you want with us?!" Aspen shouts, "John and I aren't even your kids anymore, you disowned us."

He slaps her, "because this world would be so much better off without faggots like you, Jack, and his little boyfriend!"

He pushes Aspen to the ground, "leave her alone!" I try to get up but my legs give out from under me.

"Oh, would you prefer I beat up you?" He asks.

"Alex, no!" Aspen says.

"It's ok, Aspen," I say.

He picks me up by my shirt and punches me in the face, hard. Then he punches me in the gut, knocking the air out of me. I fall to the ground and he kicks me many times in the side and once in the face. This whole time I can hear Aspen crying. Better me being beat then her, I could see some bruises on her face so she was already his a couple of times.

Suddenly, Henry stops, then he chuckles, "I have an idea to get rid of you." He says, "I'll be back soon Aspen."

He drags me put the boiler room door to the indoor pool on campus. It has the pool cover over it because no one is here. Suddenly he throws me in. I can't swim. I struggle as the pool cover starts to wrap around me. I slowly sink. Before my face goes into the deep pool I see people run into the area. Then I go under water.

Natasha's POV (finally she actually exists)

James and I stuck together during the search for Alex.

"Hey, Nat," he suddenly says.

"Y-yes Jemmy?" I say.

"I-I... I think I like you, a lot," he says nervously. Wait he just said he likes me?

"I thought you were asexual," I say not making eye contact as we walk.

"Well I-" I put my hand up because I heard something.

Then I heard it again, a muffled yell for help.

"Someone's calling for help, come on!" I say and grab his hand and run down the hall. We stop at the boiler room and open the door to see Aspen with tears in her eyes.

"Aspen!?" James exclaims. He runs over to her and unties the rope around her wrists.

"We don't have time," she says standing up. "Henry took Alex to the pool area."

"I'll text the group," I say.

Text to Squad

Natty: we found Aspen

Lizard: we already knew where Aspen was

AlexIsBea: actually I got a call from Henry that he had both Alex and Aspen

RedWood: I'm ok but Alex isn't Henry took him to the pool

AlexIsBea: oh god Alex can't swim

LargeBaguette: WE HAVE TO GET TO HIM NOW

Later

John's POV

We rush to the pool. Laf and Herc catch up to me and we rush into the pool room. We see Henry standing over the pool and Alex going under the water, he's tangled in the pool cover.

Henry turns to us in suprise and lay and Herc grab him. I run past him and jump into the pool. Alex is already at the bottom, he can't move because he is tangled in the cover. I swim down to him and try to get the pool cover undone. I can't, it's to tangled. Suddenly someone swims down to me, Peggy.

I look back at Alex and he looks tired of struggling and holding his breath. This water is also freezing. Peggy takes out a pocket knife and cuts Alex out of the pool cover. After it's of I wrap my arms around him, that when I realize he isn't consiouse anymore. Peggy and I swim up as fast as we can. Aspen and Thomas help pull Peggy, Alex, and I out of the water.

I imeadiatly lean over him and check his pulse.

"He doesn't have a pulse!" I yell, tears start to run down my face.

"We need to preform CPR!" Eliza says.

"I'm doing thirty compressions and three breaths," I say.

I start pushing on Alex's chest, each time water coming out of his mouth. After I push down thirty times I lean over and breath into his mouth.

I start to tire and it starts to get harder to try and bring him back. I'm at it for about five minutes, no change.

"Mon ami, take a quick break, I can do it," I nod and let Laf continue. Tears stream down my face.

Laf does it for another five minutes, "where is that damn ambulance." Says Aspen.

The police had already come for Henry but they had nothing to help Alex. Laf and I switch again. I do more breaths and more compressions.

Suddenly, just as paramedics burst through the door Alex gasps for air and coughs up water.

"Alex!" I exclaim.

Before he can say anything paramedics swarm around us and take him from my arms.

"Wait! Alex!" I stand up and follow them out to the ambulance, my friends following. They don't let me into the ambulance with him. I break into more sobbing.

"Hey, hey, John, he's ok!" Aspen says standing in front of me and looking up at me, "you saved him, he's ok."

I nod. He's ok. He's gonna be ok.
