WOOOOOOO WE REACHED THE FINAL! YAAAAAAASS!

Alex's POV

After a few weeks of healing I was back to my old self. I had more of an issue with water but I'm ok now. John and I are as close as ever. I couldn't be more in love with someone. He is my world. Today is the day before summer vacation. I have to go back to my old home in the Caribbean to live with my cousin. I'm excited to see him again even if living on Nevis wasn't the best experience in my life. I won't get to see John that much but we promised each other we would talk and video chat as much as possible.

Me and the rest of the group walk around the campus. There are some people talking and laughing and crying. It's an emotional day but most of us will we each other next year. Even Aaron because he's taking another year even though he's a senior.

As we walk John takes my hand in his, "I love you, Lex."

"I love you, too, Freckles," I say.

"You two are disgustingly adorable," Angie says, holding Thomas's (Jefferson) hand.

"Your one to talk," John says. "You and Thomas haven't let go of each other's hands and you haven't even made it official yet."

"We're taking it slow," Thomas says sharing a glance with Angie.

"I get that," says Aspen.

We walk around and talk for a long time before we all head back to our dorms to finish packing.

Later at the dorm
(Little bit of a sad John here so I'm sorry)

As I pack up my limited amount of stuff I feel John wrap his arms around my waist. It's not until I feel him shaking that I realize he is crying.

I turn around and face him, he looks down, "hey, what's wrong, love?"

"I don't want you to go," he crys.

"John I have to go," I say and lift his head so he is looking at me.

"No, y-you could come and s-stay with me," he says. I sigh.

"You know I can't," I say. "My cousin wants to see me for the summer but I promise that I will text and call and video chat with you as much as I can, ok?"

"O-ok..." he says.

"Hey, we will see each other soon," I put my hands on his shoulders. "This summer will be over before you know it and as soon as I see you I will hug and kiss you as much as I can."

I stand on my tip toes and kiss his forehead. He pulls me down away from his head and connect our lips. I smile into the kiss and wrap my arms around him.

"I love you," I whisper.

"I love you, too," he says into my ear. "More then anything."

The next day

My whole group of friends took me to the airport. My plain to Nevis was boarding soon, it was time to say good bye.

I hug the Schuylar sister and Maria tightly, "see you guys next year."

"Hey, be safe you crazy idiot," says Angie.

"I will," I turn to Thomas, James, and Nat. "I'm glad I got to know you all."

"Us to, Alex," Nat says.

I give then all a quick hug then turn to Herc and Laf, "thank you guys for everything, I couldn't ask for better friends."

"We will miss you mon ami," Laf says hugging me tightly.

"See ya next you bud," Herc says and hugs me.

I then turn to Aspen, she is almost in tears. She throws herself toward me in a tight hug.

"Thank you for being my best friend," she says.

"And thank you for being mine," we pull apart and I turn to John. Just looking at him made me start to cry, "God, I'm gonna miss you so much."

I wrap my arms around him tightly, "I love you, Lex."

"I love you too, freckles," I pull away and kiss him, he kisses back.

"Flight to Nevis, now boarding," we hear over the com.

"Time to go," I say. Everyone gives me one last hug then I'm off to the tiny island that I call home. Goodbye New York, for now.
