Aspen's POV

I woke up on Angelica and Theo's couch with a pounding headache. Stupid hangover.

"Hey, Redwood," says Eliza sitting up from the floor.

"Good morning, Lizard," I sit up and wince. "Ah, my  head."

"Hangover?" She laughs a little.

"Yeah, hey, why don't you have one?" I ask, she looks completely fine.

"I don't know," she says. "I never get them."

"Lucky you!" I say as I lay back down.

She laughs a bit, god her laugh is cute. "It's ok, I have a good hangover remedy!" With that she walks into the little kitchen area.

Later that day

Alex's POV

John had gotten a call a little bit ago, since then he has been acting really weird. I wanted to know about the kiss we share, however. The one during the hurricane not the one last night. I doutp he remembers the one from last night.

"Hey, John? Can we talk?" I ask, I seem to have knocked him out of his thoughts.

"Oh uh, yeah, sure," he says. "What about?"

"The kiss, during the hurricane?" He looks at me in the eye.

"It w-was just a kiss," he says.

"Oh, I thought you um-" he cuts me off.

"That I was, gay?" He says, "it's ok yeah no I'm... as strait as a ruler."

"O-oh, ok," I feel the tears come but I hold them back. "I'm gonna go and see Aspen and Peggy."

I walk to Peggy and Aspen's room and hear both of them squeal.

I walk into their dorm, "Hey guys, what are you so happy about?" I ask.

"I got to spend a bunch of time with Eliza!" Aspen says happily, god she really likes Eliza. She still has a chance with her, I have no chance with John, he's strait.

"Cool," I say flopping down on their couch.

"Ok, what's wrong?" Peggy asks.

"Well I found out John is strait," I say. "That would have been good to know."

Aspen and Peggy burst out laughing, "John? Strait? Yeah, and I am not in love with Eliza!" Aspen says through laughter. I was so lost.

"Yeah, Alex, John's bout as strait as a circle!" Peggy laughs.

"He told me he was strait," I say, confused.

They stop laugh and look concerned, "there's only one reason he would have said that." Aspen says.

Peggy nods, "come on," Peggy and Aspen stands up. "We need to go and talk to him." I'm confused but I follow them.
